[X] Suggest your own plan, carrying Yu Nuan up into the Clouds so that she could face her potential spirit in their own realm. (Success not guaranteed, potential Greater Success?)

a great deal of flesh had been ruined, and the physicians had to cut it away and induce the growth of new flesh to replace it
I wonder if it gets more difficult to heal higher level cultivators as their body begins to transition into qi instead of blood and flesh?

"Woah, what happened to her?"
"Took a technique through the chest, think you can stabilize?"
"Sure, just as soon as you inform me what the human equivalent to all this sparkly ink covering her is."
"I think that's her equivalent to blood -or maybe's its perspiration?"

Why not?

Let's do this.

So from this:
"That's just a dumb story," Yu Nuan huffed. "They're powerful, aligned with wind and thunder, can even grow to cyan now and then. I don't know if you've noticed, but I'm not much of a fighter. I need something that can keep enemies back while I play. It's not like I'm gonna find a qilin or a dragon so a Thunder Beast is my best bet."
We can see that the Thunder Beasts are aligned with wind and thunder.

And from this:
Water and Wind are next, the first represents resourcefulness, wit, and ability to adapt. The second is related, but different, where Water will wear a path through obstacles given time, Wind will flow over and through without conflict. Wind is the element of freedom, representing wanderlust and curiosity.

Lake qi is the element of joy and delight in material pleasures, but also of content and tranquility. Conversely, Thunder is an element of conflict, of ambition and new beginnings, of those who seek the initiative in all things. Where Thunder strikes the first spark so to speak, it is Fire that drives one forward afterward, aggression and passion are the hallmarks of fire.
We can see that Wind is the element of freedom, wanderlust and curiosity where Thunder is the element of conflict, ambition, and new beginnings.

I'm going to hazard a guess and say that the more powerful Thunder Beasts are going to also be those who appreciate an individual willing to act in a way reminiscent of themselves. Sort of like how Cibei was drawn towards Su Ling because of her strong ideals regarding justice.

As such, I think it would be fitting to show ambition the willingness to be unrestrained by the ground in order to attract and bind these creatures. And because of that, I'm going to be voting for:

We may not get anything for our troubles, but if we do it will be very much worth it.

[X] Follow Yu Nuan's plan, circle through the clouds herding Thunder beasts toward her performance. (Guaranteed Normal Success)

Feels odd to decide to gamble on someone else's favour. Rather stick to giving what they asked.

I imagine at that point that physical injury becomes largely less important than spiritual injury leading to odd moments for those unable to sense the cultivator's Domain.

"She's missing most of her skin and has a hole clean through her stomach!"
"Yeah gonna take a while for the flesh to fill back in, least she's as bad off as that one."
"But they don't even have a scratch on themselves!"
"But just look at how their Domain is wavering!"
