You'd need to develop the following Psykana: Humanity, Song, Protection, The Sun, The Home, and Fire.

6 Psykana.
On one Hand thats a lot. 1.5 turns of doing nothing but conducting melodies.
On the other hand, If you expect to also have other combos and uses... That is surprisingly humane.
What would be better at navigating, a psyker armed with those 6 or a void Abacus?
Also: what songs would it be to have offbrand astropath?

And the Void Abacus would win out, if only barely. As long as you ignore the fact that you get psykers semi-regularly while a VA needs ro be created with an Action.
And all 6 Psykana would be needed to have an offbrand astropath. The Song portion is to tie it all together. Translated, the Psykana would be (in this instance): The people being transported, the uniting force, the shield against Chaos, the destination, the starting point, and the weapon to pierce through obstacles.
Ok, with that said, here's my proposal for the next plan if nothing crazy happens

[] [Military] Raise A Specialized Medium Infantry Regiment (Assault)
[] [Psykana] Hunt down the remaining Psykana Experiments
While we would be putting off standardizing the whole Motive Force debate, we need men to kill the monsters and I think a Melody of Fire could help purging that scum.

So psyker telephones and psyker Navigators use the same
And some of the songs we want anyway, like proctection & home. Or fire for purging.
Starting to believe Void Abacus is a bad pick if we don't insist on trading before we can finish the Song collection for offbrand navigators.

Probably, but Fire puts us down the path of making our own version of Navigators. Lot of things you can attribute to Fire, and burning shit is definitely one of them.

The military did say they wanted at least two units, and we've had those damnable critters on board for too long for my tastes.

Is there any impact of worshipping Starchild upon worshipper similar way as Chaos Gods? There should be increase of skills in particular aspects favored by the God.

I mean, to be honest, I'd rather increase Tech Training or, if Spiced Chocolate wins, take a Food Industry option.
Void Abacus is 1 AP per ship we want equipped with it.
It can be replaced by psyker (no per-ship-cost) If we get 6 specific Psykana melodies (1 AP each, may also have different uses besides part of Void Abacus replacement).
