There's zero indication of that. Claiming an Archetype is ludicruosly difficult and rare, Ridcully just lucked out in meandering into one that was essentially uncontested due to extremely specific requirements.
I think getting an archetype requires doing stuff with divinity on a regular basis...

Or maybe that just accelerated Rids getting one combined as you say no blind seer ATM.

Either way it was an accident.

Do they have any capacity for growth? I haven't kept up with the latest canon so this might be out-of-date but I was under the impression that there are no 'new' Necrons. Their tech, while better than anyone else's, hasn't improved since the War In Heaven. At least some Tomb Worlds and similar have been destroyed with no indication of replacement.
I believe they do have the ability to make more Necrons, though not necessarily make more thinky thinky necrons.

Its hard to judge since by Durin's lore the 40K crons should literally be asleep right then.

But, they're not.

To be entirely fair again, those bits were Avernus Wildlife, probably the more powerful kind as well. Wildlife that can reach into the Alpha + range and beyond or match titans 1v1.
You do realise that every single Primarch is an alpha-alpha + level psyker with Magnus as the only other human Apex right?

And surprisingly no...We've yet to encounter any wildlife that are that strong surprisingly. In fact none that are alpha. We've met peoples who are that strong (Queen Azshara so assumadly some other Sirens, Nyne queens like Lulana and older Therondy Dragons), but the closest has been the Deep Ones...and those are Guardians.

Good luck getting genetic material out of one of them :D

I know there's likely ones out there that are that powerful...but well. I kinda hope there isn't. Expanding's going be a bitch if there is.

Also given the Dragons never mind the Therondy Dragons...matching titans ain't a problem for Avernite wildlife.

Wait.

Is the Siren Queen a direct reference to world of warcraft?
Oh hello again. Nice to see you again.

And...probably not that direct, but hell we have Ridcully.

guess I should mention here that I was like 95% joking and don't mean any actual offense, sorry if that happened anyway. I know it can be hard to communicate that through text sometimes.
I don't take offence, though I do get irritated when people seem to put no thought into the criticism.

Still, my advice for when you're joking is emojis :D :p :) Etc. They generally give an idea or at least give the impression that a statement may be a joke or sarcasm.

do we even know about the Shamans did the Emperor tell Lin about them?
ye

She's close to claiming one though, I think. Maybe if we throw some beefcake NPCs and moral dilemmas at her, she'll take up the mantle and become a Bethesda protagonist? She could become our resident Lone Wanderer.
"Do you want to be good? Or do you want to be evil?"
"For fraks sake Rotbart stop trying to make me do paperwork."

Actually @Durin
You said that the battles will be staggered enough that warhost will be able to assist in all of 3 them.
1a. Would Eldar be willing to ferry our heroes from battle to battle? Because Paragon deathball would be a sight to see.
1b. Some of our most elite formations?
2. I assume we can't just ask Lulana to assist us in this? (Did we need to take diplomacy action to ask?)
Yes, the Sirens are Naga-expys. The local Siren Queendom is led by Queen Azshara from her capital city of Nazjatar.
Though they're expies only in name and general concept (half elves half sea-creatures), everything else is different.

It's also worth mentioning he staked his claim by being perhaps the one mortal seer to escape the green awaking without permanent harm. Which is both a stupidly impressive feat, and meant he was mortal MVP for an event with galactic level impact. I think the galactic level impact is the important bit, and events like that are fairly rare.

Eh, we mostly don't get to see Areatha's characterization, but it's been shown a few times. She's fiercely independent and individualistic, dislikes Rotbart and Avernite society, and frankly is motivated more by individuals than any overarching ideals or moral code, and loves the scope and depth of Avernus' mysteries.

I've been contemplating an omake of just how much her and Rotbart have to grate on one another because it's hilarious how at odds a lot of their values are.

Also probably the only seer to survive being dragged along to see Ynnead Vs Slaanesh which was probably the precipitating event of this whole archetype thing since it was where he lost his eyes.

No she's fine with avernite society, she even admires it, but then again she's always interested in how different peoples adapt to Avernus in different ways, but Avernites are especially interesting since they're a species that comes from off world and so wasn't built by the planet.

Rotbart in particular just grates on her because as you say individualistic and free spirited vs lets be honest kinda controlling and micromanagy.

The two respect each other, but as her description says they'll never really get along.

Other characteristics also include a deep seated curiosity hence her enthusiasm to help with research, wilful positivity in a universe of cynics (kinda like Vulkan to be honest) and a straightforward moral code.

But that's my take, so tis up to Durin now to decide.

