Saw the concern about the extra biomass Auxiliary Forces bring. I would like to say that we have to remember when dealing with Tyranids we're working on planetary scale here. The total biomass of a planet is immense. Even if Crusade Fleet Harrow grew to be absolutely enormous, it would still be a fraction of what biomass the Tyranids would consume if they eat a whole planet. On the other hand, with auxiliary forces we could save a lot more of the Imperium's people and resources as the chapter has other assets to rely on.

Edit: Speaking of other assets. Theoretically our auxiliary forces could take any type of equipment on the battlefield. That means artillery, airforce, armored tanks as well as the regular grunts. It's pretty flexible that way and should cover a lot of bases.

I want to double down on the chapter master trait which is why I made salt the earth. Apothecaries would synergize with it and devastators would help bring firepower when we can't use artillery.

    These guys are cursed. They tried, you tried, but holyhell they were cursed.

    My policy going forward is that the Chaos God's sacred numbers are only 'active' if that specific god is part of the crisis you chose. So naturally you kept rolling sevens and getting Nurgle to intervene.

    Similarly you managed to facetank Behemoth alongside the Ultramarines in what was a truly inspired series of rolls.

    On the plus side, you managed some real heroics and the Ultramarines won't forget what you've done for them. Once again the Imperium is a better place because of you guys. Though you endured some incredible tragedies to make that true.

    I need to sleep on how I'm handling that last part.
