Hmm looks like we're going to want to maybe try and do a mission to Ubraka to save what few lives we can before it falls or start trying to convert and support Neumidia cause we won't want the Orks to be attacking our system from both sides. At least for plans in the near future that feels like we should be aiming for.

We can also do single system jumps apparently even without a Navigator, but getting a full three ship squadron of Aries-classes should put us up to "Can at least defend our own borders while investigating our immediate environs" level. Heavy Industry should also synergize with our other options.
And increasing Void Industry should also be pretty good for us. Everytime we upgrade that we get more ships for our SDF
Now, that creates some tension. We could get one slightly better version of a ship with one more DP, or two slightly worse versions of a ship with 3 DP.
Not worth it, especially since increasing our Heavy Industry and Void Industry should give us more DP.

Also, while I will support this turn's plan, I will say next we should get ready to make more infantry units. I'm thinking Mechanized Demolitions and/or a Medium Ogryn unit before the Orkz get here.

Maybe. Maybe not, and you merely gave your Choirs the ability to chuck short-lived black holes at people like skittles. Who could know?
Tbf getting the ability to fling black holes at people would be a worthy trade I think, especially seeing as how that could solve a whole lot of military problems (and if we get a way to harvest hawking eaditation could serve an easy way to get power!)

I think the imperials are still in the droma system and we don't know if they are going to ignore us or contact us?

Chances are there may be a handful of true Imperials in the system, but very very few hopefully in no position to direct a crusade against us.

Star Child willing, they're a banding the system for good and won't be back for another century when some upstart in the Adminstortium launches a crusade to "take the system back from those deviant heretics and their false god" or some drivel like that.

Wonder if the Lion's woken up yet, and whether he and Rowboat have reunited yet, hopefully they won't die with Terra when Big E eventually kicks the bucket.

124.M42 - ABANDONED
The Cult Imperialis on Droma III does not die with a whimper when the Candle Keepers set out to replace it with the Droman Creed.

It dies like water within a sun. One moment there.

The next...

Gone.

Because they had been abandoned.

Abandoned.

The people of Droma III held faith; they offered the fish and metals, the bodies and coin demanded by the Imperium on Tithing Day, where lavish feasts and celebrations were held to thank the God-Emperor for His protection, and never once had they strayed from the path and the duty set out for them.

And what had that loyalty bought them?

Abandonment.

The God-Emperor had turned his benevolent gaze from them, and the people despaired. They cried out within their souls for the reason, for purpose, for cause, and for comfort amidst a galaxy that now shone darker than ever before.

But.

Before Immaterial Claws could reach out and pluck on strings and soul...

A Newborn Star shone upon the people of Droma III with its unborn brilliance, and the heralds that proclaimed the name of the Star Child rose from hiding and from the nestled churches and temples where they had preached. People marched in processions for a new creed, a new path, a new truth that was old and yet young. Where before fanatics hid weapons and equipment and prepared for that day they would be called upon to rise against the priests and the nobles...they now put down the gun and the grenade and picked up candles to march in prayer and vigil.

All across Droma III, fleets shone with the light of a thousand small flames, the Warp infused with the zeal of new converts, and the iron conviction of old believers rekindled anew with every person that joined their band.

Some resisted this mass conversion. Most were ignored and would die forgotten. Others tried to resist and were judged accordingly. A few fought. Those died.

A year passed, then two, then three...and Droma III hosted the Prophet of the Star Child upon its waters and shores, millions seeking to see him in person as hundreds of millions more listened to the transmissions of his speeches through the Vox.

And four years after the Imperium had turned away from their faithful loyalists, the planet knelt, offering fealty, loyalty, and faithful service to the Star Child as one.

And the Candle Keepers:
[] Raised Them As Equals

United we Stand, Divided we Fall.
(Start a Government Crisis to resolve the growth of your government and how future assimilations will be conducted.
All future planets/systems will be incorporated and affect the whole of the Candle Keepers as they are brought up to an acceptable standard.
+2 Food Production, -1 Civilian Infrastructure, -2 Heavy Industry, +1 Void Industry, -1 Medical Services, +1 Military Industry.
Assimilating Droma III will take 4 Actions.)

[] Accepted In Humility
Some are more equal in the task of building a better future than others.
(Droma III (and all future systems) becomes a vassal state, akin to the Kil'drabi Protectorate, owing fealty and tribute for protection and aid.
You do not directly affect planetary happenings but can set general Agendas to boost your territories.)

[X] Raised Them As Equals

This is going to necessitate several turns of just focusing on it, but! As far as it goes, I think we'll need to take Medical Services, Heavy Industry, and Assimilate Droma next turn, and then another Heavy Industry, a Civilian Industry, and more Assimilation, etc etc. The first goal is basically getting back to where we are on Industry but on a bigger scale... and then we can expand the army knowing we have a powerhouse.
