Yeah, I think devils and white mask would be the most fun, probably insidia for the cleverness and plots. As for homeworld… I think Naklis might be the most fun to play with? Would let us do a really interesting urban/Wyld PI type deal, might also stabilize things a bit, plus the whole mask thing could lean on the themes of K6BD, forge a key, and lock the gates.

It does seem like we need more Lunar tech and things to strengthen against chaos

if we do devil I def think we should take this option the cause the white mask devils are the fucking best devils of the whole bunch

Insidia is the origin of Tzeentch; we saw some of them in the Polar Tower and I thought their melodrama was hilarious. Hedon is Slaanesh, and I think a Devil from them would also be really fun to follow.

Don't have especially strong feelings for homeworld; went with Mongus and Meeklak since gas giants are cool, and we haven't seen much of them in the narration yet.

These are what I'm most conflicted between. Being a White-Mask gives us the most freedom to do things, but a Wonderpark Devil just fits so well with the Directorate that I want to see it happen, and a librarian is just cool on the face of it.

[X] [BACKGROUND] Librarian: The knowledge-keepers of the Directorate were powerful indeed, having access to both reams of information sourced from the netscape, as well as access to grimoires willed to them by many heir-less magicians and the ability to peruse the Forbidden Sections, places in libraries where the tomes and lore too dangerous to give to the untrained and unprepared but too valuable or useful to destroy or seal in secret vaults were held.

I'm imagining a half-reformed Insidia Devil that couldn't shake it's desire to accrue knowledge, so it requested an assignment at the library. Or a Bellum devil that's really angry about being assigned to a place that teaches warpcraft.

quick question @The Bird if you don't mind me asking- do Devils manifest as Daemons with masks over their faces, or do they take on a form of their own that matches that of the directorate's beliefs (I.E. similar to an antianima/spirit?)
 
3 people voted wrong so the tally has their votes under "default", but currently [SPECIES] is tied between Devil (Hedon) and Tekket at 6, with Devil (Insidia) behind by 1 vote. [HOME] is tied between Teklia and Naklis at 7 votes each, and White-Mask is far ahead in [BACKGROUND] at 11 votes (Librarian is 2nd place at 7 votes).
