Hey, I'm not saying everyone who votes for that wants that.
I'm sure a bunch of people want high difficulty for better rewards.

But i still think a huge chunk are just doing it for lulz.

That's not necessarily true. I don't want to take the risk inherent in assuming that death has no consequences, but assuming that anyone that makes that choice is trying to trash the quest is entirely unfair.

I don't want a boring quest and I do plan to stick around. We could be a young child of a top Earth ninja, that is sent on a long term infiltration of Konoha. Now that would be a very interesting plot line. We have to keep our cover, get info to our handler, and become kick ass. Also it feels more ninja than the battle wizards Naruto normally has running around. Yes, they are battle wizards, not ninja. Sorry Kakashi, you lost all respect when you had to use super eye powers to even be useful in Shippunden.
