You know what, that's a good point XD
though arguments could be made still from the same party about a certain touchy subject from them :V

(Im being vague on purpose)

....well this was an interesting set of post to wake up to. A couple of good rolls and potemtial DNA submission finding? I made my potential submissions already, but I did not know it was 1 per person (oops). If anything I think I prefer Necrodancers DNA instead of Team Darks DNA making it in, but thats a BIG if.
.... Now I wonder what the heck happened?

@Bitterman so if you can answer this, what would've been the condition on unlocking the other version of Reality Check? Iirc you mentioned there were 3 versions, we got the 1AP version and avoided the worst version where SB cloned Yara. So what's the other one? (If you can answer)

…..right, before I forget again, what was your reaction on us going back and forth on Key's identity ever since the Prevail Fill-In Issue?

@Kermie omake idea: Shelley scrambles upon learning that Chatelet, the one who's supposed to lead the charge against the enemy (accounting and finance) is missing along with the actual leader of JU. :V

Not the QM but if I were to take a guess?
The "best" scenario aka the 2 AP version would have probably be: SB doesnt touch Yara, we beat SB soo badly even with her boardwipe that she dies/ the eldritch whatever the fuck doesnt get to be involved and the teleport doesnt happen/ it happens buts its somewhere quickly reachable. I think the main reason we got the 1 AP version is since Yara is "assumed" dead since she is in the Frozen Throne. But thats just my opinion.

Also poor Income squad. They just lost their Commander against the "enemy". Lol

Given the recent rolls, it seems like JU's budget really is held up with shoestring and a prayer, right?

(Pay no attention to the fact that getting more income seems to require basically defeating one of the Factions in here, Chihiro aside)

Edit:
Could "send your P13 heroes to go kill Behemoths" be a valid action, and similarly an "go buy the Batman kit for non-metahumans, and maybe for low Hit metahumans too" action?

We have an action for hunting Behemoths, it gives 2000 income plus an extra 1000 if we succeed against a Gold-Rank Behemoth.

I kind of think it should be upgraded since we have 2 P13s now, and Mona seems to be able to take out Behemoths fairly easily.

Yeh even with Wulongs Ops to make the Plan, the members would still need to do legwork in the espionage to fool everyone.
He hid it from the general public and Monarch, but Lady Leizi found out by the start of the second issue.

Belle Sabreuse. Probably abstains tbh, but I don't think trust comes easy to her, and she doesn't know New Dawn well, so if anything probably No.
I could see her voting Yes on the strength of New Dawn helping her and Yara at the press conference

I think as someone else put it we would be making it worse when we want to murge

Truly I find this reasoning. Just a very good bit annoying
It acts as if they will be lesser members as if they have not earned enough reason to be let in on it
We can trust the one mission cyclops but can't the people we want joining the team

Like we are on the good foot right now I very much don't see a reason we must keep them in the dark that isn't but what if they tell someone?
Like as if they weren't keeping a very tight lid on how many people they had post movement & were keeps wonder land in check with it

Like we told our news lady about it

Like dog Wolong is one of the most vital people we have added to the project he's 3rd pick for leadership for a dam good reason
Merged the above quotes for ease.

...Yes?

Already went over this earlier but Belle Sabreuse got hard tied into JU very quickly due to Yara, White Hawk, and saving her life. She was right there for Dynamite which is near impossible to hide. She's already locked in both due to Yara and White Hawk while basically having had the secret blasted into her face and healing her.

We told Chihiro because of the mix of Leizi trusting her near implicitly off prior experience of knowing she's in their corner and frankly? She's the PR head, she needs to know this type of thing so that she could put spins out and defend in public without issues. Its necessary to her job.

Wolong is the 3rd pick for leadership in many ways because the rest of our options are not fit for leadership off of sheer experience level currently. And he is a good leader judging by how he kept the appearances up but that doesn't matter. We made an alliance deal that we have not yet followed through on meaningfully. Get through multiple New Dawn related missions first and then we would have shown that we are going through with things alliance wise.

