I liked the pointing out when the bonus has activated. Game-like feeling to these kinds of things don't worsen my enjoyment of the stories, in fact, many times they improve it. So yoeah, it has my approval. For the more narrative, less Quest-like style, you already have the RoyalRoad version. Quests should feel like quests, after all, hehe.
