Nice to see her recovery is going well.

Did Paul check up on the Muse since rescuing her?

So to recap, Euanthe wanted to have eldritch cross-species sex with Paul, but Paul deflected her by giving her an alien plant and doing a mental checkup on her?
They brought new life into the world, strengthened the social bond between them and both came away happy.
A highly successful date by most standards.

When he overthrows the British government and puts a Red Lantern in charge of the country.
About time we brought the Red Coats back.

"You have… Nice.. meat."

I look away from the blooming walls and back to Euanthe. "Um, thank you?"
Little does OL know but she has X-ray vision
And if you can't be as you were, perhaps you could become something else instead?"

"I think that I would like that."
Interesting to see how this might develop.
Whoa, extra length update.
I think Zoat makes segments long enough that you get a full update even if you skip the song lyrics, and if there's only ~2k words worth of content aside from that it's better not to split it up.
Hmm...so is Euanthe the equivalent of Ixy for Paragon team?
Seems like she will either be more of a support staff type, possibly a medic with magic healing herbs, or similar as opposed to an active part of the combat team.
The Renegade does eventually meet her.

That's sounds like it's going to be interesting. I look forward to it.

@Mr Zoat, the song you linked in the last chapter is part of a playlist, if this is your youtube account's playlist, nice taste in music, but might want to link to a non-playlisted version of the song, if not, nevermind

He has in the past said that he thinks it's a good idea to recruit from as varied a selection of powers as possible, instead of just adding more punchy guys. And while I don't know exactly what she can do, she definitely doesn't have the same powerset as anyone on the Team.

Wonder Woman will likely be pleased; Euanthe is a woman and a minor Greek mythic entity.

Given Atlanteia and Phoebe, I am pretty sure the answer to that question is that they can understand such things perfectly fine.
Some do, some don't; she's in the "don't" category.

She can probably help with stuff like deforestation. Maybe famine if she's okay with harvesting crops.
She shared that alien fruit with OL, and so clearly isn't against the consumption of plants under all circumstances.

She might feel different about fruit and vegetables. Fruit is meant to be eaten by the plant, harvesting vegetables usually kills the plant.
Then again, both crops and fruits are "meant" to be eaten. Crops are generally the product of a long and elaborate selective breeding campaign, and wouldn't even exist in large or any amounts without human intervention.

In terms of Euanthe on the justice league, I'd say that her primary utility wouldn't be in fighting supervillians or natural disasters or even addressing famines, it would be in things like gathering information to enforce anti-pollution laws, cleaning up long term pollution, and eventually things like coming up with new farming methods. (Our current methods are based on monocultures, which we know are kinda crap.) She could probably accelerate efforts to find a better alternative, and could probably help settle a lot of the debates about organic agriculture- use of fertilizers, pesticides, GMO's, etc, etc.

In addition, it seems kinda odd for her to make the preservation of people her primary goal - she's not human, nor particularly involved with humans. As part of the green, forwarding it's interests would probably be her primary goal, which is why I suggest combating pollution and coming up with more ecologically friendly methods of agriculture. Though to be honest, I have no idea what interests the green even has. How do plants feel about things like logging, agriculture, etc?

Well, that was weird. I didn't get any notification that you had posted this. I should probably go and see if can change that. It's a shame, really, that i don't read Renegade Paul. But i really can't get myself to read it. I hate, absolutely despise, going renegade in RPG's with a moral side to it. I can't bring myself to do it. This is much the same. I really don't condone Paul's choices and get all icky when i read it. I might try to suck it up and try again at some point in the future, but not for the time being.
