[X] Kid Win has found his specialty and he wants to show off. Let's go see the results.

Are you winning Kid?

Okay so with nineteen votes, we have an overwhelming majority for Zveri - Krestnyy Khod. I think I can safely close the vote a little in advance.
And that will allow me to talk about it. Apart from the wiki page for it and for Ivan, I couldn't find anything else about it.
First, the size, Mountain as a descriptor is very cute but it's not very helpful. In one image we can see that it's four or five times (more?) taller than some tree (pine?) but again that's not much help.
There is one image that shows the Mammoth wrestling with a golem, and the wiki page for that golem says that it reaches 1000 meters in height at its tallest. Can I use that? Did anyone get more info? How come I can't find any image/video of the manga/anime?

Next, I'm a little more confident with duration but I'll still like your opinion. I think 3 minutes is fair, it's short but enough to still deal massive damage even before taking into account the laser/lightning blast thing it can do. Using that attack would end the noble phantasm regardless of the remaining duration of course. Obviously, that duration would be doubled if Alex used Energy Boost (and there's no reason he wouldn't.
And even more so he could drain mana from some other partners or use some mana regenaration effect he has access to increase that even more. So is 3 minutes as a base a good number?

The last thing is about the amount of Magic circuit that Alex will gain because of this noble phantasm. I'd like to clarify things on that front. We gain those Magic Circuit when Shadow became a Servant.

Here's the relevant quote from chapter 95:

I never specified how many Magic Circuits that represent. I think that now that we have another use for those Circuits we may need to have a firm number. How many Circuits (assuming max quality) are needed to power a low-level Servant like Shadow for a day of little activity?
And how many are needed to manifest Zveri - Krestnyy Khod for 3 minutes? I doubt anyone can give an exact answer but if any Fate experts are present even a ballpark could be useful.

Unrelated note: I just noticed that we reached 200 threadmarks for the main story. That's cool. And 25 sidestory.
Sorry for not being present for all this discussion, I haven't checked SV in a while(I wish you would have pinged me on discord so I could get involved)

To summarize the various questions I've seen:
Alex would essentially be positioned atop its head like a crown. Although considering how much smaller he is than Ivan, he'd be closer to a stray hair by comparison.

The reason you can't find any images/videos of the manga/anime is that currently, the Russian Lostbelt of FGO has neither of those. It will probably gain one if not both in due time, but it doesn't have them yet. We're going purely off of the game and story.
In terms of the Mammoth's height, getting the exact measurements is hard because there's not really much to compare it to. So the best bet is to just make the least number of assumptions and just go with "Ivan's height does not change aside from the addition of the mammoth from the waist down".

Ivan's height is 531 Centimeters, the mammoth replaces everything below the waist, about 60% of his height. So, the "Ivan crown" is about 212 Centimeters. This video of the battle shows us a close up of Ivan atop the mammoth. From there, one just has to make a rough estimate.

Now in terms of Magic Circuits, there's unfortunately no exact explanation on how many is needed for a Servant. Rin Tohsaka had an incredible amount at a total of 70, but 30 of them were "sub-Magic Circuits", much weaker than the rest. They were also exceptionally powerful Magic Circuits. We can assume that the amount needed to maintain a Servants form constantly is far less than this maximum, especially for a less powerful Servant like Shadow. Using Noble Phantasms is far more expensive depending on its power however. While something like Gae Bolg, a (essentially)guaranteed killing blow on a single target, is fairly manageable, Excalibur, which is an attack on par with the mammoths full Beam, is incredibly expensive.

We can't make an exact estimate of how many Magic Circuits and how much "power" they need to have for someone to use such an ungodly powerful Noble Phantasm without a secondary power source to pull from, but needless to say: it's likely more than almost any (modern day)mage in the entirety of the Fate series. Needless to say, Alex will have a comically rapid ability to produce magical energy. He will never again suffer strain on his reserves trying to maintain any number of Servants, unless they're the godlike kind such as the Beasts or Surtr.

Cant he use the new mammoth transformation and one of his powers that make him smaller? I thought he had gotten something that allowed him to make his summons or himself smaller?

