Typo:

We turn and walk away from the disused warehouse where we carried out our interrogation, the case vibrating slightly as Mister Cobblepot struggles against in bonds.
his"

And that's why Batman doesn't like other heroes in his cities. Because once you've dealt with a xenotech wielding demon lord, a man dressed as a bat just isn't so scary anymore.
Of course, Robin didn't point out that he's Dannered and could pop the guy's head like a grape. Being a sneakiness-oriented type he'd probably like to save that little revelation for a special occasion for anyone who doesn't already know it.

*BLAM!* *BLAM!* *BLAM!*

"Ha! Finally got the drop on...him?"

"You didn't think guns actually worked on me, did you? Hehhehheh."

While funny, didn't Killer Croc break his fingers on Robin's face almost half a year before present? I would think that bit of information would have propagated by now.

what is the chances of president grayven? because i will be honest i mostly read this fic for grayven, paul is a bit boring and robotic at times to me.

Put in the roughest possible nutshell, sentinence is sense-of-self, sapience is ability to use tools.
I think that's going in the wrong direction. Sapience is sense-of-identity. Sentience is ability-to-perceive.

More specifically, sapience is the ability to reason about one's own reasoning. Sentience is the ability to perceive the world as something distinct from the thing perceiving.

EDIT: Cleaned up

Sentience.

Dictionary.com says "The capacity for sensation or feeling."
Wikipedia says "Sentience is the capacity to feel, perceive, or experience subjectively."

Sapience.

Dictionary.com says "Having or showing great wisdom or sound judgement."
Wikipedia says "Wisdom or sapience is the ability to think and act using knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense, and insight."

He was not born in the USA, true. However all it takes is another Amendment to the constitution, and Grayven's very very popular.

President Grayven?

"And thanks to the good work of Doctor von Schadel and the UnCorporation, I am the first American President who can be truly said to support the right of Americans to bear arms. Exactly where they end up attached is a bit of a toss-up, though."

Any chairs it can generate are designed to be blunt instruments.

And now all I can think about is OL turning everything in the base into a weapon...

"As you can see, the toilet seat comes with easy unlatchable attachments, allowing you to turn it into a makeshift boomerang. Inside is crumbler technology set to prime when the seat is released."

"
Next, we have the soap. A quick sweeze and a suitably hard throw will activate the black hole generator which detonates on impact. You might need to be carefull with this one. Up next, is the exfoliating supplies-"

Grayven would be bored silly as President.

Grayven could always finance Governor Horton of Connecticut presidential bid.

All hail the hypno-pres!

Batman. Absolutely Batman. Even with the potential that Plastic Man has (Revealed in that JLA arc when they went to Atlantis), he's nowhere near as scary as Batman.

The ability to do something a little or a lot beyond a humans capacity or ability isn't as scary as what a Normal human can do if they're at peak ability, highly intelligent, creative, and well trained. And want to hurt you.

Besides, the only power that Paul has over Batman, is his avarice enlightenment. He just has a fucking awesome tool. If Batman had a Phantom Ring (Corps, not Man Who Walks), he'd be just as, if not far more fucking dangerous.
Is there some other Phantom Ring I'm not aware of? Because the only one I can find is the Lantern equivalent to a Mood Ring made of C4. That thing is on principle more powerful a tool than Paul orange ring, how does that prove anything?

She rises to her feet before stretching. "You know what this room needs?"

"Pseudo-sentient magic drone guns?"

"Seats. Proper soft furnishings." I reach her and she falls in besides me, leaning on my left arm slightly. "Holograms just aren't the same."
Poor Zatanna. The boy she loves refuses to be civilized.

So... am I right in thinking the Cobblepot fellow is nothing but a torso and head in a box? Or did OL do something different to restrain and obtain info from him?

Its the penguin, he's small enough that even with legs he still fits in a box.
Also, Robin said batman has done worse to him, and i'm pretty sure batman never hacked anybodies limbs off.
