I'd rather do things that are fun for as much people as possible and this is what the people want so I'm not really going to sweat it if we let other branches take up the slack.
 
@TehChron Why does Plan GO! FIN FUNNELS! uses the Argonauts as a support where the point is to sandbag convincingly? Wouldn't it be better to use units that the Free brothers already know we use in conjunction with Beowulf (AKA the Jackal squadron we used in the ambush that captured Bandit which Patchwork surely briefed the rest of the Free Brothers about?

It's a matter of control. Sandbagging requires modulation and control of the circumstances, and we need to make sure everything goes within the larger scope of Galbinus' schemes.

It's why we have the Perseus prepping to run interference on the Free Brothers. If this is to go well, it needs to go off flawlessly, and that means an ability to contain and manage any surprises that might be sprung on us. For that purpose, additional reserves are invaluable especially when we know they partner up with the Westphalians to a degree. Sure they might not move for the Free Brothers in general.

But for Bandit specifically?

Going with this for now, but I agree that in the future we need to start building up a naval force, considering what we're up against. Also, I think we need to get another DF advisor now that we've got direct lines of communication with all other organizations, and we need to liaise more closely. Heck, once Jenkins, Mander and Yukimura end up finding out about the Kausen, maybe we ought to organize a conference...

Couple of things, @Basarin:
- I'm starting to lose track about which advisor is best at what. Would you mind updating the Dramatis Personae when you can?
- Anna's not a direct member of our organization, so we can't actively get her or the IS to investigate or gather intel on other organizations, right?

I happen to have some time today, so sure, I can knock that out. I have to flesh out the Dramatis Personae section anyhow.

And Anna is Anna. She comes and goes, all chameleon-like. She and the IS are in your corner, but at the moment she works with you, not for you if that makes sense.

On the other hand, precedent is on your side. Very specifically from GaoGaiGar (with an honorable mention to the Brave Police). Volfogg was brainwave scanned from the main programmer on staff, and was turned into a ninja police car with Drone equivalents that he combined with.

Just keep in mind - asking for additional resources like that will not only lead to Interesting Times (use previous interactions with Anna as your baseline) but additional responsibilities.
 
Information is power and ninjas are cool. Even with added responsibility, being able to peek a little past the fog of war would be mighty useful so it might be a risk worth taking for that alone.

Though I admit the possible shenanigans resulting from such would lead to even more in game hilarity and ooc fun for the readers so it's something I'm all for lol.

    Sasaki caught Colonel Kim at something of an awkward time, and was not afforded quite enough time for the in depth discussion she'd hoped for. But one thing that's becoming clear - while the Jackals are proving to be a wonderful 'one size fits all' solution for many of his problems, he's running into situations where he's forced to stretch that definition. The meeting ended before he could outline what he might need, but Sasaki has made her own conclusions from observing.

    Galbinus, on the other hand, she catches right in the middle of final preparations. He's pleased to see Callaghan and Beowulf reporting in, though the Argonauts cause an amusing stir in the Legion. His plan for Bandit's 'breakout' involves making the Free Brothers expend the resources to achieve their goal - and Perseus's diversionary attacks are only going to help sell the illusion. (Further breakdown will be explained in the post)

    Diana doesn't quite have the same rapport with MSS that Adrianna does, and she has to tiptoe around the whole 'being an AI' part of the equation (unlike Adrianna, who would just bulldoze her way through the prospect cheerfully). Still, she comes to an understanding with Charles Mander - he's calling in the favor for a pretty hefty upgrade, one that would threaten to break him financially, for Valiant - and he's sending over Dr. Marcus Dinym to talk shop with your engineers. He'll arrive next month.

    On the one hand, Adrianna has cottoned on to the infiltrators, having seen them up close and having a good understanding of how they operate. There are reports of skirmishes in the East Asian Districts and Southeast Asia against Ground Defense Force and Marine Expeditionary Forces facilities. Particularly in Japan (no real surprise), the Philippines, and Vietnam. They did a pretty good job disguising themselves as Westphalians - but Adrianna knows the difference.

    What confuses the hell out of you - what do you mean space observation found something anomalous?

    ...most likely, or from Mekaen somehow, but doubtful. A bit worried if it's the Regent's enemy since that means they'll be space-capable or something along those lines.
     
    It's either the Regent's enemy or another faction from Mekaen. Basarin did say that drawing attention from there might not be good due to the political infighting among factions.
     
    So between the possibility of a Steed based Funnel-providing attachment unit to unlock the All-Range attack for our mechs. The Orion Project being dug into. AND the rocket boosters to serve as a frame of reference for our units.

    AND a Seeker Core Unit thatd be able to be constructed with that kind of environment in mind from the start
