Doesn't he still have most of the kryptonian/human matrix stored in his ring?

That's a pretty easy method of immortality with very few drawbacks.
Other than having half your physiology replaced with alien tissue? They also don't know what health problems Kon might experience in future; canonically, he couldn't grow and certainly wasn't unageing. Certainly, anyone who went through it would be infertile.

Also, he wouldn't have any idea how to do it with women. So very nearly half the population wouldnt be immortal.

The only ones readily available have some pretty severe side effects. Plus, the people he really cares about are either young, ageless or hard to affect using conventional techniques.

Does this mean that once renegade realizes the problem with Alan Grayven will just awaken him so he can access the green light on his own? No more aging for Alan.

I feel obliged to say that not only is he dumb, but also a sissy! And his clothes are stupid! And he talks weird. Yeah.
I feel obliged to correct you. If he was dumb and sissy he wouldn't manage to do all the stuff he pulled. Stuff with Black Hand, with Scar, with Krona, and with whole BLC and BN to name a few.
His clothes aren't stupid, you simply do not understand other races' fashion sense.
And for talking weird- well duh, he is billions of years old being from another dimension.
Yeah.
:)

(( By the way, how's Shadow Corps doing? )) :D

They don't even have a zeta tube. There is no advanced technology on the Island that von Gunther didn't build. By law, there can't be. They are a long way away from accepting an internet connection.
Thus his suggestion of a Dolmen Gate a few snippets back.

Encouraging trade with the Atlanteans certainly has possibilities; magic isn't outlawed, so that's one legal hurdle less. It would let him get a foot in the door on the issue of breaking Themysciran isolation. And the Amazons would probably be more comfortable with advanced magic than advanced technology anyway, as they already have some.

The purpose of a modern judicial system isn't to serve out 'vengeance' or some deluded form of 'justice'. It is to keep offenders of crime from the general public, and to hopefully rehabilitate them so that they may safely be put back into regular society.

Arguably the largest purpose of the US justice system is to supply cheap or free labor to certain industries. It's got a bunch of other purposes, but rehabilitation barely rates. Vengeance is probably as important.

Of course, the US justice system emerged in the aftermath of our civil war to replace slavery, so it's not exactly modern. But it is the justice system we're talking about.

They also share some common culture, don't they?

He could probably work that out, with a little help from the Genomorphs. And he is aware that Karsta and Kara might be around somewhere.

Grayven doesn't spend much time with Alan. Alan also doesn't have a source of green light, unlike John's GCPB back door.

Why?

Humans and Kryptonians are genetically cross compatible, and Humans and Thanagarians, and Humans and Tamaranians, and Humans and Vuldarian's, and Humans and Martians, and Humans and New God's, and Humans and Old God's, and Humans and Olympians, and Humans and Demons, and Humans and Angels.

Personally I blame the Life Entity sitting on Earth the past couple billion years for that oddness of Human genetics.

I don't think we have an example of a naturally cross species individual on Earth-16. But, yeah, Life Entity wanting grandkids is probably in effect.

That myth never made any sense to me. The evils start off in the box, so they aren't affecting the world. Then they escape, so they are affecting it. That's fine, makes perfect sense. Hope, however, starts in the box and STAYS in the box, yet is in the world the whole time. What?

Ah, I see what the problem is. Its two fold;
  1. You're reading an extremely popular bastardization of the myth, translated by people who weren't Hellenists and didn't understand Hellenistic philosophy. Its not your fault, loads of people read the one you did. In the original myths, Hope leaves the box.
  2. The Greeks were really f&%$ing depressing/depressed, and they put Hope in that box for a reason. They considered Hope to be every bit as corruptive, as malign, and as deadly as War, Famine, Disease, and so on. Hope was at the bottom of the box because it was the worst of the worst.

It should be noted that before pandora opened the box all life was stuck in a near suicidal state of ennui. Due to the simple fact that they had no hope at all. To look at a new day did not say to them say things could be different, or equivalent to the last- instead that it had to be horrid. That box needed opening and to this day I remain proud in my role in the orchestration of those events.

You may thank me at your leisure- I accept fresh cadavers, human cattle and arcane tomes.

Magic based life forms can cheat, but in this setting most of those pairings wouldn't work, not without a lot of help. Kon isn't the result of a Kryptonian and a Human having a child. His body is a taxidermist's nightmare of mixed tissues from three unrelated species because that was what was needed to make it work.

Humans and Kryptonians are genetically cross compatible,
Explicitly shown to be false, in Paul's first conversation with Lex.
and Humans and Thanagarians,
In Earth 12's future. We're talking about Earth 16's present.
and Humans and Tamaranians,
I tried looking for Human/Tamaranian hybrids, but all Google could find was fanfiction OCs. Cite?
and Humans and Vuldarian's,
I'm reasonably certain that Zoat expressed a distinct hatred of that part of Guy's backstory at some point. Around when Grayven was fighting Guy 50, I believe.
and Humans and Martians,
I suppose a sufficiently skilled shapeshifter could pull it off, but if the New Hybrids are anything to go by they only inherit pyrophobia.
and Humans and New God's,
Grayven, get your pants off!
and Humans and Old God's,
Innsmouth is DC canon?
and Humans and Olympians,
I didn't realize half-mortals inherited the longevity of their divine parents.
and Humans and Demons,
You aren't even thinking about what you're suggesting anymore, are you?
and Humans and Angels.
I'll take that as a no.

I'd blame it on everything else being weird, if you take another look at the list.

On Ben 10, humans are event worse. Humans are cross compatible with these.

not without a lot of help.
*points at the life entity*

Humans have had something helping them since the dawn of their species. :lol

Heck look what Ion exposure did to the Guardians after a few million years.

Mar'i Grayson.

Both Raven and Lady Blaze are half demons.
I'll take that as a no.

Michael had a daughter with a human, they named her Elaine.
