It's not the kitchen. Videos, DVDs, film reels and out of date radios litter the various available surfaces. But more than anything else, there are comics. Stacks, piles, drifts of them, reaching up to the heavens and off into infinity. Everything DC ever produced, every published work and unpublished author's note.
Would have thought Paul could've scanned all that DC material when he had the chance with his ring.

I'll add my 2 cents about the current episode.

I really liked some of the alt lanters Paul, indigo especially.

Then we had the DLC episode which was basically the definition of an author tract and was meh.

We then add 2 episodes of Paul to establish what was happening to him though it could easily have been condensed to 1, still ok though.

The avatar part could have been great, but it was like setting the fondation of a story just to leave it there, it was kind of frustrating in that regard, I'd much rather have had more of it so it felt complete and could stand on its own like the other snippets.

Then we got to the MLP part which again was basically just an author tract with a side dish of 'Remember how I like this show guys? Ain't ponies just the cutest?' and was easily one of the most mediocre part of the episode.

Captain planet was pretty funny, props on that one.

KFP was ok, though it was just starting to be more of the same at this point, the ending of it was good with how it confirmed what was happening.

The current parts were mostly meh for me, it was just more meta added on the pile of meta we've had this whole episode. It loses its impact after a certain point and just doesn't elicit much of a response beyond 'oh this again'.

Now we get two more chapters to tie up the whole thing and get the plot back on track, so yeah for an april fool which was naturally gonna be self indulging it was still good, though it got repetitive after a while so I'm glad it's over with. Anyhow, onto greener pastures we go. Get it? Cause the next episode name is 'Triumph of the Will' eh eh eh, ok I'll see myself out now.

Huh...the only thing that's confusing for me wrt the league finding out about what OL is...Zoat said the only one who would find out is KF, WAY late in the story.
Just because they heard Ambush Bug doesn't mean they actually believe him; he's pretty blatantly crazy. And actually taking him seriously would mean them considering the possibility that they are fictional characters, which would be a hard sell even for someone not an obvious lunatic.

Too bad for them that they are Earth-16
Pretty much Inter-Dimensional Virgins compared to the other DC Earths

But Hey, at least they don't have to deal with Superboy Prime and CosmicGod!Amazo

Screw the fact that Ambush Bug was ranting, OL was following completely coherently. It's OBVIOUS he wasn't crazy.

Cornwall Boy: "Does anyone know what actually just happened?"

Orange Lantern: "Well...uh...the logical explanation for all this is-"

Batman: "I want the whole truth of what just happened and what exactly is DC Editorial. That's an Order."

OL: "...fuck."

Batman: "Of course I knew all along. Naturally I had a contingency plan in place in case the show we were hypothetically part of was cancelled."

OL: "You were prepared for being fictional? And somehow arranged for me to show up? How?!"

Batman: "I'm Batman."

OL: "...I left myself wide open for that one."

I don't see why this would be a problem, really? Surely they have the concept of Heinlein's 'Fictons' interacting with one another, or of the Simulation Hypothesis, or that data and information can transfer between dimensions and planes more readily than entities, and as such can plausibly end up as fiction or mythology or similar? Or deity-like agents seeding the history of one area as fiction of another? Or of the New Age concepts that belief influences spiritual, non-local reality, and that settings and worlds that many believe in and care about are actually really created in some meaningful way, 'over there'?

why is everyone laughing at the worm comparison?
and why am i the only one to like Post-Flashpoint?
Because it's a flawed comparison. Worm doesn't attempt to be realistic in any way other than not having the status quo be god. The entire setting is an in-universe plot from one side to intentionally bring about the worst possible end, and a series of horrible decisions from the other side in a mostly failed attempt to get a slightly less bad end.
Are you primarily a Joker/Harley Quin fan? They're pretty much the only ones that got decent Nu52 showings. Personally, I'm bitter about how they COMPLETELY DESTROYED Jaime Rayes's character arc.

@Mr Zoat

What did you think of my idea about the fictional thing, and sorts of ways that people can have context for that sort of thing and be chill for it?

Also, if you ARE fictional but still sapient, you can totally start manipulating the tropes and narrative structure and rules of your setting and any sort of narrative causality that's going on to achieve your goals, if you are good at it.

If you're fictional but still purposive, then in what way are you fictional? The fact that a load of voyeurs from a parallel universe want to waste huge amounts of time staring at you is hardly your fault.
