Don't we have a couple of other higher ranking Nemesis victims that we identified who need exorcising?
You did, that is why Molly is wondering why Mab only mentioned one more exorcism.

Which ooc probably is Lea and not the other two Names on the list Molly gave her.You did, that is why Molly is wondering why Mab only mentioned one more exorcism.
Probably only to Michael, maybe Lydia.Just as a reminder, do you want to talk about how you saw Nemesis' greatest shame and what it is? Because if you vote for everything that is included.
… We need to pop HC stat, cause someone has clearly replaced Charity if this isn't in fact Nemesis trying extra hard.Rolls
Willpower against getting shaken by Maeve's information
Parting offer
Maeve rolls willpower to now show/feel emotion... good thing her willpower is terrible for that she is
Ad Hoc GPS... dead reckoning it is
*encounter roll for interception hidden*
Lydia argues for guided trouts of the Otherworld... that is not a lot of successes
...unless Charity botches the opposed willpower roll and loses social combat outright
They clearly know things about the enemy's plans though. As I said before, Mab likely will choose the cheaper option of ridding herself of them.
The lethal one. They aren't her daughter.
...unless Charity botches the opposed willpower roll and loses social combat outright
I figure she didn't have a specific big evil plan, she was just out to profit as much as she could.Mab has failed to gain what she wanted today.
Despite that she is rather happy about it.
She got what she needed instead.
She has lost the leverage to coerce our service, but we have told her that we can be bought instead.
She can work with that.
So, in rough summary, Nemesis' greatest shame is the equivalent to a militant vegan who enjoys the occasional cheeseburger in between attempts to destroy the beef industry?
Harry's a senior military commander for a supernatural nationstate at war.I'm not sure we should take anyone on our first visit. On our second? Definitely Harry, and probably Bob too. I kinda want to hire Harry to do a "deep dive" - spend at least a month investigating our World-body to make a report afterwards. Prior to getting Splintered Gale Incarnation (which would be a priority after the kingdom, I feel), that's the best option to get a street-level experience about our kingdom.
Say what you will about her parents, but they do seem to be genuinely affectionate towards each other, and she has living step-siblings. They are a family, living in a family house, behind a family's threshold.Rosie seems more relevant. Olivia is at least stable, and we haven't done an update for Rosie in a while.
We've got resources 4, so we should just be able to hand wave some stuff for her.
Family drama will go down 90% if she has an apartment and 'job' as a secretary at Chicago Synthetics to provide income and health insurance. She doesn't have to actually use it, but having an escape hatch is pretty psychologically helpful.
Fair.Fair. I was thinking specifically in the context of knowing what she's doing than simple power though.
A murder monster with good socials isn't necessarily someone with the chops to play the big league magic games we just did.
It is more of an additional set of data points for the file than anything else though.
Part of my research suggests you cant maintain a high tech civilization with less than a hundred million people anyway.when making your hell could you please set the population at least comparable to a modern nation like Japan? Cause there's no way I'll vote for it with less than that. Also for the people to be mostly united as I don't want to have to fix that as we wont have time.
Yes.You joke, but the good question to ask is: do White God Rules apply inside our Kingdom?

Nemesis is a secret. That Nemesis exists at all is generally considered a Big Damn Secret.
One that Lydia's Dad does not wish her to know. He stonewalled her on that before.
Hm.."She's in deep with Him." The screech of nails involuntarily dragging along ice leaves no doubt as to who she means
Names have power. We should not mention Nemesis by name. We are not under Mab's circle of wards. Nemesis may just feel us mention it.Harry's a senior military commander for a supernatural nationstate at war.
Aint nobody got time for that.
Also, not a world-body.
The WoD term is Horizon Realm.
Say what you will about her parents, but they do seem to be genuinely affectionate towards each other, and she has living step-siblings. They are a family, living in a family house, behind a family's threshold.
Rosie's got much better passive defenses if she was living behind their threshold as opposed to living alone.
We just need to invest the effort to convince them that she can make a go of keeping her kid(s) with our financial and moral support, instead of her trying to do the single parent thing at 18 with no support besides her stepdad.
I mean, this was 2006.
Pre-Obamacare, and its requirements that a child can stay on their family insurance until 26.
Just the healthcare bills for giving birth to an uncomplicated pregnancy are going to be in the five figure range.
Fair.

