Although to be honest I doubt any of our crew would be complaining if we set about rescuing all the kids. For all that Tony's a criminal and a mobster I don't think he's going to leave these kids behind with the monsters in charge of this kamp.
Oh yeah, definitely! If we can save all the kids, we totally will!

But. Priorities.

If, on this trip, we can only save a few before we have to leave and return with reinforcements, we're saving our kids.

Oh, we totally are gonna rescue all kids - it´s just that Bart & Lisa feel like the "easier" and more rewarding pick right now

For one, they should have some intel about wtf is even going here, including the enemy´s rough composition, manpower and distribution.

Secondly, there is still the reward I got for "He remains a Simpson Man" to consider where the QMs stated that our grandkids would influence some rolls in some fashion in this Adventure - I for wanna come to the big brawl at the finish line as powerful as possible.

Last but not least, the only definite unscouted locale noted down on that map between us and them is labelled as "Fire" - probably just some campfire that´s boind to be lightly-guarded if at all. The route to the VC (where Michael is being held under scrutiny of some "Seargant", who is probably some kind of heavy-hitter) on the other hand is blocked by "$" as well as "Whitemanns Tower" - both locales that sound very important and therefore *Heavily guarded*.

So yeah, it´s mainly about *priorities* for me

I'm personally hoping for rescuing all the kids, and my thought process is whoever is in time out is most likely to need our help right now. Torn on if I want to after that secure the exit or go see what's going down in arts and crafts.

True

Again, "Time Out" seems to be the Kamp´s boat bridge, which indicates that "troublemakers" are kept *underwater* or something equally heinous - meaning that those kids need help ASAP.

And that´s not even mentioning earlier hints that there´s *something nasty* lurking in the lake itself, which led to people nixing my idea of having ZK stealth-ambush from within the lake in case we needed him. Speaking of that old idea though, we could ressurect it now and have Wilhelm scout the shore for underwater holding cells or something - and if there is something bad lurkind down there as well, now he could retreat far easier (by "simply" going back immediately) than he would have been able to trekking all across the lakebed in my old idea

So yeah, going for Time-Out jsut feels so much more pressing and rewarding.

I am a little worried that, now that Tony knows where Michael is (or at least is supposed to be) and how to get there from where he is now, he might decide to go all "damn the torpedoes!" on us and Liam Neeson his way to the Visitor Center whether we're with him or not. We might be able to convince him to do what Glee suggested and start at the time out area and move towards the entrance/exit to leave with our kids, but given his mood I'm not sure he'd be interested in delaying getting Michael to safety.

Post in social media in favor of Doofania.
DC 60
Result: ???+??=Success…wait…Critical Success!?

Doofenshmirtz has been very active on social media apparently. According to your reports, for several months now he has been sending lots of messages to that green lady about giving him the "Final piece of Doofania". So far Shego had been just ignoring those messages. That changed a while ago when on one occasion she answered back one of the posts, asking for even one reason why she should humor him. After posting that, the pharmacist went silent for a bit, not answering or posting anything, according to other posters, that seemed like a red flag.

No one was expecting when the guy suddenly broke his silence…by posting a musical video! It was named: "10 REASONS WHY I SHOULD HAVE THAT TERRITORY AND LET DOOFANIA PROSPER!". Though the name was excessively wrong, no one can deny it was quite catchy. The song, special effects and choreography used were simply jaw-dropping!

The craziest thing was that people loved it! There's been some big support for this. #LetDoofBeKing has been making big waves. People really liked the promises Doofenshmirtz seemed to make in his song, of which there were some like: #3) All Vending machines will be decommissioned and made so whatever they sold is free to take. And #5) All citizens of Doofania will have free Doonkelberry cake for dessert every day.

So far, Shego hasn't posted anything on social media since the video was released. Who knows what will happen next?

Doofainian immigration
DC 80
Result: ???+??=Success!

While Doofenshmirtz dominates the web, doofainia has also been seen making more traditional forms of publicity, making multiple "immigration" advertisements starting Norm Prime

Little question about those two Doof NAs, guys:

Would it be okay if one those "immigrants" has been a Zootopian vampire fleeing from Bellwethers BS?

Asking because when I write a follow-up to the Candace omake, I´d like it to feature a Zootopian Spotted Hyena as Candace´s tutor in all things "vampire" and wanted to make sure it isn´t too much/big/out there.