Avernus is a hilariously communal society, where individualists are considered borderline suicidal. I know it hasn't come up in a while, but Avernites legitimately don't use the bathroom by themselves. It is a police state where the group is an all-compelling force people are expected to drop everything and fight and die for on a moments notice (and that's exactly what the militia does every time a rogue psyker gets out of hand).

It's your character dude, but Rotbart's controllingness, fierce sense of duty and obligation, and micromanagement are fundamentally endemic to Avernus society. Of course people are borderline obsessive compulsive and trying to control every little detail- you die if you aren't. Of course the lack of privacy is acceptable, privacy means no one can watch your back when the monsters sneak up on you. Of course you're obligated to grab an impaler and open up on the Daemons crawling out of that psyker- tens of billions have done the same before you, what is your life in the face of that?

Up at the top right of every thread page there's a little drop-down menu called "Thread Tools". If you mouse over it and click the "Vote Tally" option, you see a tally of the votes and the people who've voted for them. Clicking on one of the names takes you to the post in which that person voted for the option they're voted for. The names appear in order of voting, and with that you can tell where the plan is by clicking on the first person to have voted, which is typically where the plan itself is.

In this case, you go "Thread Tools", click "Vote Tally", and click "Enjou", which takes you to here.

Eh, Turoq lives or not, we'll still resort to the only solution we need- punching his tricks in the face.
Orks are uniting on their own power as well, after all.

Not my character any more me dude, I can only give my interpretation.

In that interpretation however I'd be very surprised if she's got major beef with that or things like a fierce sense of duty and obligation, those are traits she admires on people who annoy her less and even then she can respect them.

Every avernite people encountered so far is the same to one degree or another some taking it to the extreme like the Khowlse, the only exceptions to it that I know of are the Sirens because there are no Blink spiders under water who raised her, but even then this was part of her life as well since underwater can be just as if not more dangerous in some ways and the Therondy Dragons who are too powerful and territorial to give a shit. Even then she's very understanding of the necessities of survival and that...well people on Avernus for the most part are not Alphas who blink spider shy away from.

As her description says she cares very much for people and people can be collectivist, they can be individualistic and Avernus seems to encourage individual exceptionalism balanced with communal cooperation for survival (we've got things like the champions, but nobody ever goes anywhere alone unless they're trying death by wildlife). She cares about people both on a personal level like Ridcully and Lin as well as on a social level, since how they've adapted is fascinating to her and she tries to coopt what works and what doesn't.

To try and elaborate on what I feel her real issue with Rotbart is its this. The description says organisation, but to me at least its deeper than that since we know that Rotbart is a workaholic in the most outrageous sense of the word, to the point that when he's not doing something "work" related he gets incredibly stressed, anxious and nervous (remember that one omake where a mistake meant that he ended up with nothing to do for a day so he went around basically begging people to give him paper work?)

Even his free time is regimented, spending certain years focusing his time with certain people rather than just going over and saying hi. That to an extent is what grinds her gears. People on Avernus stop to smell the roses, relax with friends, have hobbies, they do things for fun, actual fun (probably one of our better accomplishments). Rotbart is work work work work and to her mind he can't stop working so "rest" is regimented sessions with friends rather than rest.

Its not entirely fair, to him that is fun, but by that same measure he can't get how she can just drift from one thing to another so easily and readily without a hard set schedule and plan for how the day is going to go and still manage to get everything done. Both options are equally valid and if they weren't as competent as they are would probably would and possibly should blow up in both their faces

In all honestly both of them dislike the other for one another isn't because either one of them is right or the other is necessarily wrong.

And to think we were marketing this place as a tourist attraction, successfully to!
Ehh probably not any more.

It only worked on the Core before people realised what that meant and we can't reach a wide enough audience for tourism to work on the unknowing.

Orks are uniting on their own power as well, after all.
That reminds me

@Durin
1. Have the eldar seen the phenomenon of divination resistant orks before?

I Can't believe my Goddess of Death is this dense.
I Can't believe my Goddess of Death is this dense.

It was done - after centuries of plotting, and waiting, and countless sacrifices, at last Isha had been freed of the Plague God's clutches. The Aeldari rejoiced as Isha assumed her role at the head of the aldari pantheon, accepting rulership over the living as Ynnead surrendered her regency with ernest eagerness. Isha was glad that there had been no friction with the hand over, and Ynnead herself had proved intriguing. She was surprisingly deferential to Isha in matters outside her domains of focus, something Isha found deeply refreshing to receive from a peer.