Yes.
The White God is not an algorithm, his rules are not predicated on interpretations of the letter of the law like the Unseelie Accords, and the continuing on-screen experience of the Denarians and Luci's Hell suggest that you cannot One Weird Trick him; everytime they think they've found an exploitable loophole and go for it, they eat a penalty.

- Molly manages to keep a poker face. Not bad.
And dramatic exit too.
-Makes sense. Its not that Mab cant cure Nfection, because we know she can; its that it takes a very long time, can be quite painful, and may require consent if the victim is powerful enough. If you assume that Mab feels dutybound to pay fair market value when she calls on the Infernal Exalt's seevices, she'd only call in Molly where speed and clarity are essential.
So she'd do it for Lea, her second in command. She'd do it for Maeve, her daughter and heir-apparent.
But Eldest Rawhead? The other guy? Arent as important or time sensitive to Winter's function, and they have deputies. She'd probably prefer them cured, but doesnt need to hurry it. She can just dump them in ice to cure them the long way, or simply have them euthanised and their deputies/heirs take their place.
Besides, I think Eldest Rawhead may be part of Maeve's retinue. We certainly see a rawhead in her retinue in Cold Days.
So if someone is going to try and get him healed faster, its probably her.
-Yeah, Molly needs to build Clippy a new phone with better tech.
Or to buy Cyberdevils 3.
Maybe both.
-Huh. The jawas got to see actual magic.
-Lydia confirms that there isnt a hope of hiding what happened tonight.
If Occult 1 Lydia Rhi could feel what we were doing from behind her wards despite the lack of any specialized equipment, then its safe to assume any of the actual seriousface organizations have been staring at their sensors and oracles all evening.
So even aside from Winter Court gossip, people are gonna know. And there will be Winter Court gossip.
Lololol.
Charity Legendary Carpenter gets rolled by Lydia? I never thought I'd see the day
*looks at interception roll*
Huh. Something tried to pick a fight with us, but we blew past it like Road Runner vs Wil E Coyote. So naagloshii, or lesser skinwalkers? Because an attempted interception requires that said person be able to keep up with a woman flying faster than a WW2 fighter plane and with the maneuverability of a hummingbird, and those are the two threats that come to mind.
Nemesis is a secret.
Outsiders, certainly not. Dresden talks about them fairly freely with other wizards in Dead Beat, when they were used openly in attacks on the White Council. He talks about them in Proven Guilty, when Michael saves a bunch of wizards and wizard trainees from Outsider and Rampire attack. He talks about them with Thomas and Murphy in Cold Days.
And frankly, with Nemesis and its agents going out of their way to target Molly and the Carpenter family when they were civilians, Charity has need to know.
There's no reason to hide the details of this from her. Might give her nightmares, but she lives with the knowledge of the Denarians.
She'll cope.
Is it just me being paranoid as usual or should we get ready for a fight?
Is it just me being paranoid as usual or should we get ready for a fight?
I never liked hidden interception rolls. Our dice thinks we should always ran into the worst sort of people.
This is the Carpenter house. Site of some of the most powerful passive defenses around.Names have power. We should not mention Nemesis by name. We are not under Mab's circle of wards. Nemesis may just feel us mention it.
The general category "outsiders" is likely fine. Outsiders is a label, not a name. You can tell someone that something is an outsider fairly safely. You do not name outsiders without extreme caution.
outsiders are partly memetic hazards knowing of them in canon literally empowers them given on any scale for individual people probably doesn't mean much also fear. Lovecrafts stuff is enough to at least somewhat empower the sleeping old god or whatever in the pacific. Mind you this is in canon I'm not sure any of this is true at all here. Given its still more lax a conspiracy than world of darkness often is though plenty of wizards barely know about outsiders at all. Some of the younger ones think the outer gates are metaphorical or non wizards do.Which doesn't really make sense to me except in the sense that Nemesis is really scary and there isn't anything most people can do about it so knowing just makes you paranoid.
So many cool charms so little XP.Pity we lack Endless Torment Emanation. Nemesis suffering +2 DC for a while would be great. Really should pick up ETE it basically shutdown any prolonged enemy operation Molly encounters.
which is weird since in canon only mortals can summon them as we've been told. Well unless dp changed that or they are just using minions to do it which is perfectly doable. Here we have the exact quote.
Generally everyone who knows about Outsider can summon them.
Now most people obviously don't. But enough still do, so it's standard procedure to limit knowledge.
Red Court is summoning a lot of them, for example.
