The funny thing is, given the frequent blow outs over Grayven, I'd half think this applies both in story and meta wise.

Hah! I quite like Grayven, especially now that he's having to work without the Orange ring. It really brings out the resourcefulness in him, and it's interesting watching him think without the constant influx of Orange light warping him.

I've read all of the Power Girl arc of New52: Worlds Finest, and she is depicted very strongly implicitly as an exhibishionist, so yes, she does.
Come to think of it, that ring AI is going to cause interesting reactions with the Gls.
He really is mostly inadvertently collecting an entire array of equipment and personal features that scream "cliche supervillain". Add some skulls and/or spikes to his armor and he'd be all the way there.

The problem isn't so much that one specific female character or another that is dressed skimpily, its that they all are. Have you seen what Waller was supposed to look like in that Nu52 thing that was totally never made, DC is out of business?

His girlfriend loves him. And fewer people shoot holes in him with radion blasters, so that's a plus.
