What trace elements were necessary were already parts of the steel stock or in the coal used.
Sorry, but let me laugh in "rare elements are rare". No, this isn't how it works, and you essentially can't find trace elements of a lot of useful stuff in households.
Because we would not know be able to observe how worked, let alone how to combine it with a whole new kind of magic and get them both to cooperate. Its like asking a blind English teacher to perform transplant surgery and get parts of two different bodies working properly.
So I am comfortable saying that no, it would not work
Why would we be in charge of combining it? I fully expect True Faith magic to take up the slack. As long as our intent is to cooperate, and Charity's intent is the same, I don't see an issue.
IMO, you could ditch resident devils really easily, given that you already have immortality for all purchased; given that Hell is unlikely to give us devils above fomor-level, it is a somewhat overpriced purchase.
There is also Gaol, but I think you really wanted that for various reasons.
Anyway, yeah, I really want Lord of the Land both in light of basically giving us a reality marble, and since it is the singular best purchase for working off minmaxed Realm drawbacks or earning additional bonus points. Terraforming is good stuff.
I actually was against Gaols initially, and felt they could be built later. It was a bit of a compromise decision. However, I think it slotted in really well, lorewise, and provides a lot of potential plot and flavor. As well as functionality. And, we'll, I shot for the stars by essentially putting a shadow of Malfeas into our realm as the ultimate prison complex.
Devils I am rather fond of, despite not writing about them (I have spent the last two weekends midjourneying to start writing something about them and give illustrations). I want them for several reasons. First of all, so there's a society where humans and non-humans live together at least somewhat harmoniously. Secondly, so the kill teams we summon are more powerful. Third, for possible lore reasons. Yes, they can be excised relatively trivially, but still.
At some point minmaxing should probably stop.
No, the land becomes like your hell, but you do not metaphysically swallow part of the world (and the souls therein) into your hell. It's a shaping effect basically.
So... How would Endless Torment translate? Would it manifest at all? Would it apply only to summoned inhabitants of our realm?
