I know I suggested this beforehand, but they have to accept to work for Wolong and it just delays the problem anyway because the plan is to eventually merge.
Yeah but... we can't merge until Crusade stops their PR campaign

It would give Crusade not only another way to hit out Rep but also let them start taking shots at new dawn too.

And well- there would have to be talks about what's happening before hand buuut if the merge is wanted by both sides then we can just... not officially merge until it's safe too. And plus us needing to have to have a team not being over watched by the fair Lady will have to happen if we start increasing our roster more.

It just... a team of 20 seems less viable to me then 2 teams of 10 ya know?

Of course this is all conjecture until we actually get to the point where we reach 10 heroes. The situation could be 100% different by the time we reach that point.

Not really we can merge with ND I think after all our Promises to them are completed or maybe after Monarch is defeated. PR war with Crusade doesnt really affect the merge since Wulong is all in on our alliance.

I'm not worried about Wulong not being all in

I'm worried what they will do with it. The drain on our Rep might jump with something new Crusade can use against us. We have to be mindful of doing any moves that will cause things like that.

We are, if I remember right, forced to share everything if our Rep reaches 0. I might be remembering wrong, but it's still a valid fear I hope.

No, that's not a thing? If your Rep hits 0, I guess you're soft locked because you won't ever have the stat requirements to able to take missions. So I won't let that happen?

On an unrelated note, whenever I see Mona's code/hero name I can't help but think of a certain Abnormality. (Warning: fandom link, expect ads out the wazzo)

Mona should be wary of identical sextuplets and/or girls named Elijah just to be safe.

That makes me wonder what it would take to create heroes with esoteric or bizarre powers. Keywords are generally pretty flexible, but how would they map to someone with abstract powers like Justiciar? Would we just have to include a write up in the plan to describe such an intended power, get some vaguely adjacent keywords, and if the power is permitted we may see something similar in the final result?

(In case anyone is wondering, the linked Abnormality is a kind of SCP-like monster. It's six brothers that summon their sister Elijah as a monstrous black swan. The monster goes around whacking people with an umbrella that reflects attacks and does sanity draining screeches.)

I had idly wondered how some powers that enhance mobility but aren't directly "Enhanced Speed", "Flight" etc. would map out.

When I was writing DMU, I was wondering how Camoflage's sticky gecko wall climbing would map onto a tag, as would things like wall-running or super jumps.

Then again, Mona, essentially, has Enhanced Speed in a very specific way through her Flight.

More like she's watching them to make sure they don't get hurt, but that's arguing semantics.

Makes one wonder if we could create a 'summon terrifying monster to fight for you' power via the Autonomous Creature Creation, Construct Creation, or Transmutation keywords. And no, I'm not talking about multiple minion creation, I mean one super-powerful juggernaut underling that the hero has limited control over.

I went back to verify what I'm about to say so I don't commit the evil art of false information spreading again-
I wanted to say a few things about the idea behind the Ambrosia designs. First, I wanted to emphasize that the nature of the power being included in a dosage is just as important as the keywords associated with it. I already said:

But you should also consider what the focus of a person's power is. The Red Huntress' power grants her a suite of abilities to hunt down a target. A dosage including her will likely include some sort of targeting element that focus other powers. Memoria's main ability is teleportation; his clairvoyance is mostly to assist that. His power is more likely to focus on movement than remote knowledge. Conversely, Steadfast's ONLY power is to be unkillable. Include him and that's almost certain to show up.
And I remembered right!

In order to make someone like Justiciar you would have focus not on the keywords but the actual powers in play.
The Keywords are useful to figure out the general idea of what might manifest when we administer the dosage of ambrosia. However the real craft comes into reading through the notes we have for each sample.

They all say something! Like for instance my Master of Water idea- I didn't base that on the Keywords but more on how those three DNA samples would combine to form the resulting power.

So if you're curious, have a look at the list of samples we have, maybe search some keywords to narrow your search a bit, and have a look through each of the notes!

...you know that's making me wonder if my Yara Combo idea (which right now is Wild Speaker + Chatroom + Mr. Hunch + Eastwood + Miss Conception) might entail something that makes people smarter through the Wild Speaker/Chatroom part of it.

Hey uh I just realized but Wouldnt chatrooms telepathy help us communicate with RTrain?

Maybe let the entire/Majority of the team talk to it instead of just swan and noelle

It's probably more involved than that; if all that was required was telepathy, communication would have already been attempted with the R-Train.
Theyd need to try and think Rtrain can be reasoned though.
Most people think Rtrain is a lifeless machine not a biomechanical Lifeform.

Plus even if they did notice its psychic aura theyd need to have a reason to start a real converstion with it. Most people dont have any reason to bother the r train or even any use for G9.