In truth the young goddess had been a great comfort to Isha as she recovered from her long nightmarish imprisonment. Having someone to lean on when it became clear how little of Kurnous was left had been a balm upon her grief, and Ynnead's quiet presence had calmed her greatly during her few panic attacks. The reserved goddess' mere presence seemed to calm Isha's niggling fears, her hesitant gentleness never failing to remind her that she was loved and safe. Isha wasn't exactly sure when that moved from appreciation to love, but in matters of the heart clear lines are rare.

For the Aeldari empathy is more than simple body language and implication, they are a psychic people and their ways reflect this. When an Aeldari lets their feelings show there is no risk of miscommunication. Isha did not need to ask to know Ynnead was interested in her, her unhidden heart was as obvious as a bouquet of flowers. In theory Isha would simply have to mirror the honesty of her would-be paramour to signal she wished to court her. In practice things did not go so easily.

At first Isha wondered if she had somehow misread Ynnead's feelings, mistaking a deep platonic bond for a romantic attraction. But her blushing and stuttering retreat when Isha briefly wore that dress put an end to that notion. So Isha began slowly increasing the blatancy of her affection. She smiled overly brightly, she let her hand linger on Ynnead's, found excuses to hug her, all manner of things that were about as subtle as a brick through a window. All were met with (adorable) stuttering and little more, save a hasty exist if Isha got too blatant.

Frustrated Isha turned to those that knew Ynnead well. Cegorach was deep in one of his laughing fits, so would be unavailable for a while, her conversation with Eldrad however proved enlightening. The man simply could not go more than three sentences without being ominously vague, and seemed to be instrinctly incapable of any great deal of emotional opness. Isha considered what spending millennia with only the likes of Cegroach and Eldrad as the peers would be like, and suddenly the entire situation made a great deal more sense.

Matters of the heart where almost never simple, and even the strongest and greatest of creatures could be hurt by incautious action, yet often inaction could become a small ever bleeding wound. The path forward would be fraught and full of risk. Fortunately, connections can solve many problems.

Ishas attempt to solve her relationship issues via application of divine divinations rapidly ran into a roadblock. Namely someone had beaten her to it, and Ridcully was apparently full up on his yearly quota of relationship drama. Retreating in the face of his grousing Isha at least took heart that Yennead had realized something was up. Even if she apparently still hadn't realized what. With knowledge that Yennead has sought the Blind Oracle's help, her offer for a nice walk in the hungering desert seemed promising.

The desert was a wonder! A land shaped by death and horror, yet its very nature of transgression had been turned upon itself. Beasts made from a million maddened souls striving to overcome their nature, creatures of hunger devoting themselves to art glorifying the power of love and hope, a beast of a million stolen faces preaching the virtues of compassion and redemption, dead things striving to Live, flowers cultivated in defiance of the desert! It was awash with monuments to the power of love, and those trying to unify life and death, that Ynnead had chosen so well was breathtaking.

The lord of the land greeted them with unpracticed ceremony, a vast leviathan struggling to learn how to be a queen. Her customs where crude, and quite clearly new, but Isha accepted the gesture in the spirit it was given. As she thanked Ynnead for taking her to such a place, and was rewarded with a subdued smile, Isha set out to finish the half made miracle in front of her. The strange creature that had begun this transformation had worked in the medium of flowers, but had not truly understood them so it was incomplete, something Isha would relish the chance remedy.

It was not going well. Something was missing. Her attempts to feed the flowers worked, but for some reason attempts to get them to grow without a feed of power where failing. She could feel energy locked and stagnant somehow, waiting for the right catalyst. She had grown so absorbed in her task that she was caught by surprise when Ynnead gently squeezed her shoulder, clearly intent on helping her. Isha favored her with a smile before taking her hand in hers and once more reaching out.

Slowly, hesitantly, Ynnead reached out to the flowers, Isha blushed silently as she felt their powers entwine. Then, Ynnead's power spoke of endings, of Rot… and rebirth. Isha froze for and for a fraction of a second she was elsewhere, the stagnant pool of potential became a vibrant cycle and the field bloomed with a riotous burst of new life. Isha laughed in honest delight, forgetting Propriety and simply pulling Ynnead into a tight embrace babbling excitedly about what the blending of their powers had birthed. Isha paused for breath and felt Yennead reach out to call one of their creations to her hand. With a nervous smile, she reached slowly and set the flower into Isha's hair. Isha went stock still, stunned by her beloved's forwardness, only to realize a heartbeat later than Ynnead had no idea of what the gesture meant. Isha's composure broke and she burst into giggles as she buried her head in Ynneads neck giggling openly at how utterly ridiculous her love was.

