Magical Girl Quest - The Fire That Burns

A point to keep in mind though, the First Affinity listed on any character sheet is innate to the person. It strikes me as being like a more... benevolent form of how Type-Moon handles Origins almost.

In Crystal's quest, yes.

And no, I don't know what fucked up the First Affinity for Solar or Lunar anymore either. I was like "Someone associated with the Sun and Moon respectively cause all planets seem to have a spirit?" and Crystal did... something with that I think.

Rukia doesn't have Crystal's notes
Oh this, so much this. It would solve so many problems if I had his notes.
I've cobbled together what I can find by sifting through the thread but.. Well, I'm not him.
I can't make everything align perfectly because I don't even know it's not right sometimes.

(Also I would find it darkly hilarious if the continent springs into war because of the benevolent request of the spirit of the land for the sake of renewal. Truly Nature and Man have fallen out of sync :V)

Through Action: A man becomes a hero.
Through Death: A hero becomes a legend.
Through Time: A legend becomes a myth.
And by learning from the myth, a man takes action.

Does this mean an important male character or not?
You need to go deeper

(Eventually, yes)

Oh boy... and my workload for today just became a little bigger. Oh well...
At least I do not need to craft a vote this time.

Furthermore, we already know we have something in common with our potential ally Ebony Knight, seeing that both care a great deal about their siblings... although she is a little sister, from what I could gather.

Oh? *clicks* lets see whats going on.

*reads wall of text aimed at a discussion I didn't even know was going on*

... What the fuck have I missed?

If you guys want me to answer a question about my own system this was based off of. Feel free to ask :V

Just remember to tag me so I know the question is being asked. Now to go through and read everything I missed... Maybe. Considering playing my console.

...I may be blind to the potential sarcasm here.

But fuck it! I'm asking! Can growth affinities change?

Hmm...is a timed fuse in theme for fire?

I think so.

Also, a few thoughts from me while I hunt for data:
We found that we can push magic into our weapon and armour, but never actually tried doing it properly; keep that in mind for the next magic-session. Also, getting our actual flight would be good.
We also decrease our own weight for this version of Flight, which allows us to go to greater heights... but things we carry do not get lighter, as we saw with Una just in the last update. Maybe look into that.

Furthermore, I just noticed that Double Cast was a great thing to buy.
Our Thermal Spear has either Burn or Freeze; the latter does 1% Maximum Health damage per turn and reduces the target's ApT to 1 (if it was 1 before, the target is frozen in place).
Burn has the same damage... however, it can be stacked up to three times; which means that a single use of Thermal Spear can already apply two stacks.

We have to experiment on whether we can get extra damage by alternating between fire and ice.

Also, we should save up for Ignition Aura - Burning Plate; the description is a little weird, but it is basically another 10% damage reduction while it is active.
Then we just need to train keeping it active all around us, but only barely above our skin; we get the reduction without setting everything on fire, although the floor around our feet might melt.

My thoughts so far. Please expand.
Oh, also Spell Boost on our sword the moment we can buy it; the spells are our main source of damage and every bit counts.

Speaking of the sword, maybe we should ask Una if she came up with a name by now?

Edit: Actually, one more thing.
We have healing power and we can roughly guess how it runs through our body; try to express it outwards like Ignition Aura for a healing variant?

Considering that Sinarblood will probably not be around until the vote is called... should I put up an alternative with that taken into account?

Maybe. I think I would prefer to set the forest on fire from its edge.

If it starts a war, it's not our problem; especially if we leave for Europe as soon as possible.

Edit: But this rule might be a problem:
3 - Try and prevent any large wars from breaking out.

Okay then.
By the way, why is everyone voting for Sinarblood when they are just voting for one of the default choices?

[X] Move further away from the border tonight then set up camp, town tomorrow
-[X] Set the forest on the American side of the border on fire with Thermokinesis, about a hundred metres before the fences if you still can
--[X] Do it by putting a few small sparks that will grow into wildfires quickly, up and down the edge of your range; that will give you time to get further away
-[X] Make sure you are no longer in an area the fire can reach, should it reach over to the Canadian part of the forest

By the way, would anyone mind me adding the upgrade for our Aura to the vote?
Ah, whatever.

[X] EXP Plan Adherent of Fire
-[X] Buy "Ignition Aura: Burning Plate"

We have just enough EXP for it
If people do not agree with this, they can just copy the course of action instead and everyone can be happy.

People are doing a simple vote to let Cerys get some rest for once.
You won't miss starting the fire, regardless of what you vote unless you vote not to do it.

Yes, but this is mostly about starting the fire on the other side of the border; if we let it rest now, we may get out of range and that might be... not good.

It's way too close for my comfort.

If they have a sniper with a thermal scope, it's going to hurt. *paranoia intensifies*

That's why I wanted to start the fire from inside Canada.

It means to go no further than 700 metres from the border, then set the other side on fire. We have to be in range of the point we want to set ablaze.
And it takes a world-class sniper to hit a small and moving target at 700 metres.
