To be fair - that's not the whole of Black Council. Cowl is still out there, for example.I guess for historical hindsight, I thought we were going to be in a backroom war with the black council from the moment Molly found out about the infiltration. That was pretty much the start of the quest. We told McCoy about it. He started forming the grey council... And then instead of a long arc and conscious work, we solved the problem with the grace of an atomic tornado by swooping in and just blowing the whole conspiracy to hell. All because they panicked over one unfortunate spy among the noobs.
I'm not sure he's part of this conspiracy. But yes, you're right, we haven't caught everyone. Not everyone yet. Well, we'll see. I'm not even sure they're allies. To be fair - that's not the whole of Black Council. Cowl is still out there, for example.
Anyway, does anyone have any better ideas for what to do? I admit to not having the best grasp on Sophia's abilities, and there's probably stuff to do with Lydia maybe.
I'm reluctant to try anything with Molly that might count as disrupting SSC. Turning a god into a guppy is more important right now. It's pressurized so having someone blast it could end poorly as well.To be fair - that's not the whole of Black Council. Cowl is still out there, for example.

I am certain that he isn't part of the current conspiracy, and True Magi are not Black Council, or at least not the whole Black Council. Venn diagram of conspiracies is complicated indeed.I'm not sure he's part of this conspiracy. But yes, you're right, we haven't caught everyone. Not everyone yet. Well, we'll see. Can Sophia do anything?I'm reluctant to try anything with Molly that might count as disrupting SSC. Turning a god into a guppy is more important right now. It's pressurized so having someone blast it could end poorly as well.
She has that storm gift right? So she could try wiping up FFC weather in range of our signature to wash it away in liquid oxygen or something.
More than likely yeah. The Wizards have to worry about using magic directly on the evil fungus. Sophia can teleport and has anti-shaping and she's immune to poison and sickness which is probably relevant here when Adaptation is active.
And if it does get deployed Sophia could do this. She has that storm gift right? So she could try wiping up FFC weather in range of our signature to wash it away in liquid oxygen or something.
Does it count as a spirit, and can Sophia affect those? Anyway, sounds good to me. Anyone up to the task of making it a plan? I am way too busy with work today. And if it does get deployed Sophia could do this.
If the evil fungus gets released like a bomb or something from the pressurized tube Sophia could call a storm to wash and blow it away.
So.. have her teleport in to intercept it with her sword, once it gets released if it doesn't die and goes active Sophia alters the weather to try and get rid of it.. or she could continue trying to sword it to death, I'm not entirely sure what form evil fungus would take here. If it just goes into the air she should try blowing it away with wind and rain after setting it off before it gets to its intended target.
Something like this?Does it count as a spirit, and can Sophia affect those? Anyway, sounds good to me. Anyone up to the task of making it a plan? I am way too busy with work today.
It's a magic-eating plague/fungus/demon made by a wizard in their basement.Edit: I don't see why it'd count as a spirit. Isn't this something they cooked up in a lab?
Yeah, we won't know till it gets released. It should be fine though. We'll see. It's a magic-eating plague/fungus/demon made by a wizard in their basement.
I didn't include this part since having Sophia handle it isn't having the wizards handle it.-[X] Let the wizards handle it, as long as their magic does not directly touch the stuff they should be fine
That is completely right changing it.I didn't include this part since having Sophia handle it isn't having the wizards handle it.
This seems like a pointless addition... Unless directed to why would Molly drop the curse? I guess it doesn't hurt to be specific but this really is one of those things that goes without saying.
The curse takes up our entire turn so specifying it is kind of important at very least to my mind because there are other things we could also be doing. This seems like a pointless addition... Fair enough. In any case the original intent carries through and this is better than letting the wizards handle it alone. Again I don't think Sophia is doing anything right now so best give her orders. If for no other reason than my peace of mind. I would prefer to designate it.
Does his telekinesis even work like that? I was under the impression that he launched it already and momentum is what's carrying it besides. Why cut the capsule instead of using the storm to disrupt Marcus' control?
That would be even better for us. Knocking the killer can into the dirt miles away from the wizards with wind and rain would be much safer than letting it loose.Does his telekinesis even work like that? It's moving already with some force. Can Sophia call up a wind strong enough to do so in an instant before it hits? Maybe I'm just having a hard time picturing the distance involved but it doesn't help that we haven't seen her use the ability yet either. That would be even better for us.
