Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

Invite her to Mac's with Michael or Dresden, who both have a reputation in the local community to both vouch for Molly and serve as protection for Rose.
Rose doesn't know Dresden personally and doesn't seem to like Wardens in general.
She made it clear she wouldn't want to meet one without worse options on the other hand, like the Pathfinders.

Note that it says invade.

How the Council chooses to interpret that depends as much on politics and expediency as it does on principle.
Someone had to go into the heads of all the junior Wardens, with or without their permission and check for boobytraps left behind by Peabody after Turn Coat.

Conversely, Dresden and Molly used to train mental defenses by inviting each other into their minds and wage war.
And Dresden used mental magic on the poor lawyer that Madeline Raith mindfucked in Turn Coat.

Going to note that we rolled 8 successes on the Counselling roll. Rosie is WP3.
So the assisted willpower roll should be 11D10S7.
Not 10D10S7. Doesnt really change the roll this turn

Lol SuperMolly.
I wonder if any of the neighbors saw Molly doing her Superman impersonation.

I agree with @Yog actually.

Neutral territory means that violence cannot break out there without consequences from Mab.
It doesnt mean that surveillance cannot or will not occur there.
Or that people cannot follow you from there and start shit off the grounds.

Indeed, given its status as an acknowledged meeting ground in a major city, I would assume that anyone with the resources is paying to have it watched, and that gossip about what happens there spreads fast.
I would strongly suggest that our first visit there be in the company of either Michael or Dresden.

With regards to Rose of Autumn? We have two options:
1)Invite her to Mac's with Michael or Dresden, who both have a reputation in the local community to both vouch for Molly and serve as protection for Rose in case someone is watching and tries to take advantage afterwards.

2)Meet her in a mundane restaurant out in public with plenty of people, where she can have friends unobtrusively keep watch for her safety if she wants. Michael may or may not be present.
Same principle as a blind date off Tinder or some other social media site.

I'd prefer the restaurant myself.

Hard no to the run.
If someone Ive never met before invited me for a run to talk about something occult secret, I'd worry about getting bundled into a van if we were running on the sidewalk or murdered and dumped in the woods if it was a trail.

While the politics of the Fourth Law are indeed relevant for dream-counseling in general I do not think Molly would invite her friend to test those waters. That would take a lot of delicate negotiations and probably leverage. Well other that or becoming a power in her own right, recognized by the Accords. At that point going 'mine' is a valid argument to protect a sorcerer doing things the council might think of as Lawbreaking.

I am now imagining if we could make it white council policy that warlocks can decide to jump into our maggot pit and serve Molly rather than serving their normal sentence. There are a lot of wizards that would rather not be killing kids.

Might as well have our partner in crime along for the meeting.

Oh, if she's in the supernatural community in Chicago, she knows him by reputation. Possibly on sight.
Remember that he's only been a Warden for roughly ten months, since Halloween last year.
Everything he's done to date has been as an ordinary wizard of the White Council.

Fair enough.

Why the hell would they do that?
By the same reasoning, they might as well sell warlocks to the Fomor.

Well if we had already had a lot of Cod servicing us in unobjectionable ways they might consider it. Basically if we went the cult route with most of our minions leading fairly normal lives besides paying us a tive of their income.

They would be forcing people into magical servitude on pain of execution.
And essentially giving a foreign power magical recruits to build their military power

And they would literally only have our word for...anything.
We could change our mind literally tomorrow and nothing holds us.
They would have to be fools to do it.

Yes it is never going to be an official policy.

How well would he be known as a trustworthy person/good judge of character? He is a Knight of the Cross, but IDK how well known he is in that regard.
It may well come out that Molly is related to Michael; hopefully that isn't seen as something that would compromise his judgment as far as someone's character.
Also, if Rose asks for confirmation as to who he is/why they should trust his judgment, would he be be able to divulge that he is a Knight of the Cross while in a public place? Also, if pressed for confirmation on that, how might he most credibly prove that he is who he claims to be without drawing attention?

If we want a second person to vouch for us as well, who would be a good second choice? Harry seems to be the obvious pick, TBH, but he may or may not be busy with other matters.

Obviously this would very strongly depend on our standing with White Council. If we are their greatest ally, best friend an life saver of half the senior council, provider of unique materials / services and in general one of the "good guys" then this could be seen as a viable alternative. Remember - Council doesn't chop heads off because they like it. They do so because they truly believe they have no other option. If there was one, they would take it.

Speaking of, it's interesting to consider how mental pollution caused by law violation would persist past death. I mean, on one hand, the issue is the change in one's mind. On the other, hell is often considered a place of soul's cleansing in eastern mythologies, so there might be something to it.

-[X]STUNT: Your dad holds open the door of the shawarma place as you follow Lydia inside, the chill of the room a pleasant counterpoint to the late August heat outside. RATIONALE
Bring Michael if he's available and works with the QM's plans; he generally looks reassuring, and his supernatural reputation to those who know of him in the Chicago area is solid. Definitely bring Lydia; she is an unknown who needs to get out of the house and meet more people, and she's non threatening to the mundane eye as a pretty(Appearance 3) teenage girl.

The only difference from @uju32 is that I am specifying seafood place, as a very subtle jab at who we fought and defeated.

No, we don't want the seafood reference.

The Fomor are amphibious.
If she knows about the Pathfinder-Fomor connection? You're risking spooking Rose and messing up this entire meet for a minor jab at dead people.

Don't get cute.

I see no reason to take our dad with us in this.

He is either an unknown, or he is the Fist of God.
Neither really helps the conversation for an average minor practicioner who would propably want to stay away from big deals that include Michael on a mission.

Character Reference for us: he makes a pretty good one as far as the supernatural world is concerned. The Knights of the Cross are generally considered to be quite trustworthy, if I remember correctly.
He has done some arbitration(?) stuff in the quest so far as well, so him showing up doesn't necessarily mean that shit is expected to go down. I mean, in that instance, shit did end up going down, but IIRC he was originally there as a neutral party of some sort?
