I was just thinking I wanted to see Elder Ying again, she had much more impact than Elder Su in my opinion. Would feel wrong not to see Su Ling though. Even if we'd see her later anyway and have seen her recently. Just feels wrong to not make time for her here

If we hadn't chosen Suyin we could probably get away with this. We're paying respects and will see our friends again. But then we paid respect to a friend, so leaving out Su Ling would be pretty insulting.

There's no need or value in that though? The Argent Sect doesn't need to be there and with the Ministry being salty and Jiao for ditching them him in particular being there could even be detrimental. Even aside from worrying the White Sky by bringing a Prism down there.

My arguments for choosing Su Ling+Guan Zhi in the previous vote still stand.
I don't think it's right to forego Su Ling and Guan Zhi for that.
Now that I think about it, Elder Ying was the one that gave Su Ling her pill furnace. She is also the Elder in charge of protecting the mortals at the Sect town, which Su Ling is interested in.
If only we could meet the both at the same time...
My arguments for choosing Su Ling+Guan Zhi in the previous vote still stand.
- We have gone in dangerous missions with them both and saved each other lives. The underground mission in particular was when we earned her personal respect.
- That we are going to meet Guan Zhi in the war arc is an argument to foster a better relationship now, not to leave it for later. The same with Su Ling, we should find out how her divinatory powers are progressing.
- Ling Qi hasn't talked with Su Ling since their dream adventure. She certainly would want to check on her. Both for the damage she suffered and to talk about how the deal with the Diao and the fox children is coming along. It would be out of character for Ling Qi to not do so.
- Su Ling's Diao plot isn't something that will come back "soon". That's Li Suyin with the Diviner Action. If we don't talk with Su Ling now, it will be several turns before we have a chance to.

I feel this is the arc to meet up with people we haven't seen in a long time and perhaps never will again, and Elder Ying fits that to a tee. Su Ling is certainly more important to us... but that's kind of the reason why she isn't a great fit for this arc about saying goodbye.
