[X] Trust in our companions
-[X]Do What you Feel is Right: You know what...you're not going to question what Davot does in Italy, you have bigger things to worry about.
-[X]Remain in Lyon: You wish to take a break from campaigning, to assist in the creation of this new government. Brian certainly appreciates you remaining behind… to have someone else he can confide in.
-[X]Yes

I feel like while squishing the civil war is important, the numbers of the coalition make me want to wait and see where are we most needed. I'm for letting Davout decide himself with the information he gets, he's got a good head on his shoulders, and I want to give him the freedom to be adaptable, flexible. Also, Brian seems to need a break, and 2 geniuses are better than 1, it will be more productive and let him distract himself a little.

It's only fitting we close this chapter of Therise's life in the Republic by defeating the man who made her legend once more. He can always come back during the Hundred Days or whatever, but for now this shall be his glorious funeral pyre.
Jourdan is a member of the Restoration Authority, or at very least, not fighting for the Republic, but for the French state.

And also, the dude became a marshal despite his politics, because he was pretty Damn competent at his job.

as for Brunswick, he's not there leading the army of France, that's Blücher. And he is one badass mf.

Well if we stay, prepare for a grand marriage ceremony instead of just a quick courtroom wedding before we have to boogy.

[X]The Cockroach of Brunswick, or Ferdinand gets the Jojo treatment.
-[X]Give the command to Massena: The Army of Italy...is in Italy, and close by to Rome, a short march away, best to combine their forces in case of the Austrians march through Italy. Davout won't complain, and you have a feeling that Massena's more aggressive leadership might lead to more victories than you have.
-[X]With the Fox on the Rhine: General Jordan is in need of support to hold the Rhine against the Austrians when they inevitably arrive, and who better than the Firefighter herself? Really the Prussians' should know better by now. (You will be placed second in Command to General Jourdan's Rhine offensive, and will be making some moves on the Prussian and Austrian's coming towards you.)

Best to hold the front, where the majority of the damage will come from. Paris is a concern, but we have napoleon handling that (I think, I could be wrong). Also worth thinking, we need to get a decisive battle- One to break the backs of the Prussian and Austrian Forces. With that done, we can wheel back to smash Paris if it is still uncaptured, or advance into the german homeland to knock them out.

I mean, Ferdinand's profile says he's itching for a chance to attack Therise again, regardless of how little his status is in Austria. What better time and place than under the Prussians? And who else would give such an utterly disgraced man a second chance, then the most decorated, and most callous, General in all Prussia?

I never said he wasn't there, Only that he wasn't leading the Army of France.

He's around... somewhere.

Not so hot on the plan name, but the essence is sound. Kick the weakest coalition member while they are still down from when we shived them in the kidney, hopefully plagiarize OTL Napoleon and marry him like we've been cheering for for ages.

Everyone like the update?

Cyber was the one who decided to add in Napoleon asking to marry us and in hindsight, it was a brilliant thing.

[X] The New Plan
-[X]The Army of the North: Your former comrades… and new conscripts, are mustering near Orleans, preparing an offensive against the Vendee. You will go there, and you will stop them… maybe save them. Hopefully, Marmot will see the reason, and join your cause. (Go with the Army of the Orient to Orleans and try and reason with the Army of the North. If not… destroy them)

I am a little worried about what the panic in Paris could do if this works. Robespierre still had Brian's family and Kellermann as hostages for even if things go perfect. We really can't do anything about it except some inside actor decides that they tries to save them. I could see plenty of the people who joined the other side deciding that would be a good way to save their heads and cozy up to the new but the problem is that their is no way they all aren't watched closely as possible.

I wonder if we can give Corsica independence.
You know, give Napoleon a pet project. Like a train set, except it's Corsica not a train set.

Let's just say that Kellerman has made peace with whatever happens, knowing he has never fought against France and her interests. He's a cool old man who is sure of his place in the halls of the French pantheon of men who were patriots for France, fighting every one of his battles for her... and not one against her.

Brian's Family... Well, if he really wanted to turn Brian towards becoming a Napoleonic fanatic/ Authoritarian strong man, who will never fight for a republic or democracy again, seeing it sap away his youth, his idealism, and now his family....

Robe might try to... not kill Brian's family.

Cause that will destroy Brian in such a way that even what he caused the republic to turn into... would seem small by comparison.

And he might BURN Paris all to the ground and leave nothing left.

Counter intuitive considering the civil war, but a man in grief can do some horrible things.

I like having a grand wedding ceremony. Also meet up with Brian again and actually meet our new sister-in-law? We never went to their wedding, we can at least give our congratulations in person.

Our sister in law and niece, are currently captured by Robe and co.

@Cyber You are a bold direction. I'm loving the sweep and grandeur. We owe it to the armee du nord to offer them an olive branch out of Rob's quicksand. How else can they come to our WEDDING?!

-[X] Invade Naples: Even you knew Ferdinand would attempt to reclaim Sicily for his kingdom, and he would assault the Island to kill your Sister Republic. That cannot come to pass, go and defeat them anyway.

Not quite for he same reasons as the plan author, however.

Naples, to protect Sicily and ensure no-one can land an expeditionary force in Naples to take the Army of Italy in a pincer (looking at you Austrians). Maybe leave a small garrison in Rome just to remind the pope Davout can come back quickly if necessary.

Army of the North (while is the one I am waivering the most on, with the alternative being remaining in Lyon) because this is the main force of Robespierre. If they are beaten or even better turned, the chances of Paris overhroing him (thus avoiding a bloodbath) goes way up, which would then allow to concentrate on Foreign Foes. Can we leave a few guidelines to Napoleon and Brian on some general principles which must be followed when establishing the new government (right of women, slavery, sepration of power, responsibility of officials, ... that type of things)?

yes. Let's get on with this.
