Shen Hu: "Return the slab..."
Ling Qi: "What's yer offer?"
That is saying that if they run we should not chase after them not that we should wait and give them time.Yes, them coming in numbers like this is already anomalous, and is likely another sign of the coming invasion.
That being said, you're right that we have certainly been warned repeatedly about the dangers of overextending here, so if yrs was going to punish us for something it would be well justified to punish that.
On the other hand, we've also been warned of the trouble to the south and have reason to expect that there will be pressure affecting the other villages, including the ones we were assigned to protect. Take too long here and we risk trouble affecting those other villages.Yes, them coming in numbers like this is already anomalous, and is likely another sign of the coming invasion.

If we go slow and steady, that gives more time for Shen Hu to get more civilians into the shelters, and increases the survivability of our troops. On the other hand, we've also been warned of the trouble to the south and have reason to expect that there will be pressure affecting the other villages, including the ones we were assigned to protect. But we can. We have really good arts for that.Push too fast and hard, and we risk getting caught in a fight where we can't pull back
I was talking of a potential scenario, since Fog of War is still a thing, and we don't first-hand know all that much about how barbarians fight or what their cultivation levels actually mean.
I dunno how to do write ins but im for drive them before you cautiously. Keep an escape avenue handy.
Sable Crescent Step: B rank
A master of this art may bring its lessons together in a single movement, an impeccable step of matchless grace.
If they gang up on us then our allies can mop up the ones on the ground.[] Drive them before you
I dunno how to do write ins but im for drive them before you cautiously. Keep an escape avenue handy. Cus i agree that if they group up they can screw us over. We have tons of batteries in the first and second realms amd two other villages to help after this that could go down in flames if we take too long. Imo we should scatter them without a wholesale slaughter then head to the mext village to even the odds there too
I think it's not a regular raid at all, it's probing attack - to see what they should expect when pressing. It's a valid tactic in case of future invasion. That said the mystery guy is more likely here to cover retreat (we know that he has some stealth arts) then to actually fight someone.Yes, them coming in numbers like this is already anomalous, and is likely another sign of the coming invasion.

It would be really cool to teleport in among them bringing our mist with us.Will vote to attack just to increase chances to see this in action. I've been waiting for a long time for it.
Man we are the fog of war
And that definitely gives us some pretty big advantages, and I suspect that quite a few of LQ's more active techniques muddy equal level perception arts.
Confusion to the enemy. I wonder if that is a nickname we might get?
Adding them to the ones that Six gave us a while ago, we've got so many now.Confusion to the enemy. I wonder if that is a nickname we might get?
"Of course you're worth it. Most talented musician in the South, luminous fairy of the winter moon, black left hand of the Cai, Best Big Sis! The name of Ling Qi rings from the mountaintops!"
