This less so but we need to speed run some progress due to the school year ending next turn risky yes but I feel like it is a necessary risk

In principle I agree, but if it's all presented in anything but an utterly perfect way, it looks really bad. Like really really bad. Like 'Hey Neville, I'm definitely not possessed and/or a tool and/or a budding dark wizard. Isn't that cool?' bad.

Eh, Neville apparently does a bit of Dark Arts too, it'll probably be fine.

I know surprising, I've been a super big proponent of plan kill Neville for a while. But this is gonna go one of two ways, he flips shit and we have a reason to kill him, or he accepts our openness and my issues with him are solved. If he's not keeping secrets and is helping us keep ours than I have no problems with him.

Edit: I also think birdsie is throwing us a bone because of how distrustful we've been of Neville. Let it be known I am not unreasonable.

Man, it's like Neville was trying to get himself killed after he revealed he had a fifth year Charm. :V

Well then, I suppose we have no other choice. He's taken up Astrology, Dark Arts, and even our Runes, so now, before things are too late, we've got to cut down our competitor.

It might seem like an incredibly drastic move, but hear me out: Fueled by his feelings of inadequacy at our progress being twice as fast as his, since he lacks Thrice Great Sovereign, he's in a fantastic position for the Apocryphal Curse to turn him into the Mordred to our King Arthur down the line. (Birdsie knows exactly what I'm talking about, by the way, since he campaigned for this vote option for one of our party members real hard in AST. :V)

Before you wonder how he'd gain the strength to do so, the Apocryphal Curse was notorious for doing this back in A Simple Transaction, and as Neville already has strong potential by virtue of being one of the Chosen, it takes less expenditure for the Curse to do something of that sort.

But if he's dead, well. I won't say it's impossible, but given how hard it has been to peel back the veil of death in HP, I'd say it'd add a good amount of difficulty to the task.
