lets do now now sounds good
I think next turn - better to secure help from cousins first as Admiral suggested. Before I get to making a plan, I just want to know ahead of time: do we want to hit the Eyes of the Mutator now or next turn? Because that's gonna change a lot of actions
I say we do it on turn 11 gives us some room to build and seek alliesBefore I get to making a plan, I just want to know ahead of time: do we want to hit the Eyes of the Mutator now or next turn? Because that's gonna change a lot of actions
Next turn, at least. I want the Chapter Serfs at least Drilled, because they need to be better against daemons, teleporting Chaos Marines, and other shit. Before I get to making a plan, I just want to know ahead of time: do we want to hit the Eyes of the Mutator now or next turn? That... won't be possible next turn. We're at 1/3 tics to get the serfs to the next stage of readiness. Each tic happens in the Action Results, which is always after the Deployment Results. So we'd end up only getting Drilled level after the campaign is already over. It's definitely one of the less intuitive parts of this system, it makes it basically impossible to rush any preparations.Next turn, at least. Well the current deployments are primarily support. Before I get to making a plan, I just want to know ahead of time: do we want to hit the Eyes of the Mutator now or next turn? Because that's gonna change a lot of actions
That is why we should do the cleansing on turn 11 give us more room this turn we get them 2/3 and on turn 10 it will be 3/3That... won't be possible next turn. So we'd end up only getting Drilled level after the campaign is already over. Then we use both of our two training actions from Master of the Keep to drill them this turn, and do it next turn.That... won't be possible next turn. Of yerma? We are not ready by miles we need vehicles as well needed equipmentWell the current deployments are primarily support.
I would argue ideal for doing the purge this turn
It is part of the responsibilities of the Master of the Keep@ThunderOwl Is there a reason why having the Chapter Master talk to the Planetary Governor of Luctus isn't an option?
You can do it.@ThunderOwl Is it possible for the Master of the Keep to use both actions on training the Serfs?

One of the most popular topics of discussion amidst both the Chapter Serfs and it's marines is the identity of the next Chapter Champion, now that Claudius Spatha had been interned in a Dreadnought. After all, the first occupant of the position had retired, and a high standard had been marked in the blood of the alien, the mutant and the heretic. After that stellar, if brief, service record there is fertile ground for speculation about the future incumbent of the position and the manner in which it was chosen.
Some among the Braicamian Nowalijki boasted that one of them would be the one that earned the position, for they had been trained in swordplay since the day they had been able to walk. Of course, most of the other marines found these claims dubious at best and laughable at worst, in account of that whole generation not being even full marines.
All of these theories and conjectures circulated about the Fortress-Monastery, and despite regarding the identity of his successor, Claudius Spatha found that he does not care much for it, even if it had been amusing to talk in circles to those who had come to question him, thinking that he might have the decision in his hands. He is, after all, too busy adapting to his new circumstances.
With that issue solved, he's now dealing with another problem, developing a new fighting style appropriate for his new body. He's still proud of the skill he had as an swordsman, and was completely justified in his objective and unbiased opinion, but it is of little use now. For one, there aren´t any Dreadnought-sized swords. The joints of the Contemptor-pattern arms, while more articulate than those of the Castaferrum, are still stifling and rigid when compared to his regular arms. The same applies to the legs, slower and less agile. While the frame is more maneuverable than other types of vehicles, one couldn´t side step, run or dodge with it. The claw in his right arm is useful for sweeping blows and vicious grabs, so there are no use in parries or ripostes, and his left arm had a grav-cannon, a piece of artillery that he had no confidence in using adequately with his lackluster aim. To summarize, he had changed from a quick, agile fighter to a ponderous, towering form.
So he had asked for assistance from the most ponderous and towering brother he had.
"So, how did I do?" He asks Thrax, who had been watching the sparring session he had just finished against the oversized servitor-controlled combat frame that the Techmarines had built to help Sertorius train.
Thrax thinks of a way to soften the blow, and not finding it he says his honest opinion. "If servitors could actually fight, that thing would have pummeled you into submission."
Spatha´s eyes blink, which just results in a tightening of the eyelids as they were already close. "It can't be that bad…"
"I´ve seen drunken, overweight Administratum scribes flail around better than you do." Thrax's blunt state injures his pride more grievously than any foe had ever injured his body. Then again, he had asked for his help, so he would heed his opinion, no matter how much it stung.
"What do you think is the biggest issue?" Inquires Spatha.
"You need to stop thinking like a swordsman." States Thrax. Spatha doesn´t answer, waiting at him to elaborate. "Whenever the servitor got into the defensive, you tried to bypass his guard, when you are now able to just punch through it. And when defending, you keep attempting dodgers or parries, and that only leaves you unbalanced, when you should trust in your armor to keep it protected."
"And what if I´m fighting something that can punch through the armor?" Asks Spatha skeptically
Thrax shrugs. "Doesn´t your Dreadnought have some kind of fancy energy shielding? Anyway, if something can tear through all of that, then you either take it out first, or trust that one of our brothers does so first. As a Dreadnought, you´re going to be the speartip on the assault, and a lynchpin in any defensive line. Now let me set some targets for you to shoot at, your aim is atrocious."
"Like you're one to talk!" Retorts Claudius with a laugh.
Situation in the outskirts of Adapost has worsened. The wildlife are acting with a frenzied fury that all local experts find unnatural. Of the PDF regiments engaged against them, both the Mist Crawlers and the Red Ribbons have been reduced to half strength, and contact with the field command of Boris Bastards has been lost. They request urgent reinforcements lest Adapost is left under siege.
Political situation in Luctus is in upheaval as the Parliament has launched a motion of no-confidence against the current Planetary-Governor and called for election. While all the candidates have been investigated and none of them are sedicious nor treacherous, the level of political turmoil is steadily rising, with multiple ideological splits centered about economic issues and a divide between centralists, federalists and confederates.
Next turn at least, I still want to talk to the Imperial guard, the Angels Crusader, and the knights from Vaeringjar. Before I get to making a plan, I just want to know ahead of time: do we want to hit the Eyes of the Mutator now or next turn? Because that's gonna change a lot of actions
Examining the Contemptor unlocked the model for production and Grav-weaponry for research.@ThunderOwl shouldn't there be new options with the Contemptor?

Gotcha. Any chance we would be able to address the lucidity issue? Also, my understanding is that "homebrew repair" is how Cortus pattern began.![]()
