This type of cultivation is considered a meridian roll and requires a number of successes equal to five times the number of meridians used for the art. However each efficiency upgrade past the first increases the successes required by 20. Only arts which are mastered may be made more efficient.

Right now it seems like a better use of time to just get more meridians.

Defaulting to this because its the only major social link we didn't just see. I could probably be convinced to hit up Suyin's workshop because her social link is still at Rank 4 and having our trifecta of Rank 4 would be nice. Plus, considering previous experience, we'll even be able to use her first name in private! So might change later if I start leaning in that direction.

Maybe stop favoring Gu Xiulan over Li Suyin so much in this new year.

@yrsillar can you clarify what 'of the same type' means? It's clear that e.g. two Darkness Leg meridians could be merged, but what about Darkness Leg + Moon Leg or Darkness Arm + Darkness Leg?
 
I wonder if it is possible for someone of much higher cultivation to custom make an art for someone that is already maximum efficient? If it is Sun Ling has likely not needed to unlock that many meridians.
