Interesting. So it sounds like we might be getting the time skip some people wanted since this seems to imply that he's been the avatar-world for awhile.

You know, if this is what I think it is it'd be a great way to add some character development. Paul having spent sometime in another universe rather than just reliving a tiny part of someone else life would be most interesting and we watch as he repeat the process through a couple of different universes before being sent back home having had an enlightening experience. It's a shame there's only one more avatar chapter though, I wouldn't mind reading 4-5 more of those.

Anyway for this universe I assume he had access to the Ophidian, but not his lantern ring, so he'd be able to use some tricks, but would still be extremely limited.

Hmm...I wonder what the timeline is for this. He remembers Clark Kent, but talks like it was a long time ago.

He also looks old enough to pass as a sage, apparently. He remembers being Caucasian but not ATLA meta knowledge.

How old is Paul in this universe? It sounds like he's been there a while, and he's old enough to be mistaken for a sage, but I also remember a young-looking fire-sage, so he could be any age at this point.

I'm a bit disappointed we're not going to see more than one update to this, because this seems very interesting. And since it seems to be the main paragon Paul, we're not likely to see any updates to this once he goes back.

This may or may not be a good thing. If one gives a shit about the comics, Azula eventually stabilized to the point she stopped hearing voices. She even decided to start supporting Zuko's rule . . . By trying to engineer a situation that would make him a more ruthless ruler, because she honestly thinks that's the best way to help him.

I think the plan involved kidnapping children and making it look like some kind of spirit was responsible. My memory is a little fuzzy. Though I do remember she had followers.

Still . . . I'm a little sad to see this starts after all the exciting bits have already happened.

Orange Lantern Paul trying to get Azula therapy.

Well this is interesting, Azula's meltdown did have some serious similarities to Orange Light induced crazy.

Um question @Mr Zoat are you using the tie in Comic Books for this? I ask because they include some serious political manoeuvring and a quite believable depiction of the aftermath of the Hundred Year War.

If its not presumptuous I recommend reading these three world building experiments by Lavanya Six 2075: A Style Guide infused TLoK , 1632'd; Or, West Virginian Yankees in King Bumi's Court , Worldbuilding Outline: The Fire Nation Colonies Endure

Which explore the underlying Avatar politics and world building.