Thanks in advance

Sure, don't see why not.

Thamku

Was asking because my Beta voiced concerns that by featuring *more vampires* than Candace and therefore implying the existence of a whole vampire *subculture* might be a bit bigger than my usual fare

Told him that there are already vampires n the different franchises, but still - better safe than sorry...

Kamp Krusty adventure! (Part 5)
After a bit of trepidation, you sigh and nod.

"We should go to the Timeout corner. It's the easiest route." You decide.

"Oh yes, I am sure your grandkids being there has nothing to do with it…" Fat Tony scowled.

You frown, but you can't really blame him for being annoyed.

"We'll save Micheal, Tony. You have my word." You assured. He still scowled, but that seemed to be enough to placate him, for now at least.

Wilhelm starts to go through the window again, and you and Tony immediately hiss at him to just go through the damn door.

At least you can both agree to never wanting to see that trick repeated.

With that, you begin stealthily making your way towards The Time Out Corner. It was a decent trek, but not too bad.

After a bit, you hear something and dive down to hide.

Contested Stealth Roll!

1d100 + 16 (ABE INTRIGUE) + 23 (FAT TONY INTRIGUE) = 48 vs. 1d100 + 5 = 9

SUCCESS!

The guards squint at where you had been standing for a few seconds before shrugging and continuing on. You peek your head up from the ground.

"...Where did they find these smhucks?" Tony deadpanned. You shrug. Hey, made your lives easier.

You continue onwards. After a bit, you arrive at the time out area.

You suddenly get a bad feeling…

???

1d100 + 16 (ABE INTRIGUE) + 23 (FAT TONY INTRIGUE) = 89

SUCCESS!

Whatever it was, the feeling passes. You swear you heard a brief splash and saw a green scaley head submerge in the water… but that was ridiculous... right?

You didn't want to find out.

Crippler and Badger scout ahead before you can stop them. They sniff the air before scratching at a door. You thankfully shush them before the scratching gets too loud.

You take a deep breath and brace yourself. You weren't sure what you were going to see, but based on everything else, you knew you wouldn't like it. It almost made you too scared to open that door. But you had to. For your family.

You open it.

You almost go blind from shock And rage.

Inside were Indeed your grandkids. Lisa, despite her usual confidence, was shivering and holding onto Bart. He was keeping a brave face, presumably for her sake, but you could tell he wasn't exactly happy with the conditions himself. And you couldn't blame him. The closet they were in was small, only barely enough room for the two of them. There were nails sticking out of the door, clearly having been inches from them while it had been closed. Even the floor they were standing on was covered in dust and filth.

Bart seemed ready to fight whoever opened the door, holding Lisa protectively…. Before he realized who it was.

"Grandpa?" He blinked slowly, shocked. But then he smiled, pointing you out to Lisa and the two of them ran up and embraced you. You hugged back, as if they would fade away if you let them go.

"I knew you would figure it out! …Ok, uh, I expected you to call the police or something first, but I ain't complaining." Bart admitted.

"I wouldn't trust your safety to those knuckleheads." You growled.

Wilhelm sniffled at the touching display, and even Tony's scowl softened. Just a bit.

You reluctantly let your grandkids go and stared at their necks.

"....What are those?" You asked, rage and surprise entering your tone. You could guess, but you hoped you were wrong.

"S-Shock collars." Lisa confirmed your suspicions. The poor lass seemed uncharacteristically terrified as she sniffled, subconsciously tugging at it.

"Why!?" You sputtered. This place was clearly awful, but even by those standards that was such an evil, EVIL thing to do to kids you couldn't wrap your head around it.

"Bootlegging mumbo jumbo, 'thought it'd make us work faster. This place bites." Bart sighed. You note the severe under reaction, but his lip is quivering. It's obvious he is trying to put on a brave face. You also note with a slight growl how his neck is more notably blistered than Lisa. This was ridiculous! All this just for some bootlegging enterprise!?

"Understatement of the century…" Fat Tony's scowl came back full force. Bart and Lisa slowly turned to him and Wilhelm. Wilhelm gave an awkward little nod and wave. They turned their gaze back to you.

