"Well… Ambush Bug isn't here and we've got the pod. We'll have to see what Kaldur and Icon think, but I can't see any reason to stay. We'll probably be heading back in a few minutes."
Paul!
You're taunting the universe!
Again!

better avoid Starfire for a little while, you know, just in case.
Since Starfire-16 is still on Tamaran under the thumb of the Psions (or someone even grimmer) that's not going to be too hard.

Sorry if this has been answered before, but do we know what Blight Up Your Life references? I'm think Warcraft, but seeing the Iron Kingdoms would be fun.
I've never played World of Warcraft. In fact, the only Warcraft game I've played is Hearthstone.

At this exact moment, Citadel-aligned Gordanian/Branx clones.

I love this story and the directions it goes, but I often find myself wanting more good SI fiction. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I wish much more SI fic writers would do it that way. Previously normal people struggling with a strange new universe often is more interesting to read than fixfics where they know more than anyone else around.
Amen to that, I mean sure you can keep some basic info on how the world works, but knowing all the important plot points generally just leads to a somewhat dull story where the SI magically manages to do fix with little effort on their part.

There's a couple of good ones out there, recently I've read Andoriol One Piece SI and RWBY SI, they're both pretty good, though the one piece one appears to dead or on hiatus right now. I've read a bunch of others I'd recommend if they hadn't died too early, there's a few good quality ASOIAF SI's you can find on spacebattles if you're into that kind of thing. @Hiver often does SI's though they tend to be more slice of life.

No they didn't. They had their general DC knowledge intact.
Then how come they keep on knowing highly specific things that happen in their specific setting?
The beast? that dryad who was used as a hellgate? that fear elemental? that muse kept in a rape dungeon? the sword of the second and third? etc... all those things are things that occur in their specific instance of DC
their metaknowledge is not perfectly matched, but it was not stripped away

Hellblazer 16 isn't Hellblazer 1. They remember Hellblazer 1. They are a lot of similarities, but there are also differences.

Hm. No, let's say he doesn't remember Young Justice either.

That's interesting, because Grayven remembers Earth-50's setting specific knowledge. Blue Lantern losing his information of Earth 16 means that either he was missing it from the start (which is damn odd) or main timeline Paul is 'special' and there's some kind of defenses up. I'm inclined towards it being the latter, because as a New God, it's reasonably to believe that Grayven has the right metaphysical structure to avoid that. Or that by coming to him, originally, whatever memory block defenses existed were bypassed.

hmm.

Remember, Grayven is an accident. Whatever put the SIs into place didn't mean to place Grayven.
