[X] On the other hand... they're not, actually doing anything to anyone. Their deaths, right now, are entirely unnecessary. Shit, maybe they'll come in handy for a demonstration. The point is, killing them right now doesn't actually benefit you in any way aside from guaranteeing your peace of mind.

I suppose I ought to vote, huh?

As much as I advocate wanton murder and animal cruelty in the name of security, this will take too much of our time.
Time that could better be spent on Jaune ineffectual flirting effort or making friends with Cardin.

People.

We're not going to get into real estate particularly soon - that's the sort of thing we'll want to talk over with Weiss in depth before doing.

You know what we will be doing, probably the second Ruby notices how cute Weiss's Cell is?

You're almost tempted to offer her one of her own-

{SWEET DUST JUST START A FUCKING COMPANY ALREADY. GODS.}

Handing out cells like candy. If they prove themselves every trainee huntsman in Beacon will want one.

[X] Manufacture of Consumer Electronics (Personal Assistants)

This option.

[X] Cloudbank Solutions

This is a fine name for electronics too- no need to split the vote.

[X] DED- They're Grimm. Get rid of them before something bad happens, it's just common sense.

Because the other option feels kinda metagamey. Also, Salem noticing all the Grimm under Vale suddenly having a case of spontaneous existence failure and blaming it on an Ozpin plot sounds hilarious.

Er, do we (the players) even know if Salem exists? (EDIT: I mean probably because Ozpin, but still.) I'm more concerned about Grimm evaporation and possibly having a pseudo-captive population to study. If there are hordes like this beneath the other cities, we should try to find out how they behave before we start doing our utmost to kill them.

I do admit that leaving them alive makes me a bit uneasy, especially since there might be black pools down there, but it really comes down to a coin flip either way. When in doubt, I'll stick with the status quo that gives the Process more time to expand.

They are not doing anything right now. This could change very easily if we started trying to kill them. I'd rather bet on them not doing anything for a little while yet, while Process learns better guns.

Yes we are, why else would the QM offer it as a legit option? Seriously, this just reeks of fear mongering so that people vote a certain way that you specifically want. At best it's based off ignorance, at worst it's purposely being misleading which can be seen as more likely seen instead of clearing things with the QM first you just started telling people we couldn't do something making it seem like the QM is purposely screwing us over for some reason.

"Fear mongering" is a bit harsh, don't you think?

We're going to be pretty busy for the next week getting used to Beacon, and it seems extremely likely to me that we'll hand out another Cell sooner than we'll start buying real estate. What part of that seems questionable to you?

I didn't expect proposing we talk to our friend Weiss who's been trained in this sort of thing since she could walk to be controversial either.

Alright, fear mongering seems a bit harsh but it still seems like you are purposely being misleading by implying that going with a construction company is a bad idea. Since you know, we are literally picking what our company is doing this vote. And the whole consult Weiss thing as justification to not pick an option doesn't make sense since that could literally apply to any of the other options.

Besides that nothing is stopping us from just handing out cells even if we go with the construction choice anyway. After all we didn't need a company for all the other ones we gave out before now.

Mm. Frankly, I don't actually think this vote is that important? We'll end up doing several of the options either way.

It's mostly just an order thing - we'll either be a real-estate company that pivots into tech, or a tech company that pivots into real estate.

Of those two orders, I think tech into real-estate makes more sense: We aren't going to be able to hide our construction lacking any kind of workers and instead more or less mathing buildings into existence, and right now the existence of little white robots is public knowledge anyway because of the terror attack on Weiss.

So in my opinion, I think it'd be better to start out by getting a good opinion for the process, which we can kickstart by having the units we already handed out to our friends prove themselves useful as they spread by word of mouth to their friends.

Spend a month or two doing that, and the pivot into construction will happen much more easily, since we'll be using more or less "proven" tech that our prospective clients can ask Beacon about.

From what I've gathered from the QM himself it's really not going to be an issue for us to get into construction since he already wrote a number of posts that cover any potential issues and has pretty much implied it's not going to be that big a deal.

I seem to remember the only way our friend found any reference to the Badcells online was by specifically searching something like 'terrorist attack white robots' on google or whatever their equivalent was.

Edit: also, which outfit won and cam someone link me its pic?

It looks like Cloudbank Solutions is winning, so I will further push the vote to accept this as our company logo:

Because, say what you will about the Camerata, they had fucking style man.

The logo's cool, but red, black, and white are the colors of Grimm. Maybe replace the red, black, and white with blue, white, and gold respectively? Maybe with a bit of red for the eye thing.
