[X] Plan: With Kid's Gloves
Why would he? Molly's reputation is why the kids are training in Chicago to begin with rather than elsewhere like in canon. He should be aware that we could kill him in ten different ways without issue and shrug off each of his attacks. His expectations as a Wizard who hasn't prepared for a foe like Molly shouldn't be that high. I suppose knowing and knowing are two different things but I don't think it's a big deal. The question here though is whether or not he'd consider not speedblitzing him to be rude.
Doesn't mean he might not want to try. Which is why discussing rules of engagement and expectations seems important even if we don't use my exact approach. Why would he? Want to try what? Again our reputation should temper his expectations. He and the kids are only here right now because of Molly's feats. I imagine something like "rules of engagement" for a duel/spar isn't something you need to specify. It's enough of a common sense thing that it should be brought up in the narrative even if we don't specify it in a vote.Doesn't mean he might not want to try. Fighting us at as close as we can get to full power that won't kill or permanently injure him.
That seems a bit ridiculous. He asked "do you think we should show them what you can do" and wants to use this as an opportunity to test himself. I don't see why he'd want us to go full power just show some of our abilities so he can test his mettle against a stronger opponent and give a demonstration to the kids.Fighting us at as close as we can get to full power that won't kill or permanently injure him.
Edit: Should probably add incapacitating him for longer than a day or two to that list considering how wizards heal
Has Carlos seen us in Combat Action? If he has he might have something prepared for the speed we've had WBS for pretty much the entire Quest so going slow might actually be to our detriment. That seems a bit ridiculous. Edit: I imagine this is a rare opportunity for a Wizard to test their strength against someone stronger without risk of death. Doesn't mean he wants to be speed blitzed.
Don't know. Carlos is relatively young as far as Wizards go so there's a limit to how much we can reasonably expect. If he's handling the pressure with apparent ease though I'd expect Molly to simply increase it in response.Has Carlos seen us in Combat Action? Even if he could he probably wouldn't. His whole thing is that he's out of the game. You can't claim to be out and also empower local gods. So, it occurs to me - when we are making god of Chicago, would McAnally be allowed to contribute by the Rules? He's a citizen of Chicago, after all.