A breathless few minutes of later later, a soft silent cough drew their attention to their attendant. As she silently apologized with silent eloquence for the departure of her lord Isha felt quite embarrassed. That their new attendant seemed to be vaguely amused rather than offended by her rudeness did not exactly help. Still, the rest of their outing was wonderful. Their new guide proving to be a far better host than her lord. Ensuring a high degree of privacy while showing them a series of breathtaking vistas. While Ynnead never showed such boldness again, she seemed far more comfortable in Isha's presence, even if she seemed quite thoroughly unaware of the meaning of her actions. On their way out, their mute attendant handed them each a small box.

Isha peeked in hers, finding the first petal of the bloom somehow worked into a pendant, and inscribed with the words "May your love ever give death a purpose." Isha smiled and turned to a puzzled Ynnead, and advised her to wait until she was alone to open it.

Later that night, a ripple of shock and embarrassment tore through the palace of the gods. Isha smiled, and decided to make a point of wearing the pendant tomorrow.

@Durin Another bit of silly shipping floof.

Hum not so sure if this is a good idea. But posting in the case someone can do something better with this. So hear me out, Before we try to study the ork gods with the saint we could study/find the true name of strong 'daemon orks'. After all daemon are born from the domain of the gods and they are way weaker than the gods.

So since I not sure if this is stupid or not I had it post here^^. And I wonder if the same could be applied to the rest of the gods.
Edit.

We started that last turn so it's kind of late.

What about Headcrusha?
Where'z mah clawz? Where'z mah boyz? Where'z mah body? Where'z da ummie? All I seez 'n iz da weirdness, but I hearz it, I hearz Gork 'n Mork. Dey always speak to uz, always sayin' to Waagh, 'n dat's all I need.

"Foolish little Ork. Bit off more than you can chew, my boy? Tut tut tut."

Who dat?

'E was a fethery 'un, I'd give 'im dat.

"Didn't u hear me, bird-brain? I said Gork 'n Mork iz all I need!" I turned mah 'ead round, 'n opened mah mah jaw really 'ard. I launched mah own 'ead! I waz gonna gonna crush 'im "'IM DA BIGGEST! 'N DA STRONGEST! I'M DA ORK 'EAD, CRUSHA!"

"Not as planned, not as planned!"
very Orky viewpiont and canon

What about Headcrusha?
GnM don't have daemons to our knowledge.
Eadcrusha and co may count, but as far as we know GnM don't get Daemons and the souls of orks don't hang around as individual entities post mortem.

If we wanna try divining names we're gonna need to finish researching them ironically :).

Though that being said we may wanna research the Wyverns. If we learn more about their power we maybe able to figure out if we can do something to orks growing rate or something.

A transcendent is one who has reached into the realm of the Gods and come away with immortality and the ability to snap reality and destiny over their knees.

You think I'm kidding this is literally canon.

Reality bends to the benefits of beings like Primarchs and Phoenix Lords to the point that it can be physically painful for seers to try and see futures where they're acting against them its part of why the HH was so screwy and hard to predict. Fate trying to conform to 18 different view points, clashing with each other.

And yeah I do dispute that, she can use most of the powers, but she can't do everything. She can't divine as well as Ridcully to see and sneak into the realm of the Gods, she can't use sorcery like Ahriman who intends to transcend himself into divinity and possibly eat Tzeench itself, she can't counter spell as well as Lulana, craft like Vulkan and lets not even get into the crap Emps pulls.

At this point I think you just don't like her which is fine, but stop onerously accusing her of being a mary sue when literally every single one of them could be called a mary sue some on a scale even larger than her.
She can do everything else better than all of those people though. You're talking about incredibly high level specialists being better than her in their one specialty. I'm also not sure she can't counter spell as well as Lulana. The others are transcendent or near transcendent abilities in their specific specialties.

Emps died because of his own mistakes. Aretha has a better record of not dying than Primarchs by far, plus we could add in not falling. Primarchs are a serious gamble really. It's entirely arguable that Primarchs were their own worse enemies and had a negative impact on the galaxy overall. Phoenix Lords are basically channels for divine power of Khaine rather than having that power inherent in themselves, and they're highly specialized which rules them out on their own.

You think that trying to precog Aretha wouldn't cause pain too?

The most versatile Transcendents would be the Emperor who is ruled out of being a Mary Sue by making mistakes so big he died of them, and The Silent King who is ruled out because of desiring the extermination of all life.
