3 different thrusts here:
  • Tinshore just saw from what we just did to Hellas that when we demand the old land back we are not fucking around. If they did not learn, they can become another example.
  • With any luck, deepening Khem diplomacy will have some synergy with figuring out what is up with them religiously
  • Conduct a mass survey to fill in any land ownership (i.e. taxes) / resource mapping gaps resulting from the collapse

Because @Aranfan indicated there is a delay between times surveying a province, better to go hard on a couple of them.
Because we want to preserve going after Tinshore later to satisfy revanchism, use authority on Khem diplo for now.

Would War Mission be for Tinshore, or for Western Wall, or for Hellas? If for Tin, I think it's probably worthwhile to launder our reputation with a casus belli even though it delays us a year

... @Aranfan What would the roll of survey be for?

Donkey Hote seems to think that they are for the existence of resources rather than discovery of said resources.
 
Sounds like it's better to pool influence to maximize the chance of finding something. I still don't get what resources we are hoping to find in Txolla.
 
Also, even if you do pass the "do you find something" check, "nothing" is an entry on the tables for what you found. Although the odds of each vary per region.
 
@OliWhail it isn't a guarantee that we'll actually be finished reconquering Hathytta's borders this turn or secure peace with Hellas and be free to send the army against Tinshore next turn. Revanchism mechanics also mean it would be better to hold off on some actions to have something to do revanchism wise on later turns.

@Aranfan would doing Honor of Elites the same turn as we send a War Mission against its target affect the Casus Belli acquisition?

Not finding something this year doesn't prevent us from finding something next year. I think the narrative impact of surveys coordinated over all our integrated territory are worth considering.
