Well done good sir I applaud you
Paul!"Well… Ambush Bug isn't here and we've got the pod. We'll have to see what Kaldur and Icon think, but I can't see any reason to stay. We'll probably be heading back in a few minutes."
Since Starfire-16 is still on Tamaran under the thumb of the Psions (or someone even grimmer) that's not going to be too hard.better avoid Starfire for a little while, you know, just in case.
I've never played World of Warcraft. In fact, the only Warcraft game I've played is Hearthstone.Sorry if this has been answered before, but do we know what Blight Up Your Life references? I'm think Warcraft, but seeing the Iron Kingdoms would be fun.
At this exact moment, Citadel-aligned Gordanian/Branx clones.Since Starfire-16 is still on Tamaran under the thumb of the Psions (or someone even grimmer) that's not going to be too hard.
I get a sudden flash of what having sex with Komand'r was like.
It's liable to be more common when describing climatologist and meteorologists.Yeah, uh, anyone with 'Mild-mannered' in their description is probably superhero material.
So, part of the SI process is getting your setting-specific metaknowledge stripped.
Amen to that, I mean sure you can keep some basic info on how the world works, but knowing all the important plot points generally just leads to a somewhat dull story where the SI magically manages to do fix with little effort on their part.I wish much more SI fic writers would do it that way. Previously normal people struggling with a strange new universe often is more interesting to read than fixfics where they know more than anyone else around.

There's a couple of good ones out there, recently I've read Andoriol One Piece SI and RWBY SI, they're both pretty good, though the one piece one appears to dead or on hiatus right now. I've read a bunch of others I'd recommend if they hadn't died too early, there's a few good quality ASOIAF SI's you can find on spacebattles if you're into that kind of thing. @Hiver often does SI's though they tend to be more slice of life.I love this story and the directions it goes, but I often find myself wanting more good SI fiction. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
not quite, both the main paul and grayven have their setting specific knowledge intactSo, part of the SI process is getting your setting-specific metaknowledge stripped.
No they didn't. They had their general DC knowledge intact.not quite, both the main paul and grayven have their setting specific knowledge intact
Could you explain that for someone who doesn't know anything about that setting? And do we know it's not Dragon Age?
Then how come they keep on knowing highly specific things that happen in their specific setting?
Yse, though none of them had cause to think about it while he was in their heads.
Even Blue Lantern Paul?Yse, though none of them had cause to think about it while he was in their heads.
Hm. No, let's say he doesn't remember Young Justice either.
I don't get what he did there? could u tell meI see what you did there. Especially considering that that's what's happening over in the DCAU.
WoG is that the OL that ended up in Justice League couldn't easily get ahold of a lantern, so he keeps his ring hidden and instead uses asteroid mining money as his primary means of agency.
by justice league u mean the blue one?WoG is that the OL that ended up in Justice League couldn't easily get ahold of a lantern, so he keeps his ring hidden and instead uses asteroid mining money as his primary means of agency.
Remember, Grayven is an accident. Whatever put the SIs into place didn't mean to place Grayven. That's interesting, because Grayven remembers Earth-50's setting specific knowledge. Blue Lantern losing his information of Earth 16 means that either he was missing it from the start (which is damn odd) or main timeline Paul is 'special' and there's some kind of defenses up. I'm inclined towards it being the latter, because as a New God, it's reasonably to believe that Grayven has the right metaphysical structure to avoid that. Or that by coming to him, originally, whatever memory block defenses existed were bypassed.
hmm.