"...Why's Fat Tony here?" Bart asked. "And what happened to that other guy? He looks awful." Lisa asked, looking pale and obviously seeming particularly uncomfortable at the second one. She thankfully didn't scream, but it's very obvious based on her horrified expression she wants to. Bart seemed a little intrigued at least as he eyed Wilhelm with clear fascination.

"It's a long story. Kids, how do we get these off of you?" You steer things back on topic.

"The director has a key. Mr. Black Heart." Bart nodded.

"Mr. Black." Lisa corrected.

"I know what I said." Bart shrugged.

You squinted. The Kids were obviously coming along. But with those collars on them, they were at Great risk if someone saw them out of the closet before things finished up. At the same time, you had made your promise to Tony to save Micheal. He was being patient so far, but there was no telling how long that would last, especially since it was most likely Micheal also had a shock collar on. The Arts and Crafts center could also hold some valuable information…

Decisions, decisions….

Where do you go?

(Note: Gleeman's bonus from his Bart and Lisa Omake will be added to future rolls)

Bart Simpson and Lisa Simpson have joined the Party!

  • Martial: 5 (Bart isn't much of a fighter, aside from being only a child he isn't particularly strong in the physique department.)

  • Diplo: 14 (When Bart isn't pranking someone, he can be a very earnest person, striking conversation with people easily and making friends.)

  • Stewardship: 5 (Bart prefers to spend his time playing videogames with Millhouse that do anything administrative related)

  • Intrigue: 24 (Bart at his young age has accomplished some impressive sleuth feats. His pranks and lying skills are something way out of the league any kid should be able to.)

  • Learning 8 (Bart sucks in regards to school matters, he has gotten more F's that should be feasible possible.)

  • Traits:
  • Prankster Extraordinaire: Planning pranks is Bart's Bread and butter, he can come with 10 different ways to prank someone in less than 5 minutes. This gives him +15 to rolls when doing pranks, and making sure he isn't caught.

  • El Barto: Bart's ingenuity and wit allows him to apply his skill at pranks into almost anything he sets his mind to. If there's a chance to do so of course. This gives Bart the chance to apply half his intrigue score to non-Intrigue rolls, as Bart doesn't accomplish things the normal way.

  • Big Brother instincts: Even if he doesn't have the best relationship with the rest of his family, Bart cares deeply for them, willing to go the extra mile to assist them. On adventures, when another family member is in some sort of danger, Bart rolls with a +10 bonus to help them in any way he can.

  • Santa's Little helper: The family dog. Bart cares deeply for him and Santa is more than willing to assist him. This gives +5 bonus to intrigue when tracking or looking for someone/something. (CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE)

  • Martial: 7 (Lisa may be a kid, but has shown some backbone and will to fight back if threatened. Just… don't expect much from an 8 year old girl.)

  • Diplomacy: 23 (Lisa has shown to be a very charismatic girl. She has managed to convince crowds of people several times of urgent or important topics.)

  • Stewardship: 18 (Your granddaughter shows some potential as a leader, being able to plan and organize good enough groups of people.)

  • Intrigue: 11 (Lisa is sharp of mind and her wit has allowed her to fool easily some people.)

  • Learning: 26 (At the young age of 8, Lisa has an IQ of 159, She shows a huge capacity to learn of anything she has her mind on. Her mind will only keep growing as time goes by and she keeps studying.)

  • Traits:
  • Musical Prowess: +15 bonus to any music related roll.

  • Genius in the making: Lisa's mind Is like a dry sponge, continuously absorbing any new information that grabs her attention. When Lisa gets a Critical success on a Learning, Stewardship or Diplomacy National Action she was assigned to, a d5 dice will be rolled. On a 1-3 nothing happens, on a 4 Lisa will get a trait relevant to the action/topic she had to accomplish, on a 5, she gets a +1 to the relevant stat.

  • Prideful Jealousy: Lisa is used to be the smartest person in her family and sometimes she doesn't take too well when that position is challenged. She tries to do anything to restore the balance, sometimes to really negative effects. When she is assigned to a national action with someone with a Learning stat higher than her, she raises the critical failure threshold of the action by a dc of 10.

[x] Visitor center

I know that I said I wanted to do a clean sweep through the camp first, but I got a sinking feeling that FT is running outta patience for our "lollygagging" a bit, which is entirely understandable

So *Visitor Center* it is
