I however, am content with more modest designs, after-all, our forces deserve a new standard vehicle-pool

Ahhh nah I was saying I want the vote to include oneGo wild!

We've only got 5 combat-geared temple ships. I figure we send 5 ships at a time and then it's fine if we have 4 mucking around back at home solving civil disputes. Also @Alectai, @Neablis I just noticed, but Temple ships should really be something we pay attention to the holy number's thing. I really don't want us to have 9 Temple Ships while a Tzeentch cult is mucking around out of sight.
War against Slaanesh is still going on.Shouldn't we turn off the Lament Symphony? It's turned on but I don't think any big battles are going on.
This plan is basically "Move over Military actions. General Actions are back". Love to see it
We can expand more easily by taking Griffanny and the border sub-sector. This also ignores the fact they are/will soon attack Grove so we should send at least some reinforcements thereWe've only got 5 combat-geared temple ships. Anyway, more worked-out plan:
[] Plan: Seizing the Strategic Position
-[-] [General] Integrate The New Territories (4/17)
-[] [Free] Consecrate In Sacred Sand (Write-In Sub-Sector)
-[] [Free] Choirs are good. No changes.
-[] [General] Colonize (Sub-Sector) x3 (2 actions + mechadendrite action)
--[] Long Tower & the two sub-sectors past it, to close the Saliant against the Diaconate. As such:
![]()
-[] [General] Integrate The New Territories (5/17) (Cry for the Future Action)
This not only cuts them off in their expansion, it also gives us more strategic depth. And with the size of our SDFs & the fortification initiative we did way back in the day that matters. Every system is well-fortified and protected and will be a damned difficult nut to crack. We can fight a defensive war until we've finished digesting our new territory, and then we'll be ready to take the fight to them.
Just a random question but does our navy even use burner-seeker mine-layers on any of our ships?

If that Cry action is a flex one, have you considered Profilozof's "ask the star child a question about the Diaconate" one? Might be worth doing before we start chucking infiltration against them and such. We've only got 5 combat-geared temple ships. I think we'll aim for that when we do a general research turn — I think we want to grab ground vehicles and that as well as a flex research slot I think. If we dump our actions into research we ought to get 4 actions and then a flex one from cry which can be another 2 research or a single of anything else (or a 2 in Psykana)Could we get an action to research Sigils? Seems like a major upgrade we should really try to get.
Should we preemptively set up some burner mines near the diaconate?

I would suggest that instead of what you are proposing we instead do the top left unnamed sub-sector that you have circled; the one above it (Griffanny) to block the Shipwrights Grove from eating that whole area and Alatre's Home down near the bottom of the Sector to prevent the Diaconate from accessing a bunch more sub sectors. Then, next turn we go for even more colonizing, backfilling the two other sub sectors that you circled and the one below the circle to link up with Alatre's Home. We've only got 5 combat-geared temple ships.
