[x] Activate the dimensional fulton and escape. One of you must live on and Ishmael has passed the torch to you.

He's chosen us to continue his legacy, and his path of redemption. Sometimes, you just have to honor that.

[x] Stop him, knock him out and portal him if that's what it takes, but Ishmael can't die here.

No, that's your role.

Your Duty.

His Absolution.

As much as I'd like to keep playing as Venom...I have a feeling this is where it ends.

Europa's next up. And it needs the real deal. Not just a successor.

Speaking about this...

Look, I get it; Venom's forged his own legend, his part of Big Boss.

But with how VC is, I'd rather not risk his head wound worsening, or his bionic arm being stolen, or worse, damaged.

As for the finale itself...

Fuckin' hell. Everything's just...I can't describe it.

Quite simply, we're at a crossroads. And I'm going for the man himself.

I want to play Venom as well, but I feel him bowing out now would be out of character for who we built him to be.

You guys do realize that the two Bosses are on a bit of a time crunch? If we delay Ishmael with a pointless effort to sacrifice ourselves for him (a second time), then the Lord of Dust might have enough time to pull another trick.

Acknowledge the sacrifice of a great man, take up the torch that has been passed down, and GTFO before the immediate area is reduced to radioactive dust.

Only reason I'm voting this way. The fate of the world is at stake. I don't want to roll dice.

Big Boss has saved the world before he can do so again. He doesn't need any distractions.

Same, but at the end of the day my reasoning is simple, I don't want Ahab to leave Miller, DD, Hana, and Quiet behind.
Pretty much my reasoning, Ishmael had his chance and threw it away in pursuit of his vengeance, this is him trying to make things right. Ahab still has shit left to do. A new world would be the perfect chance to truly build his own legacy, to shape what being Big Boss truly means.
I just don't want to risk that.

IC I think he'd try and tbh I'd like to see that last clash but I'd rather not risk it one way or another Ahab must come home

I remain conflicted.

This thing might not even work.

...Hell, we don't even know how long this whole thing's going to actually last.

In addition, we still haven't gotten to VC. And I highly doubt the fulton's going to MB.

The fulton'll work fine, but I'm far from convinced this is the end for the Lord of Dust. I expected it to get beaten back, but I'll believe it's dead when I see it flaking away into nothing.

The situation we're in isn't some daytime drama. Too much is on the line now, the fate of THOUSANDS OF WORLDS to distract Naked from his self-chosen mission. More over, isn't this what Outer Heaven is about? A place where soldiers can choose their own fates freely? Naked's not being sacrificed, thrown away by some shadowy figure for a move in the great game. He is willingly, knowingly making this choice of his own will without having been maneuvered into it. He does this not for orders, but out of LOVE. The love he has for his men, for the innocent and for the world itself.

You have to respect that.

Plus this way we can write omakes about how Naked doesn't die and the explosion sends him on a Quantum Leap style adventure.
