:o he liked an non SI Paul! Hallelujah! :p
So far as I have seen RL hasn't had anything easy or handed to him on top of which in his first showing he righted a wrong through completely legal manners and threatened someone with paperwork. :D

He is also living in Teen Titans land, which was an awesome show and automatically gets the chapter a +2 save vs criticism. :lol

So were getting some kind of Paul see's what his counterparts have been up to due to him getting attacked by the reality warping Ambush Bug thing?

huh.

Hopefully that means we will see more of smooth criminal Blue Lantern Paul and his efforts to instruct the next generation of Super criminals. What I like Blue Lantern Paul.

This should be interesting, I do like the interaction between Red Lantern Paul and well everyone, his being in a constant state of manic fury was hilarious and well written. I am not sure where these guys not being real space cops came from evidence wise and was a little confused as to why them wanting to take the comparable to a krptonian strength criminal off world was a bad thing. Unless I am mistaken they are hunting Blackfire for legitimate crimes and case of mistaken identity aside apparently want to turn her over to the wronged party.

But anyway, I do like where this is going. To be fair to teen titans the storyline got relatively dark and serious with the Trigon plotline and some of the Slade stuff, admittly Slade probably isn't a problem here due to Red Lantern Paul respective power level and state of mind.

So, we have an Orange Lantern Young Justice (Paul)...

A Yellow Lantern Renegade...

A Blue Lantern Crime Syndicate...

A Red Lantern Teen Titans...

Now we just need a Green, Indigo, and Violet Paul...

Then, as per Captain Planet Rules, all seven of them will merge to create White Lantern Paul to defeat Black Lantern Paul at the climax.

By their powers' combined will the multiverse be saved!

dont we already have an anti-green?

I thought 'hir/hirs/hirself' were the hermaphrodite pronouns? At least, as used by half the furries I know. (No, I'm using that correctly in this instance...no I'm not kidding!)

Although, it now occurs to me that he might be thinking of the Xir set, which IS considered neutral and is getting rather popular.

Because Blackfire hasn't committed any crimes in the Solar System, on Earth, or in the United States.

And since she is in the Solar System, on Earth, in the United States that's the only thing that matters unless the Aliens in question have an extradition treaty with the US.

Furthermore if the crime was legitimate, the planet in question could have contacted the Green Lanterns and requested they apprehend Blackfire.

Yet they didn't do that, which throws doubt on just how accurate their claim of Blackfire as a criminal is.

"If you wish to register a formal complaint about my conduct, travel to Ysmault, request and complete form seven zero one b and then prove your worth by defeating Senior Lantern Kultonius in single combat. Then submit the form as directed." I nod. "Farewell."
I wholeheartedly approve of this bureaucratic system. We should use it in real life.

Now we just need a Green, Indigo, and Violet Paul...
I believe Zoat has mentioned that Violet Paul is in the Ame-Comi verse as its only male hero.

And Indigo and Black have fan art versions at least.

... where is part 1 though 20?
also, using the same red color for the red lantern version and the renegade orange lantern (now yellow) is confusing.

... actually there is getting to be so many alternates of this that it would be great if you placed a written identifier for each version story at the title. instead of using color coding entirely.

Hope Pauls update was also out of order... this is a glimpse at what Rage Paul is doing.

"Was accused of stealing, Mister Grayson. She has not been convicted. And if their guild ever sorts out an extradition treaty with Earth or with the United States of America, she may in the fullness of time face trial for it. In the mean time-" I turn to Komand'r, eyebrows slightly raised. "-dare I express the hope that you have not committed any crimes during your stay on Earth?"

he appears to give just about zero fucks about a theft committed light years away, but seems extremely pissed theses yahoos came in shooting without a care for jurisdiction or collateral damage. which makes sense, why should he care about some expensive bauble more than some idots who put his charges in danger because they were too lazy to do there job properly?

"Ring, give me the non-emergency number for the Jump City Police Department, would you?"

"ERRRRRwrrrrrrrrrrrrrahhHHH."

Helpful as ever, but the phone sounds like it's dialling.

looks like ringistro has some new competition for best ring.

have to say, I rather like the red corps style. One unified complaint form and a system that makes sure it isn't abused.

Its amusing to see an instance of paul who is simply incapable of putting up with everyone's bullshit and stupidity, and has a ring that makes him uniquely well suited to throttle people until they stop being gits/die horribly. I also suspect Blackfire might change her tune at some point, she doesn't strike me as the sort to have enofgh self control to be lawabaidng, and I doubt he will have much patience for someone stupid enough to break the law while living under the same roof as him.

Fair enough, but didn't Blackfire later fake a invasion of her home world and try to sell her sister into slavery in the show? In the context of those actions saying Blackfire isn't a criminal or at least criminally inclined is a bit much.

Then again I suppose she hasn't done that yet and Paul does like showing criminals a better way so consider my objection withdrawn.

I really, really want OL to pop into this universe.

And for RL to be PISSED that he got stuck with this place while OL got a reasonable version.

And then OL assimilates RL's ring/lantern so he doesn't have to be angry all the time.

I'm curious what this version of Paul looks like. Desire allowed him to assume his idealized form.

In contrast, Rage lends itself to destruction. RedPaul likely had to remove much frailty from himself in order to deal with the Atrocitus and the Inversions, and his very nature as a red lantern could mean he got stuck with a new anatomy. So one way or another, I'm guessing he purged all that pathetic weakness from his body.

At a guess, that means he has a strongly muscled and severe countenance. And maybe is biologically in his mid-twenties, for optimal physical ability.

Also interested to see more of what limits red light puts on his abilities. I imagine with some practice he could get pretty good at 'faking it' as Pavlos does with Orange Light, but this Paul's only had the ring for a month and a half in this continuity. Red Light should still be imposing pretty hard on his personality and capacity for his powers.

This was a great chapter. Love the mostly controlled but biting rage. And hoping Orange and Red Paul meet soon.
—————————————————————————————
OL and RL float together, facing a horribly dressed opponent.

"I'm Orange Lantern 2814!"

"And I'm Red Lantern 2814!"

Hands clasp.

""Wonder Twin Powers Activate!""

A complex and frightening looking orange cannon with a glowing red interior forms from their combined figures.

""Ambush Bug, we want you gone!""