We have a three-tie between

"Armsmsaster proposed a spar. Me against the rest of the team."
"Kid Win has found his specialty and he wants to show off. Let's go see the results."
"I should check on that animal shelter that accepted the dogs from the dog fighting rings."

I'll roll a dice to break. And the subvote for the Power will come shortly.

edit: The Spar Win but I may try to integrate one or the other activity into the chapter if I can.

Replies:
I have two questions.
First, how much does Alex get paid? It has to be a decent amount given the legion of toys the Protectorate can sell of him and his partners.
Second, does Alex know what is causing the deference in Assault and Battery? As in, why they instinctively submitted before his power. I mentioned before in this quest that it is likely bleed over from their Shards mindset but what is Alex's take?
I have no firm number for Alex's salary. I'm under the assumption that Protectorate heroes in Worm are well paid, enough to live decently but not enough to not have Villains that are purely motivated by greed to switch sides. In raw salary, Alex gains a less than Armsmaster or Miss Militia because he lacks seniority (only two months) and because in the chain of command, he's at the bottom (even if in practice everyone would follow his lead). To that you need to add the Noctis Cape Prime, a prime for healing, a prime for every arrest, and a percentage of the derivative products (as of Leviathan's death, those products are constantly sold out).
So you can assume that Alex has no money problem. (And that's not counting all the loot that he has accumulated so far).

As for the deference, Alex's take is that until now his colleagues underestimated his powers. Now that they've seen the true scope of things, they're reevaluating their relationship and want to avoid giving offense. Not even consciously, just a primal instinct to not offend a predator.
While he's partly right, that does play into things. He did not consider the influence of the Shard. Simply because his own shard has no influence on him. While he's aware that Shards can influence their host to a degree, it's not something that he took into account.

My bad, I should have pinged you. Thanks for answering anyway. I've settled on something by now, if it's wrong by canon Type-Moon well they should give more info.

That's the problem. He does have two powers that reduce the size of his partners (Size reduction by 2 and Miniaturization by 10). But the Mammoth is considered part of him. And even if he could, he could only apply those powers after transforming, so for the most part too late.

Chapter 191: Sub vote
[X] Armsmsaster proposed a spar. Me against the rest of the team.
[X] Power
Power Roll: (710 points)
Entry Roll D39= 21
600 Summoning 3/day, 700 Sustained Immortality, 200 Companion
This one may change a lot of things. I'm very curious to know what you will prioritize. Survival or Utility? Or will you go Companion for reasons that I can't fathom?

Details:
-Summoning 3/day: You can summon each creature three times a day instead of once per day.
-Sustained Immortality: As long as at least one summoned creature is present in the same dimension as you, you cannot die. However, this does not prevent you from receiving wounds or from pain, it simply prevents your death.
Should your body completely disintegrate, your soul destroyed, your mind obliterated, or any similar drastic damage, a random creature is dismissed and you reappear in its place.
-Companion: You gain one creature of your choice costing 100 points or less. This creature is permanently summoned to your side, it does not count against your summoning limit. This creature is real in every sense of the word, it needs to eat, sleep, and care. It can die but you can resummon it after 24 hours.
You can gain this benefit any number of times.
Note: Alternatively you can choose a creature that Alex already possesses worth 200 points or less to become the companion. In that case, we'll gain a random 200-point creature as a normal partner.

Vote:

[] 600 Summoning 3/day
[] 700 Sustained Immortality
[] 200 Companion

[] Reject everything and keep points.

Voting will be closed Friday at 3 PM GMT

[X] 700 Sustained Immortality

Stops us from being one shot so super handy even if the 3/day is super tempting

Edit- is the 7/day on the normal table or the one after we get all the powers?

[X] 600 Summoning 3/day
Alex can already share his damage to Solar, and even full body disintegration will be a tiny pinprick to a super-continent sized Shard, and there's currently nothing truly exotic that can threaten him at the moment (no soul-destroying/true psychic attacks he has to worry about). Let's go with the power that's so OP @zagan made the doc say it's 900 Points (our version's 600 because we've been using that version since the start and he didn't want to annoy us too much or something idk).
