Turn 4 (April 1991)
Turn 4 (April 1991):

The Office was small. But considering what you had previously, it was an improvement. "I have a small team that can assist me with my studies of the Digital world?"

"Most of them don't have your expertise, nor are they entirely under your control, but mine," Aramaki stated as he puffed smoke from his cigarette before putting it away. "As this organization has only just begun, with a limited budget and scope, we're limited on resources I can spare for you. But I will spare as much as I can, given the…" He paused and shook his head. "Increasingly interesting situation we find ourselves in."

You snorted, not in dismissal but in laughter. "I'm taking this entire digital world seriously because it could negatively affect the world to give to my children."

He walked to the door, and Yamaki stood up. "Sir."

You turned towards Yamaki. "Well, what now?" he asked.

"We get to work."

[]The Minister: The Minister of Intelligence is someone you are going to be working with very closely. So time to meet him. DC: 20

[]Talk to the Monster Makers (Part 2): The Wild Bunch, the Monster Makers, are your old friends from college who created the Digimon, and maybe you can see what their insights are. DC: 20

[]The Legal Way of Finding Information: You are going to talk to Bandi, and see if they will willingly give information to you. DC: ???

Martial:

[]An Agent Material: "Dr. Wong, THis training is not for you to be an agent. This training is for you to no longer be a target, and that of your family." DC: ??

[]The Wonders of Technology: You look at the news, and see that there is news. News of cybernetic enhancements, giant robots… and a new world slowly being created. The Worst part was, no one was paying attention. DC: ???

[]The Illegal Way of Getting Information: You are going to hack into Bandi's computers, and see what it can tell you. DC: ???

[]The Cards and Blue Cards: You look at the old code and realize something… The Cards that Namco was creating were using… old code that you created, the basis of the Monsters to evolve. Meaning if you modified it, you could… make a super Card that could force digivolution. It was a gamble, and you didn't know if the code was even stable enough. But you had to try, for old-time sake. DC: ???

AN: Enjoy and vote in plan format please. Also, Write-ins for actions are now available, but are subject to my approval.

[]The World is Turning: You need to keep up with the hustle and bustle of the international community. Maybe it can help you get trends or something. DC: 50 (Unlocks the Rumor Mill)
Didn't we do this last Turn?

[]Who Watches the Digital… Watchmen?: You think that someone is watching you. And honestly, that is worrying, you haven't done anything that would warrant it yet. DC: 30
I'm pretty sure getting branded a cyberterrorist would warrant being watched by more than a few people.

They could still do that as successor city-states fighting for the name of Atlantis
"It fits us better!"
"No it fits us better!"
"You shitheads don't even know what Atlantis means!"
"I know it better then damp inbreds!"
"You take that back you anorexic walruses!"

"Damn atlanteans! They ruined Atlantis!!"

I think fixing the social quagmire we've got ourselves stuck in is more important.

Are we going to be ableto obtain Hero Units after improving public relations? Asking, vecause as it is, I doubt many would want to work - willingly, that is - for a terrorist.
Yes and no.

Yes you will gain hero units.

no it won't be because you cleared your name, and more the fact that you are the head of a government research agency, and many people are willing to look past the mud slinging from the international press, esspcially since you played whistleblower.

Ah, reusing old code. This could potentially cause complications. After all, code can be downright arcane even to their makers sometimes.:rofl:

Which….
Is par the course as in Digimon tamers, someone accidentally created a Digimon thanks to the blue card.

Yep.

But hey. look at the bright side, at least we can't do something incredibly stupid in a crit fail... right?
yes and no.

That is all I will say.

The worst thing is, we have what is probably a corporation building what is functionally a video game with our code as a foundation. Code that was meant to form the backbone of a world simulation.

So…

Any bets on how things can get weird there?:V

Also, doesn't that detail sound like something from a certain movie?

Since we are primarily dealing with computers and looking at the current year, is there a chance we can get Romke Jan Bernhard Sloot and his invention when he unveils it?
Get it?

No. As that would currently be impossible.

Prevent it from being lost when he suddenly dies or other crazy Digimon shenanigans?

Oh most certainly.

Anything interesting about how the Magecraft users are going?
Like what their lives are like or how the public sees them
depends on where they live

Most, like in America and britian, are just normalish people that carry on with their lives.

in Japan, china, and other nations, it's far more complicated.

Elaborate, I thirst for KNOWLEDGE

Pretty please
For Britain and The UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, a lot of fiction tends to make the fantastical side of THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and Britain, a copy of their real life counterparts. Melting pot of cultures being absorbed into THE UNITED STATES OF AMERiCA. Britain magic world is very British. Other nations get "There are dragons here" treatment, among other things, Japan is most noticeable for the vast variety of supernatural, and magical depth they got in media. They got a boarding school of ninja in the modern day (Kim Possible), they got magical girls (lots of different manga/anime), They got magic police from some other manga (Bleach, and many others), they got super powered high school people (Medaka Box), they got demon summoners (Beelzebub), they got Rom Com events, they got the isekai. Japan alone has a lot of variety and quantity in what they got for stuff from media.

Japan is about to get a whole fucking ministry office for the magical bullshit that is to occur.

There's a few things wrong with that. In the Harry Potter verse I think it's Japan that has one magic school for all of Asia, and that the British Ministry of Magic is not the Governing Body of all magic in the world for the wizards. There should be no need for Britain to stick it's nose into things because there's already a internal governing body for things there.

So, Jake the American Dragon related question, do you have a specific character in mind for the Dragon from the Dragon Council that would cover Japan?
