Anyway, was feeling a bit under the weather for most of the day, and worried after I finally had something to eat because I was worried I'd have an upsurge of my chronic stomach problems, but they didn't materialize. I'll have designs up later tonight once I've caught up on my other obligations.

A Iterative design on The Thunderous Declaration Class Scout Destroyer, what it lacks in imagiation, it more then makes up with its Cluster Charge Missile stores, Changing the Missile Massacre it inflicts from being a simple sextupling, to the very real possiblity of Duodecupleing of effective munitions on target. Any Ship that finds itself without adequate point defense faces a serious risk of Being killed by ten thousand cuts. Normally, such would be a exateration, not so with The Soundless Cry

Edit 2: I think i messed up, i havent accounted for the 2DP tax for adding equipment. Had to remove a Missile Pod, and reduce the speed down to 9 Gravities, feels bad. but thats what happens when you dont really know the system well.


Edit 3: I made a Ramming Heavy cruiser. because why wouldnt the lamenters have a heavy cruiser with the best prow upgrades possible?

A question was onced asked by a tech acolyte of the star mechanicum

"why do the lamenters bother Boarding the enemy ships if they can just break them in half?"

after being berated by thier superiors, the question was left unawnsered for the acolyte. but it never left thier mind

after decades of study, and centuries of service, the acolyte, now magos, finnaly awnsered the question they once asked.

because none of thier ships can fly through a entire fleet destroying all in its wake. in light of this knoweldge, the magos designed, and presented plans for a ship that would be able to break a battleship in half should it get in contact.

Designed not as a solo ship, but rather as a ambush predator for a fleet action, the Dawning Age Ramming ship was designed to weigh as much as possible, from its armor ususally used on fortresses, to its absurd size compared to other lamenter ships. the Dawning Age is meant to be a unnoticed part of the swarm of lamenter ships approaching a enemy fleet. until getting within range, where its heavily armored prow, heavy shielding, and absurd armor will last it until making contact with the core of the enemy fleet. Destroying carriers and flagships and still having energy to spare for whatever is behind.

it does go slightly over the DP budget, but i suspect it will be fine, if Alectai even chooses to use it.

A front-line combatant designed to break-up enemy formations with constant, punishing fire from a massive array of macro-cannons optimised for short-to-mid range void combat, supplemented by a robust anti-voidcraft defense network, allowing it to screen longer-ranged allied vessels. In addition to it's substantial arsenal, the Parrying Gladius carries a Large Teleportarium, allowing the harshly-trained Lamenter Crew to perform rapid boarding actions, disrupting enemy crew.

My condition worsened overnight, I won't be good for anything for a while longer, at least until I can finally sleep
 
Yeah, the aforementioned stomach problems resurged with a vengeance.

The nausea when my stomach's OS restarted was new though, probably going to see if I can shake my doctor loose.
 
How about a quick stealth ship to enable planetary landings? Beyond that how about a ship that supports other fleets with boarding hard targets while laying cover fire.
