A toll he could set up himself in time at small costs which aids the kingdom and Rhaenyra's reputation. Mutually beneficial enrichment does not put us on his good side after everything else and our hand in helping Viserys find an alternative to Laena. The point of the exercise is to set up a bureaucratic entity that we can later build upon to expand the state capacity of the realm and centralize power on us, the monarch. We will also have a chance to set up further trade and banking ventures through it to enrich ourselves.

Also I'm extremely glad we're looking at talking with Isembard Arryn in every plan, I was kinda expecting I'd have to vote just the plans that talked with him, but now I actually have options. I think its a very important talk.

Turning this into a grand multi turn finance scheme we'll struggle to follow through on to juggle within the Lord of Laws title pursuit, Dorne Marriage visits, Martial training, Alicent Romance, and getting over our hangups with Rhaenyra's sisters?
Can we please not add this to our collection of spinning plates? Especially not at the cost of snubbing Laena after asking her to stick around just to combine it with talking to Corlys ?

In general, people need to stop with the attitude towards others plans and their suggestions. Don't sour the fun for everyone else just because you disagree with someone's actions in their plan.

Okay I'm getting annoyed with this. You have a chance to talk with people at the feast. If you don't talk with someone in the plan you can talk with them. So people please stop being so weirdly agressive about Laena.

This action is directly in pursuit of the Master of Laws title and naturally integrates with our Dorne visit, diplomatic overtures to the Velaryons and our long-term plans to win over other lords through diplomacy and a spot of bribery.
As for Laena, the plan is to take her along to Dragonstone which was repeatedly stated and has been confirmed as valid by Teen Spirit. Plus we can talk to her at the festival.

I do not want to see anymore people getting rather rude and salty just because a plan does not have someone they want to talk to. That is not acceptable behavior.
There's the feast for Daemon that will be an interlude. You will have a chance to talk to many people there, so if you don't talk to someone in the plan, you will have a chance to talk to them then.

Just like the idea of Daemon shoulder checking Mellos down a flight of stairs instead of using multiple actions to talk to Johanna and Otto or however the diplomatic path would go.

Surprised it isn't more popular already. Daemon solves the biggest issue I had with the timing of going to Dragonstone - namely, that we wouldn't be able to make any serious progress on getting Viserys better treatment before we go off gallivanting on a vacation like we don't care - so I'm definitely voting for any plan that includes both Daemon and RTA (because I love Rhaenyra taking on ambitious projects that show the Realm she's someone to be taken seriously).

I agree. He already has had time to set up his business and it is time for us to go collect our due payment in influence and money.
He is being set up to be one of our most steadfast allies so it would be good if the making some money and his own web of allies and influence for us. We will need it eventually.
I think we should use this conversation to know him better and to see how we will fit together. As we know him better, we might one day bring up that our ascension might be contested by other(I.E Daemon and our yet unborn brother) but for now, we should get to know him better.
I think this is the time to gauge where Corlys is in relation to our ascension/us being the heir.
As far i understand he is very ambitious and very stubborn, so there is a chance that his head is stuck on getting his blood on the royal family and he wants a marriage more than anything, so it would not be a reach to say he would be willing to marry Laena to Daemon, the pretender OR demand to marry our firstborn to the firstborn of either Laenor or Laena. He is greedy like that. Neverthless we need to have this conversation to gauge him and see were he his. Depending on his position(and demands) we might be able to talk with Rhaenys and Laena to soften some of these demands. That said we don´t have much of a relationship with the Velarions so who knows what they would do ?
I also think that he will not appreciate that we made him even more rich with our Marriage contract by bringing Dorne into the fold because he is already very rich and what his hearth desires is to see his progeny on the Throne.
I think Otto might need to be a bit soften up before we talk to him. I feel that Gwayne in private talks with Otto should suggest that Alicent has our ear and favour. In such a way that this could be a way for house Hightower to keep itself on top.
Also i think we should talk with him about him becoming the next City Watch commander. We can´t let Daemon get his old role back and more important he is our ally. An ally as the commander of the city watch is very good.
The same though. It would allow us to create a bureaucracy with people loyal to us that would ultimately allow us to better our odds in the coming Civil War.
We are already super stressed, we need this trip to bring it down.

Daemon does has the best chance on solving the issue with Melos. We don´t like each other but he at least still cares about our father and it is important to say that it would be good if our father lives a long life. It would give us time to set the odds for the civil war in our favor. Also if he does rile us up we can deal with it by relaxing in the trio to Dragonstone.
