I'm not going to weigh in on the logic of either side's arguments, but I will ask that everyone read over what they write and really consider if the words they used are polite and won't be inflammatory intentionally or not. You cant account for people's tolerances perfectly but at least try to say your piece without saying things that can be easily construed as overly dismissive of the other side of the argument, thank you.

its a shame with the Skaudardrengi, that we cant get other rune lords help make it, so that it can get more traits add to it, like Karstah if she could help would add Master of Metal, Beastbane and Master of the Odd, but that it not the way it works with rune lords work with there creations, so its a shame
 
Been a while since we last heard from Jorri , he not dead yet ? Actually does him founding an entire guild that will presumably spann the whole Ankor and change in theory being sweeping positive changes be enough for him to qualify for capital A ancestor god status

If so does that mean he's further along doing that then Snorri is ?

Why not though ?, in cannon the rune smiths did collaborative projects with the elves during the golden age , so getting multiple rune lords to work together on a project should be comparatively easy, all we have to do is find one we are on good terms with and ask , worst case scenario they say no
 
By the way I think a good reason to vote waiting for until Skaurdrengi is finished is incase were injured building our forging in the storm.

Sure we've got aetherbinder but it's not a sure thing that we can make it out of there without any injuries. So burning the favor to make sure we dont fail to do wahts required of us if we need some healing is valid.

Helping establish the holds of the far north seems like the most in character use of the favor, unless we can think of something else that would benefit the Karaz Ankor even more. Setting these holds up as bastions against any future threat from the north is well worth doing for DEFENCE IN DEPTH, and we can trust the Valayans to do things properly. It would be cool if we doubled down on it by throwing most of a turns worth of actions and a bunch of Far North favors at it, I love the idea of Snorri leading the Rhunki throng of Khazagar on a mission of peace and construction. Because of course Vragni couldn't simply let that stand, and I like the place where that road leads long term.

High King intervenes in Thane business on the say so of a Runelord. As mentioned, crossing the streams will have consequences, this is a big ask so it will get big attention

This one is more as a concerned citizen of the North to the High King in his capacity as ruler. A fair ask, less blatant who its for, and however the war goes, increased settlement will help stabilize things after the stones go boom.

[ ] [Whitebeard:] An improved official opinion on Khazagar. With it, the scrutiny of the Guild, but the belief of the Son of Grungni himself in your stated purpose?. High King Whitebeard will support your stated stance that Khazagar is not an attempt at centralization of the Runesmiths Guild.

It also kind of sounds a bit self aggrandizing, so I'm really torn.

Edit: I of course want our dragon the big premiere too but yeah. Sounds kinda self centered.
 
I want the most help with the future settlement of Holds, mostly because I just find the idea of New Holds really interesting. Have been excited for the end of the War for that exact reason ever since the Valayans proposed the idea back during the first march. What will they look like? What will their divergences and cultures become. The geographic features and location of them. Thinking about how their presence will change Norsca's future. Good stuff. real good stuff. So any help to speed up that process and possibly get more Holds out of it is great for me.

Normally would be tempted to go for the favor option, but I feel like it would be almost rude of Snorri to just refuse to use a request on the High King and hold the favor over him, nor do I think Snorri's the glory-seeking type to ask that the war be unnecessarily extended just so we can make use of our newest toy.

Instead, just getting help to set up the new holds of the north would be much more useful for the average dwarf, and something I think makes the most sense for us to thus ask for, as it both helps remove the fimir as a threat in the future, helps the average dwarf, and generally feels like a very Snorri-like thing, to get a favor from the High King himself, and choose to use it helping others.
