Hurray! Now we know our base location, unfortunate it's deep in Zavok territory. We really going have to be careful when trying to gather Metal and baniks from him because it's real easy for him to go after us.
Next turn I propose we go smash some badniks with Metal Sonic since his 30 Power make easy to pass the second roll and not make Zavok suspected nothing is going on in our neck of woods.
So that GUN either is from Sonic X or this Agent Topaz is from Sonic's world.

He probably going to be hero unit as well and one that have descent Heart stats since Paramount!Robotnik use him as a intermediary to speak with anyone he don't like and was well used to Robotnik eccentricities. The fact he was probably the only friend the guy have it's telltale really.
He possible have some descent Trickery and Logistic skills since he own a fairly successful coffee shop, after taking over using underhanded tactics, and convert in a lair for Robotnik and knew how to use his badniks.

Niiiice - now our turf is protected enough for the moment at least to turn to other problems next turn.
So we are relatively close to a coast/peninsula and those "7 guys" on the other side of the isthmus on an island - might wanna keep an eye on them in case they try establishing beachheads on our side.
That´s the moneymaker of this turn, folks - some coffee to better concentrate, a sterling recruitment drive for additional Operatives and some apparently fruitful musing about Mr. Tinker - whom I honestly would like to integrate seamlessly into Eggmans core identity, because have a nice side to himself would help us dissuade some people from fighting us and might even open up some beneficial collabs.
It´s *pragmatic* to be seen as a somewhat-approachable man if we are to rule if nothing else, you know?
Neat - we now got a designated legbreaker...definitely something we´ll need moving forward.
As for the trait, it depends on what we want from MetSon:
- some minor "tanking/damage mitigation"
- a strong burst in damage after some prep time
- a smaller damage boost that alloys him to cleave through hordes of enemies, but will damage him
honestly leaning towards Black Shield, but it´s not a strong preference for now.
Always nice to have something to help us out in case someone decides to go after us directly - me likely.
Since I am very unfamiliar with Sega properties as a whole, I got no opinion on our neighboring Kings.
That Ragnite stuff on the other hand could be interesting - both to deny it to those Empire guys and to possibly breach other avenues of science early that might help us out...so maybe we should think about moving into Green Hill to grab or at least *Contest* it.
Iirc, those Rings´ main purpose in Sonic Games is to shield Sonic from damage, so they seem to have some defensive capabilities if nothing else - I´ve also heard about them being a *currency* at times (so they could help out our economy), but that could be pure fanon from what little I know
Nonetheless, those mitigation capabilties alone make them something of interest to us, so we might wanna think about build some Retriever Units for passive ressource gain for now.
Better than nothing - a permanent +5 to combat rolls especially for our Fighter Operatives could be a deciding factor in a pinch, so I´ll take it.
That Robot sounds nasty from name alone, so I am not complaining despite the relatively low roll
Ooooh, with those options we could turn Rusty into a One "Man" Army - perfect to nail down that pesky hedgehog in time...^^

Thank God for that. Last thing we need is him becoming Archie eggman. Archie may be smart, But he was also full of so much rage that he had a mental breakdown while fighting Sonic due to being full of that much rage.
I just imagine that if Dr starline does betray us in this quest, stones just going to be that one guy besides eggman that's just like "I knew he was nothing but trouble for you. And he thinks he's as great as you? The nerve of him."

[ ] Plasma Pulse: Can be used once per battle. Metal skips his turn and next turn he gets a +20 bonus to all combat rolls until the fight is over.
The difference between them is that stone was perfectly fine and happy with being second place to the doctor, that's the main thing that separates him and starline. also explains why starline was the one to bite it, he tried to reach too high and become the new main villain, and that did not work out for him.

As for approaching the Restoration and G.U.N? We may need a few omakes. If we can secure there...cooperation....we can at least focus on Zavok and the Black Arms. If we can AT LEAST get the Space Colony Ark...We'd have a space fortress under our control (I'm hesitant to use the Eclipse Canon).
More bots! More minions! More fortifications! That's what we need!

Hacking is something useful true but the problem it's a contested roll and if lose Zavok will know where we are and we are deep on his territory so it would be realy easy for him to come after us. Before we even entertain going after him we need to find a way for him and the rest of the Deadly Six to not take control of Metal and Rusty and whatever badniks we built. Sure both Eggman and Starline have high Brains but Starline trait make it annoying if activate on this action and we have no idea if Zavok how capable the other Hero Unit will be against us.
As for ragnite, as a power source they are not terrible useful for Eggman since he has better means available thanks to animal battery and Rings and he don't need go around mining for them. He probably going to be more interested with it's natural healing abilities and connection to Valkryias once he find out that tibbit of mystical lore. Although now we know why the Empire is trying to invade Green Hill.
Either way we probably need badniks to built mines but the problem this type of construction it's that attract attention and it's not something we can afford at this stage.
Sorry my friend but per rules of this quest omakes can't stack in a single action while people are welcome to do them, they only there to people having fun than actually be a integral part of the quest to avoid omake ruining the quest. Sometimes failure is fun.
The Death Egg Robot is a giant mech personally piloted by Eggman, in Sonic Forces he even make a mass-produced version that the blasted Zeti also have under they command. While really powerful cost so many Metals it's not worthy doing this time. Thus the low roll, I imagine the higher the roll the more feasible the invention will be to make in our situation.
I would not mind to create some weapons for the Egg Mobile trough since this is much more feasible.
