For a grand total of an of 5%-30% bonus to killing turoq while leaving the tens of billions chaotic invaders unmolested.Areatha has a 50-75 chance of killing Turoq while the strike forces has a 80 percent chance.
Not worth it.
Even with areathra, turoq is more likely to die than not die. And we're having trouble because we can only use so much reinforcements before the dark mech switch targets. Which is why the eldar reinforcement is more valuable.
There's no indication that headcapping turoq will cause his force to devolve into infighting quickly enough to help with this attack. Even if it does, it's more likely to split into multiple raiding parties like the angel of betrayal's fleet.
The dark mech won't be overly hampered by this kind of attack.
The threat of turoq is likely to end when this invasion fails. He'll probally die to areathra, and if he suicides he'll be stuck in the warp for up to a century, heavily in favor debt, and fending off rivals while we build up.
Meanwhile, if we headcap him, then we still have to fight the invasion force, and while we're recovering we're going to have to deal with waagh tugozak.
The benefits of warhost vs strikeforce are entirely disproportionate.
