Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

the fact that we don't really need to eat or drink since Transcendent Lord of Flies
I don't think that's how TLF works. We auto pass the rolls to support ourselves in wasteland, but that just means Molly warps the world to get the results she wants. Which is why it says she doesn't need to make survival rolls to get the benefits rather than saying she doesn't need those things in the first place.

We also don't spend enough time in areas of urban blight to stop Molly from relying on it full time.
True Faith was mentioned in context of collaborating with Charity when making Michael's new armor. She is his usual armorer, and @uju32 posited, with at least some evidence, that she uses True Faith (or some other supernatural ability) to make the armor better than a normal mundane armor made with resources available to her could be. We disagree on whether it's even possible to collaborate at all, but I am willing to try.
Even if it doesn't work it seems like a decent way to try bonding with Charity a bit. I doubt she'd be happy to let Micheal in armor she hasn't looked at, even if she knows it's better, anyway. She's spent too much time responsible for it, and is a worry wart on top of that.

Yeah.

The original Charm, Transcendent Desert Creature, was definitly about not having to eat or drink, this one is unclear on how it achieves the effect of suriving.

[X] Yes (6 AP this Turn; 6+1 Next turn and 6+2 on Following turns)

I am extremely touched that our parents are willing to go out of their respective comfort zones in order to give them the leeway for things like this and it would be a crime for this to go unnoted and unremarked. Their concerns are valid, there in no in-game reason to think that there might not be some side effect to our doing this, and yet they keep making these shows of trust. I'm not going to be ungrateful by asking for a blank check when they are already being so generous.

It will make things a little tighter because of how many responsibilities we have but its all fair.

Sure, they won't notice the Exaltation.
But possibly the unnaturally hardened skin, the fact that we don't really need to eat or drink since Transcendent Lord of Flies, or our strange relation with any liquid touching us.
I don't think hardened skin is an issue the passive charms are all about enduring hardship and being healthier then a OX. He might notice that our pain tolerance is unusual, but regular check up is unlikely to really test it.

TLoF only works in places of desolation which I hope our family isn't in and liquid just doesn't hurt us which isn't a problem unless he trys to hurt us with liquid.

Remember how charm's work Effect then Cause. The charm does what it say's, and the universe has contrive an explanation for the charm after the fact.
Which can mean that Molly doesn't need to eat or drink, but it could also mean that warm unopened pizza boxes just happen to show up around her. Kind of want to take Dad around a desert or something and see if it makes him think WGod is working overtime for some reason.

Ox Body might be more subtle, but Scar-Writ Sage Shield should be noticable.

Not unless he makes us roll a soak roll which would be a very invasive examination.
but is not as unhinged sounding as the other thing that comes to mind: 'I don't make mistakes,' no matter how sure you are that this is the case here.

I mean alchemy isn't a charm so I just it's theoretically possible that we botch and make a potion that hurts us.

Edit: Actually no potions are liquid and can't hurt us. But I think that we would feel bad if we somehow botched someone else's potion.

Key ability so ones don't minus. Far away from our mechanic focus so minus 2 base dice. So 5 dice without excellency, but I see no reason why we would ever not use it. If we feel like we have time to craft we can take a short bleach bath.

So 10 dice at DC 5 if we are only wet and doing an unmastered recipe.

Anydice says the chances of 0 successes is .01%. It seems likely that we master the recipe before we ever fail it.

Once mastered the odds of 0 successes are so low that Anydice just says 0%.

Even without excilancy the odds of 0 successes on a mastered recipe is only .24%.

What about batch size? Can we take penalties (dice, time, materials, whatever) in exchange for greater output?
*checks both versions of sorcerer*

Not given in canon. I'll have to think about this for a bit I don't want to make it too easy to mass produce, but at the same time there should be some ability to scale.
In the books Harry said that it generally makes sense to make 2 potions at the same time because of the parts of the process you have to spend waiting. He did mention that others can do more, but he felt that 2 was his limit.

It's why he always makes potions in pairs.

"We're going to make an escape potion," I told him. "I don't want to be all night, so can we get to work? Huh? I can only remember about half the recipe."

"There's always room to make two if you're making one, Harry. You know that."

That much was true. The process of mixing up an alchemical potion is largely stirring, simmering, and waiting. You can always get another one going and alternate between them. Sometimes you can even do three, though that's pushing it. "Okay, so, we'll make a copy."

Not likely to come up now, but I'm curious about how literal parts of the charm text are now that we're on the topic.

sCar-Writ saga shield (•)
The Infernal scribes a litany of the pain and hard-
ships she has endured upon her heart and her very bones, fortifying her flesh against harm.
System: The Infernal permanently lowers the diffi- culty of all soak rolls by one

Does Molly actually have tattoos on her heart, and demon runes engraved on her bones, describing the trials of her life now?
