wwwooooow, hope we get good loot...
on a different note....
hm......+20 for primarch vs 3 rerolls?
so say a roll has a DC 60 this has 40% chance of passing normal, 60% by primarch and 1-(0.4)^3=93.6% which is obviously far better....
However, if you have two rolls with say DC 50 and 60, then you have 50% and 40% for a total of 20% of passing both.
With primarch buff you have 70% and 60% for a total of 42% of passing both.
with rerolls you, in order to fail you have to:
(1): fail 4 times for the first to fail coming to a 1/16= 12.5% and then fail the second giving total of 5%. (chance of full failure, implying that you have 95% of either one succeeding)
(2): in the case you pass 1 first try and then fail the second 4 times, this has ......eeeeeh.....I'm getting lazy and I don't want to think about this anymore. This is getting more complicated then I want to deal with for dealing with combos....I'd have to make a table but suffice to say:
the rerolls are better for DC-rolls of at least 30-ish and less then a few rolls in a row....however,
obviously the rerolls don't help much after you run out so are less effective the more rolls there are or the worse the DC's are themselves.....if the DC is 101, you have 0% of passing with ANY number of rerolls but a 19% with primarch buff.
-edit- this makes me think this captian guy is pretty careful, its like he has lots of fallbacks like you mentioned but that once things go to hell in a basket his plans fall apart eventually and hes back to "norm". So I would say this is a pretty good trait, good job daemon hunter, its not that bad as its descriptive in the effect itself.