We know Miss Naught and Gentleman James have liked working with us, we still need to build up with the rest. JU and ND were in fact antagonistic after all, Palisade iirc was part of Novalight's faction there will likely be some measure of bad blood still there. Why would it be a bad sign of treatment in the merge when we have not worked with them all on a major level barring exactly Black Swan? Build that trust with the non Wolong end naturally while proving we're good heroes by working through a decent chunk of our New Dawn actions and showing we can put our money where our mouth is.

Read them in is 9 votes ahead of don't. I implore people to consider that there's multiple big reasons why Wolong and Lady Leizi decided to keep Project Prometheus confidential. Wolong didn't even object to keeping his people in the dark about it, and Lady Leizi has kept his plans for a new Wonderland under wraps from anyone else.

Not only are there practical concerns, there's also the fact that it would feel very wrong for Wolong to tell his team about our big secret when Lady Leizi hasn't told anyone about his plans for a new supermax prison.

Palisade wasn't Pro-Novalight, she was just (very minorly) Anti-Leizi.

More that Half of poeple who bandwangon never consider things, remember the last Mini-Vote, so many people bandwagoned a stupid descion, for the lolz.

[X] Mystery Box
as long as what's in the box isn't psychic sensitivity, the box is better than the roll.

WOLONG SWEAP TIME LETS GO!

(On a separate note: this is a hero creation quest. Having recently watched Sonic Movie 3, I really want a teleporter who rides a motorcycle)

Reading them in isn't an inherently terrible decision, and the reasoning isn't unsound to be honest.

But with that said, it's not really even a trust thing. I'd fully trust them to be cool about it, based on what has been seen of them. But It IS a security risk, without question. They don't need to know. They really don't.

And if we want to be paranoid and concerned about things, there's also the you know...Extremely real possibility of double agents. Like Ronin explicitly is, and handyman explicitly was. Are they double Agents? Who knows! Our Main Espionage expert is presently indisposed so as far as our "As confirmed as you can get" aspect goes we don't got it so.

We've got a very powerful Metahuman whose whole power is probability analysis and manipulation who has been left barking up the absolute wrong tree. That's nuts!
All the power in the world is useless if you don't know what question to ask. And just giving people powers? Who would even if you could?
Postdiluvian (Stockpile!Quest, post-Eidolon)
Feeeeeed the mill. +1!

SB doesn't touch Yara and either Hand makes off with SB or you pass the DC20 and keep him from doing the teleport thing.

Also, the votes are close enough that I'll keep it open for a while longer.

Wolong is also completely positive none of his team are double agents. New Dawn has also been up to some Shit(TM) in the past and they've kept mum on it. He's used his power on all of them, which is about as sure as IC you can be.

As I recall Bitterman confirmed the vote is for the rest of Justice Unlimited to tell Wolong that it's okay to tell New Dawn. But I still agree with your vote. It's too early for them to assume that Leizi is dead, so having them enact contingencies in her stead doesn't make sense.

It's not about paranoia against New Dawn, it's proper operational security regarding our biggest secret. As far as I know there's only been disclosures to people who are slated to join Project Prometheus anyway, with Chihiro being the exception. But she wasn't voted on as I recall, and operational security hinges on making the minimal disclosures you are required to. So when given the chance, I will vote to keep the information need to know, or at least require more screentime to be given.

[X] Don't.
[X] Normal Roll

Mystery box is always bait and I have a feeling this one's going to be worse than just rolling for side effect, so we should avoid it.

My previous thoughts on this:
So, this comment has stuck in my brain for a bit, and it finally came up with something: a group about their own superiority, which came around from a combination of good luck, birth and yes, hard work for at least some of them, have created a way to empower themselves at great expense and risk to others by being a psychic parasite, which they slowly, inefficiently benefit from.

In contrast, Project Prometheus grants no direct benefit to its creator nor those who administrator it, it instead empowers others, allowing them to act and be stronger together, and in turn the group can help more and more people. It costs a lot, but is quick, efficient and recycles an otherwise useless and dangerous pollution.
The "fuck you, I'm special and I'll become even more special" selfish attitude vs the altruistic "we, the lucky, exist to help and empower, which we can now do literally".
