Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

You guys can do up to three if you like, she did get the maximum number of hounds by freeing the prisoners.
Ok then. Let's go with the classics, I think

[X] Plan Classic Trio
-[X} Frontliner
--[X] Tides of Fortune (5 pts.)
--[X] Alacrity (4 pts.)
-[X] Scout
--[X] Blending (1 pt.)
--[X] Earthbond (2 pts.)
--[X] Nightsight (1 pts.)
--[X] Soul Sense (2 pts.)
--[X] Tunneling (3 pts.)
-[X] Supporter
--[X] Mana Gift (3 pts.)
--[X] Healing Lick (6 pts.)

Ok, so, reasoning: armor and soak lethal / aggravated are too expensive. We could buy them, but they would pretty much take all the points. So, instead I'm going to be relying on Molly's kingdom to be able to provide spirit dog (power)armor. For the moment, I'll assume that Mana Gift allows to share mana between the members of the pack also ( @DragonParadox please confirm or deny). This way we have a frontliner who can do three things at a time - attack, deflect harm, and bad luck defenses of the opponent + a scout to locate the targets + a supporter to provide healing and mana to the fellow hounds.

Agreed, especially because we'd also need to buy up Stamina considerably for the ability to soak agg to even matter. 2 dice just isn't going to cut it, so they're pretty much dependant on spending Mana for shielding anyway.

  1. Keep in mind you also have 30 XP to spend from the charm.
  2. Yes, mana gift allows them to share mana freely at 1 to 1

[]Aww! (1-4 pts.)
Cuteness excuses a multitude of sins. In your case, you're so adorable that people tend to give you more slack than your activities deserve. Every point in this Advantage adds one die to the Social rolls you make based upon endearing yourself to someone through your sheer cuteness. This power works in any form, but it grants only half of the usual bonus (rounded up) when you're in a human guise.
Doggos already enjoy an innate advantage when it comes to influencing Humans (or they should, at least, mechanics be damned). Imagine the effects they could have with this ability maxed out.

It's only 2007, so the age of sharing pet videos hasn't truly begun...

Is this one plan for all three or can each of the dogs have their own xp plan?

They each have their own plan, it is their own application of the charm

Ah, yeah. That's for abilities and attributes, correct? And if I recall correctly Tiffany is providing boosts for the dogs already. Ok. I can work with that.

She can enhance them though she is limited by her faith budget, no more than 3 rolls per day.

We don't know how good that would be, though. Wouldn't it make more sense to just go maximum armor for sure for the frontline and leave debuffing to scout or support? What would your scout even do in a battle situation?

Ok, so this works like this:
Frontliners are, obviously, in the front. We'll get them armor (+2 or +3 soak dice depending on what we can get), and they get 2 actions per turn by using a willpower point. One for attack, the other for Tides of Fortune or Deflect Harm. They enhance their attacks with Rage points. They have primary support from Supporter dogs, which refill their mana pools, heal them as needed with Healing Lick, and deflect harm from them. Scouts, well, scout, provide tunneling behind enemy lines, spot troubles as needed, and backstab people with satchel charges. Basically, they are rogues of the party. Meant to be felt, but not seen.

We don't know how good that would be, though. Wouldn't it make more sense to just go maximum armor for sure for the frontline and leave debuffing to scout or support? What would your scout even do in a battle situation?
Spot enemies and sneak around. Drop satchel charges behind enemy lines. Dig tunnels for other dogs to follow. We should be able to give them 2 point armor without movement restrictions, I think. They are trackers and spotters.

As to armor - Deflect Harm + Tides of Fortune provide much better defense than soak. Yes, soak is cheaper, but that's what support dogs are for. My plan is meant for swarm tactics, the dogs shouldn't be fighting by themselves.

- Be Nicodemus
- Second chance at (fake) Shroud of Turin shenanigans!
- Runs into Molly, gets pimp slapped
- All of a sudden something gets pulled out of you
- Is that Anduriel
- Why is Anduriel out there and also screaming in your head
Yes. Exactly that.

Though I'd want to kill Nicodemus in the process because he's a bastard, and as Anduriel's one true love* losing him at the same time as rising!Andy's creation would hurt him like few other things we could do to one of the Fallen.

* yes really. There's a WoJ for it.

DtF Demons can technically eat other demons for power.

Of course, Lasciel would be an energy-field immensely larger than Lash's head, so it's not a good idea, but a theoretically workable one.

On the other hand, having the actual power of an Angel, rather than being something new, might make Lash bound to the angel/fallen rules, whereas she is free from them right now.
This would depend, I think, on whether Tiffany counts as mortal when using the grace. MIchael, when Uriel lent him his, still counted as mortal and could break the rules with no issue (well, no issue for himself, Uriel would have Fallen if Michael misused it). If Tiffany counts as mortal-adjacent enough and we pull off grand theft grace, rules might not bind her. She won't be able to fully use it, I think, but it would be a big boost. And the ultimate insult.

Not, that is a normal EXvsWoD dragonblooded charm, a five dot one, but a normal charm.
This one, right?
Through the most careful cultivation of her Essence,
the Dragon-Blooded awakens the seed of the
other four elements within her soul.
System: By spending ten minutes in absolute meditation
and spending 1 Essence, the Dragon-Blooded
may change her Aspect to that of a different element
for 24 hours. She exchanges her anima power for that
of her new Aspect, adjusts her Aspect affinity accordingly,
and all of her Charms treat her as though her
assumed Aspect was her native one. The 1-dot "Excellence"
Charms are a special case; while wearing an
assumed Aspect, these grant her temporary access to
any Ability boosts her new Aspect ought to confer, but
she doesn't lose access to any Abilities her native Aspect
should grant her.

Yep, that one. He switched from Wood to Earth to be more comfortable in this place with a lot of stone, but not much in the way of life.

The lack of a tank specialization is a bit sad, but I wouldn't really want to sacrifice one of the three suggested ones for it, so it's ok.
Besides it should be possible to craft armor for them in the future.

Doggy power armor should be a thing, yeah. Also, while not a normal tank, deflect harm + good luck charm + bad luck curse provide a lot of protection, hopefully.

@DragonParadox : With current discussion I don't think that we are going to get armor, but for the sake of curiosity how would armor appear on these dogs? Thick hides that is covered by their fur so basically invisible or thick matted fur? Or maybe something else. Just wondering if it would compromise their ability to pretend to be normal dogs.

Depends on how thick you go
1 point - Shaggy fur
2 points - Really shaggy fur, think woolly mammoth
3 points - The above plus bone plates to cover their vitals
4 points - Those plates now look metallic the same color as Lydia's anima
5 points - They look like they have been poured of liquid metal

Deathless Beast Fetter: Each time the sun crosses the horizon, hound may choose to walk in flesh or spirit, living being or a ghostly spy.
So what are the Dogs able to do in spirit form? Obviously they can't do physical bites, but can the deflect harm, share mana and bite ghosts?

Just feel that the scout build should be optimized for spirit form. Does blending even help in spirit form?
