Alright then, Vulkan thinks you don't care enough about your Legion, because you're willing to send them into die against corrupted Men of Iron for loot but you're not willing to risk your own neck. Clearly you underestimate the Power of Friendship, and what it will do for us here. Do you really want Vulkan to be disappointed in us?

Ok, so? Still Primarch vs Primarch. And I don't see what his whining has to do with anything here. I give no shits about Rawbut or the Ultrasmurfs. We've got the prep we've got here, and we can either go in and ensure less of our legion dies or we can hang back out of fear of corruption when being the daemon killer Primarch kinda seems to be our thing.
I don't care to argue about the vote anymore. I said my piece, what will win is what will win.

Only thing to be done is try to prepare for next time. Reinforced Legion training, searching for a Champion, setting up a Honor Guard, researching more anti-daemon methods and getting some CQC training from a Primarch.

My second passage was entirely about Rawbut. Should avoid his mistakes.

[X] Deploy Breaching Charges
-[X] Use Thousand Suns technomancy/divination/detection runes to verify a lack of point defenses, find the production facility, ensure all troops are sent to minimal distance from facility.
[X] Command

I wish you the best of luck. Switch to rollz they said, that will make the dice better they said. Proceeds to roll +95 repeatedly.

Edit: Late for a meeting. Got to go.
I find hillarious successes more interesting than failures, really. Guardsman Jo and his regiment lasguning and smashing a Daemonic Horde is more interesting than Daemonic Horde #46675 brutally slaughters Guardsman Jo and his friends, destroying the city they were protecting. You'd need to have a pretty good reasoning for the first scenario than the latter one.

Though, the Dice is obviously cursed if it favors the enemy.

Alright, I'm back and I was about to call the vote before I saw it was tied between command and assist, so I'll wait another 20 minutes before calling it.

my thoughts now that I'm home and can read all of this?

can we do a write-in? Because we can ask for info that only our captian would know to confirm hes him.

furthermore, once we know SOME info that is at least confirmed to not be lies (even if not quite true or all of the info), we can use that to direct our invasion better

two, I was thinking that we could split the force into thirds, with 2/3 being anti-hoard and then the back being the last third with anti-elite weaponry that can cover the back from elite-assasin bots as well as move in to support the front ones.

we can also make the point of bringing FAR more supplys and to also make sure to over-kill the bots as we go to ensure there is nothing to recover.

as we make progress we will have the room to have more solders cover the back-lines, with a focus against elite-style units since they are the type of units most likely to be able to sneak past the front lines.

finnally, we can make a point of bringing hard-metal "covers" which can even have rattle-makers attached that we can put over vents, holes or anything that robots can sneak out of. This way they are forced to either use the rare-entrance that goes un-noticed or destory the covers which would make alot of noise.

Furthermore, we can bring EMP's, the robots will, even if boosted by Khorne, will be at least weakened by that. (assuming that doenst weaken our forces more? I doubt it)

-edit
this is assuming we are invading, choosing to destory the station is tactically simple.

-edit- also, we can start with whatever position our captian is as clearly he can act as a beach-head into the station.

We could, but if he's corrupted or something he'd still know those things. And a daemon possessing him would know all he knows, due to touching his mind.

Though honestly if this is a Khornate daemon it's not going to resort to such trickery. Daemons of Khorne generally just are angry and want to fight.

yeah, that was what I was thinking....khornate-followers don't pull that kind of thing most of the time so even if theres a chance...we can reasonably assume its not the case.

Anywho, we need someone to break the tie. Vote for Assist. Face punch the robots! Show them not to mess with our sons!

For the record, I always accept write-ins, but they are subject to GM veto. For your idea though Dragon, invading the station will involve that to a certain extent. There will be a reserve force to prevent being flanked and such. Also going to have extra ammunition, although that was mostly to justify the way the rolls worked in teh background. The main issue with EMPs is that these are DAOT tech robots, so many of them are hardenned. Some of the chaff will be dealt with, but the elite robots will just shrug it off. Also, Dragon, you will likely be the tie breaker in this vote. Rejoice in your power!

Yo, lurkers! Or Dragon, or whoever. Someone vote to break the tie. One of these:

[] Command
- The option to hang back, and not be a badass, letting our sons do all the heavy lifting.

[] Assist
- The option to be a badass and face punch robots. Papa Kesar shows his boys how it's done.

My commentary is totally objective, of course. :D

[X]Invade the station

[X] Command

I hate to pester, but since there's only minutes left...

+2 against daemons (Banish Runes)
+10 against daemons (For the Lost)
+20 to Primarch personal combat (Remembrance sword and Armor of the Lost)
+60 from leading from the front

We have a lot of bonuses here. Consider Assist instead of hanging back. This is a situation where our boys really need the support.
