Unfortunately, building my new drone squadron and making the Thanagarian Command Carrier shipshape took up enough time that I couldn't justify spending the time required to create a hush tube generator merely to look cool.
Sounds justified to me.
"Grayven, what the hell are you doing?!"

Oh, it's Richard. "Finishing what I came here to do. Oh, and Kara? There's a proper Supergirl uniform in a bag backstage. Put it on and I'll give everyone a chance to evacuate before the fighting starts."
Holy shit, the sheer amount of cheekiness on display.

Possible typos:
As a result I'm forced to watch from orbit, above the gaze of observation satellites as too far away for anyone to easily detect.
*Typo? Is "as too far away" just an idiomatic usage of "as" that I'm unfamiliar with?
It's like Doombots or Darkseid -I mentally air quote- Avatars.
*Typo? Is there a missing apostrophe, or am I just parsing the sentence incorrectly?
Tabacco money. I've seen the accounts. Hop it."
*Typo (but already noted by others).

I read it as Tabasco for a moment.

Ah, the robopresident's starting. He's actually a better public speaker than the real President Horne, though he has most of the mannerisms off pat. May as well listen. Ring?

"…fellow Americans, distinguished guests. We're here today in gratitude for our deliverance from the alien threat that came very close to destroying our world and everyone on it. The Thanagarians came to Earth claiming to be the allies and protectors of its people when in fact…" He takes a moment to make eye contact with a few cameras from the more notable news agencies. Real Horne never did that. His speeches are dry and factual, verbal essays taking you to his conclusion without doing anything so base as arousing interest.
"Your President was replaced by a robot! You can tell because he stopped acting like one."

Hmm. I'll admit, it is very satisfying to see Grayven speak truth to power. Especially stupid power.

Grayven: Who ordered the Supervillian with extra Ham? Because I'm here with enough to show all you colonials what a proper English Breakfast looks like!

I think it may be the part where he called Captain Marvel William.
Because people will be totally able to find his child-form going off of an adult face and first name.

Also, I looked at those links; Marvel looked like a smug asshole, and Sinestro's artists were really making him rock the hitlerstache - I mean, come on, we couldn't work out that he was evil without it? It's not like you hadn't already made him look like a weasel.

Ah, nothing like Grayven being himself to liven up a party.

Given his freaking name? I figure his artist guess that they're so far past subtly they may as play things to the hilt.

I have no idea why, but for some reason I had a thought that the President was an android all along, and took over Gonzo's body to gain a more powerful and capable body to inhabit, with which he can better serve the people. Stupid, yes, but it makes me smile.
