For now it says, with the implication that we'll be running into shortages soon. Right now, that is the more pressing matter and I don't want to risk this taking more time that we thought by putting it off to the last minute.
@HeroCooky are we gonna be having cooper shortages next turn?

Sure coppper a issue and one we should address I think the far more pressing matter is what the update talks about, the problem is the leading plan after being told that we have an exatled level lord of change messing with us, a slannesh demon that in ever part of the station and the starchild protection/commucation lost for us the plan choose to do nothing to strengthen our chaos protection if at least got [] [Faith] Consecrate the Assembly-Churches I'd be far more okay with it winning but it does not

come on people the updoot made abundantly clear that our faith proetction is greatky weakened and we have some mega powerful threats on our ass and the updoot mentioned nothing about copper. At least approval voot for Plan: Stabilizing Bases and Copper like I am that gets Consecrate the Assembly-Churches so the greater demon of tzneeth and slannesh do not fuck us over in some way

@HeroCooky have the cooks of the station done the unthinkable and tried to add salt to there food?
Worse. Someone found out that hot chocolate will cool off and can be applied to fruits.

Not next turn, but you would officially be notified that you needed to find some if you didn't do so this turn.

Oh, and as a FYI regarding the Slaaneshi Daemon; it's the one that got pulped via Lamenter Dreadnought in the beginning.

Not that big risk. We have been told that MAJOR BAD JUJU HAPPENING NOW this turn. That MUST be dealt with. The copper can wait a turn. See:

Now that I think about it I wonder if it will make a difference if we choose to do [Psykana] Conduct a Melody(Unity) on the same turn as [Psykana] Soothe and Commune with the Psykana Experiments?

Okay so we do not have a massive coppper problem that we need to deal with now instead let us focus on dealing with on shoring up our Starchild actions to shore up our protection against chaos cause we have
And a Slaaneshi Soul Grinder desperate to escape the bindings of the contract forced upon them by Vashtorr, its essence clinging onto that station with amusing tenacity.
a SOUL GRINDER vibing on the station
A pleasure slave walking as a magician discovering magic from first principles.
A priest stumbles on his now-dark path with no Deity to illuminate it for him into dusk.
leader of choir and our Prohet lost and amiss with the starchild not being able to guide them anyway
and last but not least a Lord of Change!
And those were but the least of the strings to pull here!
who is gleefull about how many shengains they are gonna be able to get up to in our systems
The Lord of Change grinned malevolently, settling in above the three stars' reflection in the Warp.
and is explicitly setting up shop over our systems pls vote for damage control so we can mitigate the mangtiude of the threat we face

I'm reminded about how much I hate the metaphysics of 40K and how they're built from the ground up to justify Everything Just Being The Worst.

Demigod plotters with interstellar reach and scope able to invisibly manipulate probability from behind an unassailable veil and ruining shit for grins and giggles, for instance, being a chief example here.

To make something literal here: there are no physical Daemons on your station, only the immaterial part trying to avoid paying their dues to Vashtorr. The Slaaneshi Soul Grinder got obliterated, and not in the fun way. ...what am I writing. It's a Slaaneshi Daemon, of course it got off on being pulped into a fine soup via Space Marine Dreadnought.

While I don't like to do this before calling the vote, I would like to point out that the Lord of Change fucked with a system via:
1. Making a worker a bit careless for a second.
2. Giving an Officer slightly more anxiety.
3. And temporaly displaced a singular bullet.

Tzeentch Daemons work around the cascading ripples of their schemes. The longer they fuck around the more people will find out. And the one who just roosted above the Droma system has 0 local support in cultists, allied corruption, or on-going schemes.

This wasn't the "Get Corrupted!" Update. This was the "You have no protection and got an STD. Try to get rid of it before the Orks get rid of you." Update.

Sorry if it comes out like I'm being a debbie downer, I'm just on a bit of a low ebb emotionally lately, and so little things tend to frustrate me especially much as a result. Also, you know, the memes where master plotters can do anything they want taking priority over good sense.

Just to clarify. I like this quest a lot, don't take my complaining as an attack on you or the story, it's just me bemoaning the mountain of shit we need to climb while I'm getting my gloves on and a clothespin for my nose.

I mean yah which I am very glad you did so we can respond to it by getting the protection we need to prevent it/cure it like Consecrate the Assembly-Churches but we aren't doing for some reason

Too many people want Copper more than safety for some reason, despite the confirmation that the need isn't critical yet as long as we get it next turn.

Saving it to next turn sounds like a really good way for it to get to something even more critical than a slight vulnerability. Like, saving it to the last moment strikes me as really silly, to say the least.

Like, getting the basic materials of industry will help with fighting the Orks too, lol. In fact more than going all-in on spiritual defenses when Orks when they do arrive are going to be a PHYSICAL threat as well.

We've got a Lord of Change actively meddling with our shit, and those are apparently just the least of the threads he's going to start yanking. I imagine the planet's a lot more vulnerable simply because humans are absolute chaos bait by default apparently, while we at least have passive resistance working in our favor.

But I'm willing to commit to Copper next turn come hell or high water. But I at least want to try and disarm the most obvious problems--I hope our Protection Melody at least protects our Psykers a bit.

I am as well too, if it wasn't for the lord of change I'd def been voting for basic services this turn. Also I'll point out we got 60-70 years until the orks arrive.

The big thing is that Orks are coming, and we're holding off on critical industry because we're letting ourselves get spooked.

It's almost frustrating how easily the QM can just make people think we're all about to die by having a Lord of Change explicitly only able to do very minor things that have an outsized impact (because they know how to do leverage) but aren't actually, "We're even close to doomed."
