Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

Molly is visibly wounded and not a good way to deflect the cops. Anyone reasonably clean to talk without Harry shoving his foot up his mouth?
She isnt visibly wounded; she cleaned up on the way to the warehouse.
She just happens to be wearing a damaged dress as a skirt and chainmail as a top.

Steal one of Harry's shirts and put it on over the armor shirt and you're good.
Or alternatively, dont bother and claim you came over to buy/pick up some chainmail.

Mortal True Names change. Immortals dont.
I'm going to have to disagree with this, my reason is religious syncretism eg Ishtar is Astarte is Aphrodite is Venus is the motherfucking Virgin Mary. Though it makes sense for simplicity's sake why Jim Butcher decided to make the rules as they are. Things get kinda weird when you add one setting to another and the rules get funky.
@DragonParadox does syncretism and mortal perception of things like gods change said gods names?

It adds to their name yes if the aspects are different enough, like they do not get a True Name for like every language they are praised in, but if one group worships them markedly different than another that name and the perspective that comes with it becomes part of the True Name

The Dresdenverse position is that they're not the same position.

Some of the gods/immortals wear different faces in different pantheons, and some have different individuals in different pantheons. For example, Odin is Kringle is Santa Claus is Donar Vadderung.
Same physical person, different magical/divine Mantles.

Mab can make a request of Kringle that he'd have to take as the Winter King
But Donar Vadderung would be free to ignore.

I don't really see how we can reasonably help Harry deal with this situation, not if it really is the police on the other side of the door. Everyone would probably frown on us swording them.

Seems like the best thing to do is hope Harry can distract Greene or otherwise keep the police from finding out more than they should. I don't expect that to happen, however, because the timing of this is too suspicious. Whoever sent the sniper probably made a call, maybe something like a simple 911 call to report a crime at Harry's, with a goal of disrupting the interrogation, inconveniencing us, and getting Gorfel out of the apartment so he will be a target once again.

@DragonParadox, I know Harry isn't very good with Veils at this point in the timeline, but would he be able to hold a small one to obscure our group in his own home?

He could try, but if he fails and his concentration breaks it would looks like spaceship decloacking, blatantly magical so that would be the absolute last resort.

You could also try excellency-terrorizing him, that would be 14 dice of intimidation, more with stunts. Granted he might try to shoot you, but you can parry bullets which would only add to the effect. :V

One thing that we need to be wary of is burning question topics. And the more mundane the topic, the more "broad" the topic is considered; e.g gambling for money.

Would it be possible to ask "what words can our (non blood covered) monk ally say to get this detective here and now to leave?"

Or is such specificty 'gaming the system' and would not work?

Edit: I'd like to make an Exalt-tier cleaning tool if that's possible.
It's rude to make a mess with blood.

Yeah that's basically Contessa's Path to Victory and not a valid use of the crown.

What would be the best question to use on our captive?

Can we get the entire leadership of their organization?

Only what he knows about?

How would we best formulate that question?

No, the crown cannot outright PtV things as it would impinge of free will. That would be a skill check which someone has to make. You could ask for things that would help.

Hmm.....a 17 year old with bruises, wearing an older Man's shirt while hiding in his apartment and refusing to allow anyone to examine her while being clearly injured.

I cannot see how this will not end badly.
We cleaned up on our way to the warehouse
And Harry has some unisex/women's clothes in his closet; he never got rid of everything Susan IIRC.

Lets just ask the QM
@DragonParadox
QUESTION
Are we physically bruised?
Are there any external signs of damage like bruising or cuts or bloodstains anywhere on our person?

Lie. Or at least distract.
Excellency 2*(Man/Cha 3 + Subterfuge 3) + Stunt 2 - Wound Penalty 1 = 13 dice.
Average 6 or 7 successes, plus whatever Dresden throws into the kitty.

Frankly, the presence of an additional witness tends to.....discourage cavalier behavior.
And that's assuming its Greene on the other side of the door, and not someone else.

IIRC Harry has said sicking the mortal authorities on a magical is akin to using nukes.
How much trouble is whoever does something like that in, if we can prove it?

The last bullet hit you in the face so yes the entire left side of your face is bruised. Harry noticed it when you came in. You do not have anymore bloodstains though.

No search warrant, now if only it was Mouse talking, he doesn't reflexively goad under stress...
